Beautiful house, very clean and with spacious family room. The location and views at the lake were wonderful.
Nothing.

Super cute, great location, very convenient communication options
more pillows in the room, but we were there super late (past when staff was in the office) so it's totally understandable!

Location
Very few lights in the room; only one key provided

Air conditioning was already on. The room was very inviting and clean. Bathroom was also very clean.

It is very convenient to downtown Woodstock.
They should have offered discounts because there was a Do Not Drink the Water ban due to recent flooding. It was also way over priced for a two star hotel. $600 for Saturday night!!! My friend paid $250 Friday night with no reservation.

No breakfast. No coffee in room or lobby. Under construction. Disappointed. Not as advertised not for the cost

I liked the location. It was close to everything.
No handicap accessibility. My brother is handicap and there was not an elevator to the second floor where our room was located 225. That made it very difficult to get him up and down every day. Also their was lots of construction going on at the time of our stay. We had to walk over ditches and ravines to get in and out of the property. I was not told of any ongoing construction when I booked my room. I paid approx $400 per night for this room, and I could not cancel upon booking it. The next day, I looked on your website, and that same room was selling $300 cheaper than what I paid. Also, we had to go into the freezing hallway to use the microwave and coffee maker. The outside double doors were left open due to the construction. There was not any cable television in our room so we could not watch TV. The WiFi on the property was so poor that we had to go outside in the freezing weather to use our cell phones. There was not a clock/radio in our room, so we had to use the alarms on our cell phones for wake-up calls. Because of these reasons, I would not recommend to my friends or family to stay at this property and I feel like I should be compensated for the reasons I stated. Thank you.
Sincerely, Donald Kates 702-372-1310

The location was perfect for attending wassail weekend activities without having to drive anywhere or try to park.
The shower was stopped up and they didn't clean it after the dirty water drained.

Great location, clean, helpful staff
Virtually no wifi in our room, and cellular service in the room (#107) was almost non existent, went to the parking lot to make phone calls

spacious, clean and comfortable beds. great location easy stroll to the town and nice view on the river.

Loved the location. Close to downtown. They responded to our issue the next day. They didn't ignore us.
The room was hot, even with the air on and the windows open. Heat wouldn't shut off. Really uncomfotable.

The room was decent, and the location good for our vacation. The king size bed was comfortable; it was quiet; the basic necessities had been provided.
The staff was hard to find. I believe that at least one member of staff should've been there at all times. I don't like texting when I need anything. There was no place to have dinner anywhere.

beautiful property located right in the town of wood stock
3.9
The location.
The room could use a decor refresh. I suppose the prices are in line with other inns in the area, but it was the most I have paid for that level of room.

beautiful view,
nice room and good location
no service, dirty sheets, poor plumbing In general service was non existent or unhelpful

Spacious rooms, great location...5 minutes from the area of all the stores and cafés.
There was no coffee machines in the room. There is one in the floor, but it wasn't very clean and didn't have all the needed equipment at all times.
The towels felt too old and crumbly.
Value for money wasn't good. Paid around 870 USD without breakfast.

Location, nothing else
Room was in poor condition. Light over sink flickering. Informed management at 10:10 AM, waited all day for it to be fixed finally at 6:10 PM I had to get aggressive with the person on duty to finally get it fixed. Construction on room next door, when we checked in told it would last for 2 hours, still working 3 days later. 1 small bar of soap for two adults for 2 days for a $300+ room. Pathetic. Felt I had to apologize to my wife for booking this stay. Received a credit on my bill but full amount charged to credit card

The outdoor areas are beautiful and well maintained and equipped. They provide outdoor games, seating and a fire pit. The view of the river is stunning. The hotel in well within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Woodstock.
The room was disappointing. The rooms pictured online on the Shire website are their updated rooms, which are beautiful. However, they did not disclose that they are in the process of updating, and many of the rooms do not match the pictures. Ours being one of them.
There was a crew working on the rooms on our floor, which was loud and could be heard from our room.
There was no coffee available in the room or lobby. The dresser and bathroom was dusty, the beds were older and uncomfortable. The bathroom fixtures didn't work properly. The air conditioner didn't work properly, and when we bought it to the attention of the staff, she did make an attempt to check into it, but didn't listen to us, and told us to just open a window. However, we have a toddler and opening a 2nd story window overnight would have been a safety risk. Besides that, one of the window locks was broken all together.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel for small children. If you have little kids, you may want to stay outside of Woodstock and drive into town to visit. The only playground in town isn't meant for pre-k and younger.

it’s proximity to the middle of town and being on the river. our room faced it. very relaxing. we would consider staying here again.
no daily housekeeping. my wife was dissatisfied with that. but I do know all we had to do was ask and they brought us what we needed. however I also like having clean towels and the trash emptied every day. plus our sink had a big crack in it. not good!

The location is amazing, views of the river and a short walk in to Woodstock centre. Convenient store directly across the road. We picked the corner river view room and strongly recommend it!
Nothing 😃

It was in a great location to walking downtown Woodstock. There was a market across the street which was very convenient.
The bed platform was held up by blocks underneath and the mattress was very firm. Neither the sink nor tub drained properly. No coffee maker in the room.

friendly and accommodating staff
the property was exactly as advertised
