This was our 8th time staying and everything is always so wonderful. It was extra fun this time because of the Halloween celebrations.
You guys always run out of the roasted chicken :)

We love Flying Flags, and try to go every year as a “staycation” with our kids since we’re local. It’s a family friendly of all ages place to go relax get away and have fun.
A younger girl/lady who helped me second during check-in was just very rude with her tone, it immediately put me off and so I had my husband come in and check in instead (a different lady (curly haired lady) who helped me first, who in the end helped him as well, super nice).
Also our BrewHaus cabin wasn’t the cleanest by any means. For how much the cabins go for a night (it was our first time in the cabins), they look a lot nicer online. This is the 3rd year though of cleanliness being at the bottom.
The pool by the office was closed so only the one pool was open and was just extremely busy Saturday and Sunday but hey that’s to be expected especially in summer!

Our cottage was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Check in and check out was easy. The A/C, heater, and fan were excellent to have in the cottage. The location was great...right next to Solvang and many restaurants close by. We didn't use the pool but it looked well maintained. I like that only a few cottages had access to it so it was never crowded. We will definitely be going back with a larger group.
I know it's a campground and you can't really control it but there was some ants in the kitchen, bathroom, and loft. The beds were not comfortable at all. I suggest you add more blankets as it gets cold at night. Stairs to the loft were very steep despite it saying its meant for kids.

Beautiful grounds, food & pools. Conveniently located.
Our cabin backed up to the freeway, super loud. Loft was very sketchy getting up and down stairs. Bed was hard.

it’s diversity
definitely need better food options ,everything in that town closes so early, if you run out of food after like 8 pm you’re out of luck. but that’s about it for anything negative

clean, great location, amazing amenities! the staff was friendly and responsive
we had rain during our stay. the outdoor area with our barbecue was only covered with a shade cover which did not stop the rain. it was a bit soggy when trying to cook and when entering and exiting the cabin

Everything was clean, the room, the bathrooms as well as the grounds.
I enjoyed everything, I do have 1 recommendation, to maybe put stepping stones or something leading to the tiki tent door. The walk way from to parking side was muddy from rain and it got tracked into the the tent.

The property was great! We used the pool and hot tub, both heated and comfortable even in the cold/rainy month of November. The facilities were clean and very well maintained. We were in Brewhaus 3, but we will likely go again and stay in one of the other cabins or tents just to try something different.
The only negative was the bed. It was stiff as a board and so noisy! If you rolled over (or breathed 😂) it squeaked. So I didn’t sleep well. All four of our kids fit in the loft and the two mattresses up there seemed comfortable. We brought two thermarests for the other two kids.

I loved the Park itself, a lot of things for folks to do with Families, close to other areas where you can adventure. Park itself was very clean.
The RV/Airstream we rented had a lot of spiders and ants in it, which was not as big of a deal as other aspects of it. The Toilet had the wrong seat on it, so you hat to prop the seat up with one leg if you were trying to pee standing up, and to make it worse there is a step-up that also makes you hunch over if you are 6ft or taller. The bathtub and shower were tiny, again to be expected in a trailer but these are exceptional and what made this exceptionally bad was that there was only about 1 minute of hot water in the bathroom. So you had to scrunch down, bend over to get under the shower head, soap up, and rinse off in under a minute. Taking a bath, the water only fills up to about 2 inches before hot water gives out, that is in a super tiny bath.

The property was clean and nice. Friendly staff.
check in was at 4 and when we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait to check in until 4:30. but they did take off the resort fee.

tent, bathroom, amenities seemed nice
a/c was broken and stuck on at full blast throughout the already chilly night . my family, including our newborn, were freezing and hardly able to sleep. there were no extra blankets and the reception area was not staffed after 5PM. we were told after the fact we should have called the emergency line, and no reasonable effort was made to rectify the situation.

Friendly staff. We encountered problems with A/C in airstream & an employee in golf cart helped with the solution
Little bit too pricey for pet stay at $50
