It was very nice, I would choose to stay there every time, it just a little over my budget to stay to often. But on another special day it will be my first choice. It was my daughter’s birthday and first time to go to a casino.
Every thing was good, I could not ask for a better room or service.

I liked the size of the suite, the staff, and the cleanliness. I will definitely come again, but with a group of people, not for leisure by myself. The kitchenette was fully stocked. The sinking pool was a delight.
The first night.1 elevator was down. The second day both were out of order. I had to walk down the staIrs with my luggage. I went for relaxation and should’ve chosen a more remote place. It was completely congested with people for that weekend. And the train wasn’t relaxing. It was loud. The first night the swimming pool was too crowded. I got a chance to swim the next day, early morning around 10am.

Welcoming and friendly staff. We were given a good recommendation for places to eat which was only across the road (we got a 10% discount by showing our hotel pass)
Great selection of breakfast - sausages, scrambled egg, make your own waffles, corn grits, oatmeal with numerous choices for toppings and more, it was great)
Good location.
It would be great if the breakfast had “fresh” options (fruits or veggies)

Staff members were nice, the room was a comfortable size, and the breakfast options were great!
The hotel is in a busy area with train tracks located beside the building, but that's to be expected in the city. We just aren't used to all the noise and found sleeping difficult.

Front desk clerk wouldn't give me my points for staying and not having my room clean while I stayed there and she was rude

Breakfast was over before I made it down both days so I don't know
Breakfast should last until 10/10:30

How close the hotel was to everything
My room was supposed to be 226.00 but I got charged 250.00
Our room was 20 ft from a train track that ran every hour
Got up the next morning and wanted coffee but the front desk told me no it was for guests like I was a bum that walked up off the street instead of asking if I was a guest totally disappointed and frustrated

Location
Bathroom shower floor was stained from previous customers black hair dye which was not bleached clean which we didn’t know until inquiring about why the shower floor was black. I was too tired to ask for another room. Shower door magnet was broken which prevented the door from closing which allowed for water to spill on the bathroom floor. The mattress was hard as a brick. I Ike a firm mattress- but this was ridiculous. I have stayed at a lot of Residence Inn hotels and this was disappointing. I took pictures and video of room 419 at this location and showed it to the front desk staff and nothing was done. We won’t be back.

Excellent staff incredible Breakfast that included Turkey Sausage, Quiche , and a great tasting coffee! Hotel was nice clean and comfortable!
Location was great also in walking distance to the Shreveport's Louisiana Boardwalk.
Few stains on the couch and curtains!

The lobby area is quite nice and welcoming. From a distance, the hotel looks super nice. The beds were super comfortable.
Unfortunately, upon closer examination of areas within in the room, one becomes acutely aware of how dirty the room actually is. The sofa cushions were covered in disgusting stains. The pull out mattress within the folding sofa bed were also covered in stains and the sofa bed was basically falling through the springs. My son sat on the side of the mattress and fell through. The floor wasn’t vacuumed well and there was evidence of a previous guest’s dinner remnants on the floor under the table. The location of this hotel cannot really be helped by the employees there, but one must realize they are just a block or so from a sketchy neighborhood. I definitely didn’t feel safe going to my car at night. There was a crazy person screaming across the street at another man about how he was going to kill him. They were apparently from the neighborhood there. I feel like a fence around the perimeter or constant security out there (at least at night) would make guests feel safer.
