Cozy B&B that suited my business travel needs in the west bay area.

The bed and breakfast may not look like the best choice for a business traveler, but it met all of my needs - a clean, comfortable, safe, spacious room with strong WiFi - and exceeded my expectations! I accidentally left a few items behind and the kind staff made sure I received them back asap. Communication via text also was smooth and convenient.

I booked a ground-floor room that looked into the deck. Some people passed by which first startled me, but it wasn't bad during the early mornings and late evenings. Also, the town is so safe that having the windows unlocked and open was not an issue.

Bed was comfortable! Charming decor. Breakfast was great , we ate on the patio, had our wine and played cards there too.

Amazing!! I will definitely be re-visiting again

They were able to accommodate my vegan diet with their breakfast, which is always a bonus! They were always so kind and considerate while we stayed there. I would definitely stay here again!

此次入住Light Ship房型。從房間佈置到一樓的餐廳與大廳，處處都可以感受到主人對高質感細節的堅持。房間內用的寢具非常舒適、洗浴用品氣味清新不甜膩。房間用的櫥櫃、床頭、桌椅都是特別精選。一樓大廳與客廳的設置令人感到放鬆，空間播放輕音樂，牆面掛著老照片。主人設置熱茶飲品區供客人使用，夜晚時刻還大方的招待白酒。早上會提供現做早餐。整體而言，住宿這裡非常愉快放鬆，大力推薦～

A new favorite inn in Half Moon Bay.

The property is classic, charming, and beautiful. We loved our room - which they upgraded for us as we were celebrating a milestone birthday. The breakfast was delicious and the wine served in the evening was good. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Really look forward to staying there again. Also, staff was wonderful - kind and welcoming.

False Advertising!

Very nice personnel. Very clean. Wine happy hour.

False Advertising: Booked Light Ship room based on website greenery outdoor photo (criminal misrepresentation) = not = dense buildings...SUPER POOR. Breakfast was also POOR for price paid: scrambled bland eggs, white plain toast & here's your bowl of fruit. Pick up your B&B game!

Such a great Inn. Really.

The most cozy and lovely house, super comfortable beds and great shower, a cute back patio and free parking in the front.

There's only staff at the house from 4pm to 6pm otherwise you'd have to call them if you need anything, which can be a bit troublesome for tourists.

It was a nice stay.

The bed was very comfortable. The fireplace was great & made the stay cozy. The carpet was nice, and the staff was friendly. The location was very convenient.

There are very limited tv channels. The wifi did not work in our room. As soon as it would connect, it would stop 30 seconds later, and kept going on like that. Eventually we stopped trying to make it work. The other guests in the house were door slammers. This was a disturbance, unfortunately. Although that poor etiquette/lack of consideration from others was not the B&B’s fault, I think giving a reminder to the guest checking in that it is an shared space and to be considerate of the noises they are making would be helpful towards keeping a comfortable space for everyone.

Mooie locatie, mooi onderkomen maar te duur.

Prachtige locatie, mooie patio.

Het ontbijt was erg simpel. We kregen ochtends scrumbled eggs met een worstje. Voor de prijs zou dit zeker uitgebreider kunnen. Bij het uitchecken hebben we naar de beveiligingscamera gezwaaid ;-)

We stayed in the Miacomet room and from the pictures and description it was not clear that the bathroom, even though private, was outside the room and you would enter it from the common hallway. This made it quite unpleasant for us as it felt a bit exposed

Beautiful comfortable inn

Super cute inn. Parking was available. The room was a lovely size - clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, lovely bathroom and shower. There was a beautiful outdoor seating area. Complimentary wine and biscuits were provided, and we took the opportunity to play some of the boardgames that were available to us. Within walking distance of some lovely restaurants in the area.

You chose a slot for breakfast (which was fine) but there was only a small dining table to sit at for this breakfast, and other guests overran on their slots, meaning that some guests had to instead sit outside in the cold to have their breakfast. We also didn't know what we were going to get for breakfast until it was put in front of us - would've been nicer to have been told beforehand so we could say yes or no thanks.

The Nantucket Whale Inn deserves a five star rating.

Friendly staff, accommodating, a true bed and breakfast experience. Wine served in the evenings, fruit, tea and coffee always available, and an excellent breakfast. Lovely outside patio. Updated rooms with fresh linens and towels, well stocked with essential toiletries as well.

Good value for money if for just the weekend.

Getting checked in was very easy and loved the wine offering at the end of the day.

The walls are thin, we could hear another couple in the dinning room having a good time in their room. Parking is limited. I wish there was a choice of bacon and eggs vs just bacon and pancakes as wife and I are not big on high carb meals.

Lovely place in HMB - would recommend

The room was well designed and very comfortable. The location is great to walk into the town, where there are lots of nice places to to eat and shop. Also only a 15 min walk to the beach.

Breakfast choice could have been better. It was very nice but it was a little take it or leave it.

Nice facility, but poor communications.

Great location, nice facility but upgraded room with shower and spa tub right in the main room was not to our taste. Outside staircase access to room when raining awkward. Glad we didn’t have to pay the going price for the room as we sure did not see the value for the price.

Bad communications spoiled our visit. Booked room had a maintenance issue and we were upgraded to another room but no one told us so there was confusion on arrival. Breakfast food suffered from sitting aside due to chef believing meal would be served in room but lady who greeted us assigned us a specific time in the dining room so we were waiting there but chef took food to room. Our dining companions came to dining room 10 minutes early and were served along with an earlier sitting of folks. So we ended up dining alone without the companionship and it took awhile after the assigned time for the food to catch up with us. No contact with owners just staff depersonalized the experience.
