We also had to wait the next morning for someone to open the office to get to the self service dining area. Not much selection Only 2 cereals to choose from and bagels. bottled juice. Make your own coffee K cups
Upon arrival, the door was locked and we had to call someone to open the Motel. (The temperature was in the 90,s) A young lady showed up 10 minutes later with the WRONG keys and we had to wait for another person to bring them) We could have had a bed that wasn't hard as a rock and lumpy, and an air conditioner that did not ROAR all night ( I am hearing impaired and was not wearing my hearing aids and was awake most of the night), a shower that did not have a few hairs in it, a towel bar that would hold a bath sized towel, a shelf over the sink to put my shaving gear etc. Screen in the Bathroom window that did not have holes in it, so we could open the window for fresh air at night due to the noise described from the AC. A chair that was CLEAN. This one is Filthy. As there was only one other couple (our friends) staying there, they could have offered to change our room. Clean up all the dead insects (roaches) outside the door. (I was told they were June bugs and they were swept up soon after I mentioned them). Overall, the room was so small that we could not move around without bumping into one another. It should only be rented to a single person. AS there is not enough space available in the next section. and due to the conditions above we would like to ask for a REFUND for the day not used! I did take a few photos, but am not computer literate enough to know how to put them here.

Easy to find. Evening staff was nice. Location of installed a/c was not optimal.
a little dated but that is ok since we just needed a place to sleep overnight and headed out early the next day.

Sheets were gross, the room felt dirty, the bathroom was small and the hot water in the shower
kept fluctuating in temperature, there was also not much of a breakfast.

Breakfast was not available until after 8 am...which was way too late for us to get it. Never been to a hotel/motel which wouldn't provide any breakfast before 8 am...and they didn't provide coffee for the coffee makers in the rooms either! What good is a coffee maker without coffee??
Front desk had limited service hours, but even during the posted service hours, most of the time personal were gone and lobby was locked saying they were "temporarily away".

Was very pleased to be "upgraded" to a room at the sister motel due to the snow storm. The upgrade meant I got a bigger bed, a king instead of queen. Overall, the receptionist was very friendly and kind and hospitable.
I understand that there was a blizzard in the middle of Maine but my original booking was upgraded because the motel parking lot was not plowed and so the receptionist couldn't even make it up the small hill to the building. I don't know if plows weren't available but what about the current customers staying there?! What if there were no more rooms available at the sister motel? The sister motel parking lot was also not plowed. There was a good 6-8 inches of snow and it was a good thing I had a SUV with AWD. Even then I had a hard time maneuvering out of my parking spot to drive down to my room after I checked in. I'm curious why no plow was scheduled or arranged.
I also had to borrow a shovel from some other guests to shovel the walkway in front of my room! I was lucky they were outside at the same time as me to lend me their shovel. Not sure if it was the motels or not.
On another note, room overall could be cleaner. It was not Hyatt or Hilton but the bathroom made me want to wear socks in the shower.

The fact that we stayed only for two days and that Maine is beautiful outside the motel.
Already had low expectations, but was still disappointed. Stained 'clean' bedsheets, occasionally stinky wind from AC, no pressure in the shower, stale old coffee, dirty curtains that cover the AC vent, and many other annoying little things.

Location was good. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Explained policies and was extremely helpful.
Size of bathroom was unacceptable. It was tight and hard to maneuver in. Awakened at midnight by a group yelling and laughing extremely loud outside our door. Lasted for a half hour.

First thing, the front door was locked during business hours. When I called the number on the door I was ignored 3x before some mildly irritated woman answered the line and blew me off. i called again to be ignored once more. By the 5th call I was told someone would be right with me. Mind you, this took place at the time of my scheduled check in. When I asked for a refund I was refused despite never stepping into the motel. So now these rude, lazy people have stolen my money and refusing all responsibility. Will never stay here again and would suggest no one else does either.

The room was dark and a bit dank. The bathroom was so cramped you could hardly fit between the sink and the shower stall. And thank goodness the heat did not work so they moved us to a different property that they owned and it was 10 times better!!

This property is unclean, poorly maintained, and physically hazardous. The carpet in the room was filthy, the room was musty, the bathroom was tiny, there was mold on the shower curtain, and the parking lot had trash in it. I am only able to add one photo.

The lobby was locked the whole time.. Couldn't even get in for the breakfast that was supposed to come with the room!!

The location was good for Farmington
They didn’t clean out the fridge so there was someone else’s food left. The sheets were stained and the WiFi did not work in our room.

Rooms need updates...out back where our room was is totally a mess on the property....rooms had stained sheets and floors and chairs and had a musty smell...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The first night we were there we couldn't get the heat to shut off and as soon as I told the maid she immediately told the manager and someone came and took care of the issue.

The chickens running around the property.
No staff available upon arrival. Wasnt until 345 they showed up. Breakfast wasn't available and no staff were around to complain to. One of the worst stays.

Room was a bit dated and we wished outdoor furniture had cushions.

My family and I loved our stay.. the room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. We had even extended our stay two extra days. The hotel it set on top of a hill, looking down to a large lawn to the road and across to a beautiful scenery and got to watch the rain roll in.. the back of the hotel was even better, a great outdoor seating area, with some free range chickens that entertained my daughter for hours. The absolutely best thing about this hotel is the staff. I’m so horrible at names but the lady that works weekends and the lady with the colorful hair are the greatest. They went above and beyond what any hotel staff gets payed to do to make me feel %200 comfortable with my stay.. As busy as they are working two hotel locations they were alway a call away, always super friendly and welcoming.. I don’t find myself in Maine very often but the Mount Blue Motel is where I’d love to stay if I’m ever in the area again ... Thank You Guy So Much 💜
Okay the bathroom is a little small but hey business got done ... and the beds are squeaky but they were super comfortable

It was cozy, the bed was so comfy.
The rate is the lowest in the area at $89.00 but seems a bit high for just the essentials of motel staying. It was very clean and very nice staff. They were remodeling near my room but you never heard a peep even without the TV on in the room.

The lady at front desk was nice.
When we stayed, they had people doing renovations and they worked up til 11:30 at night. My children got woken up due to the noise and was hard to get them back to sleep. There was no breakfast...
