It was clean, comfortable and in easy access to the front desk.
I didn’t exactly care for the back room right next to the noisy railroad all night long. Next time I’d prefer an inside room.

Staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable
Bathtub was very dirty and the walls are paper thin. We were woken up at 4 am by noises in the hall and our neighbours television. Not in the greatest part of town.

The pool, the beds, breakfast. Clean rooms and bathrooms.
The grounds were not very well maintained. Definitely needs some upgrading in certain places. Would recommend pressure washing of entire outside of building as well as carpet cleaning and vacuuming. More sweeping in pool area. Hot tub could have been a bit cleaner.

Comfy bed. Good hot tub and pool (we had a week of vacation with some bad hot tubs/pools that we paid much more for!). Clean. Standard continental breakfast.
The room was tiny. The location was close to everything we were going to but somewhat industrial.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Shared all of the amenities and when they were open. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Rooms had heat to turn on.
Cleanliness was not great. There were food crumbs around my bed. The bathroom had things on the wall that were very easily wipeable. The door to the outside had a huge amount of cool air spilling through. We had to put our bags against it as a draft dodger. Heat was off when we arrived and the room was uncomfortably cold.

Great Breakfast
No elevator, that sucks. So please do not bring heavy baggage

Beds were comfortable
NO ELEVATOR. Ridiculous to haul suitcases up floor. My tv didn’t work than had to change rooms

Even smelled clean. Lots of new flooring and amenities. Looking good!

It was very spacious
Pool was dirty (lots of hair in it) and too chlorinated!

Room was medium...not so great looking.
No elevator, train was too noisy at night, breakfast was really bad, had to go out to breakfast instead. Lots of stairs and long hallways to walk to get to the lobby. The hotel is out dated, stairs were steep and needed fixing. Too expensive for the value... not where I would like to stay at the rate we paid.

Breakfast Good
Reaching second floor room through back door was strange. Parking for check-in somewhat inconvenient. Quote for room was misleading. Room reservation was made in Canada, room was located in Canada, but rate was in US Dollars at Check-in.

The bed was amazing
Disappointed that there was no bathtub.

The inside was well taken care of.
The outside was rather terrifying

The staff were very friendly and it was off the highway
We were put across from the pool so it was noisy, the walls were paper thin, we could hear the conversation word for word from the next room, it felt like they were in our room. Only one visible outlet for charging our devices and they weren’t close to the nightstands. No counter space on the bathroom vanity for my makeup bag. Only spoons and knives available for breakfast, try eating an omelet with a spoon. My visa was charged for a $50 room deposit, first time a hotel has ever done this and I’ve stayed in lots.

Although there were serious negatives, the positives were a comfortable mattress, yet the 1” cubed foam chunks in the pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The clearly marked Dove products affixed with a pump dispenser in the washroom were a great bonus, which meant no fumbling with tiny toiletries and their tiny writing. Towels were very clean, soft & fresh! Room was quite clean & fresh, however pool water quite cold and the hot tub was so disgustingly dirty & smelled not of chlorine, but of filthy, dirty people. There should be a HOT TUB RULES Posting List ie: 1 Must shower before use, 2 No children under 10, 3 No food or beverages 4 Recommend 15 Minutes per visit for health & safety.
A few serious negatives, the 1” cubed foam chunks in the pillows were terribly uncomfortable. There should be a HOT TUB RULES Posting List ie: 1 Must shower before use, 2 No children under 10, 3 No food or beverages 4 Recommend 15 Minutes per visit for health & safety. In the Breakfast Room a person kept picking up the handles of utensils and touching all the condiments & containers, then putting it back over & over. I finally had enough- turned to him & said, “Don’t you think that you should keep all those things you keep touching., especially due to Covid safety?“. Turns out my husband said he is a staff member, so all the more so safety should be his priority! So at least wear gloves! And one more tip: the smaller, older lady at the front desk should speak as one working at a ‘hotel’ with guest clientele, not of a person taking orders at a loud night club. All during breakfast 50 feet away I heard her every phone conversation & conversations with guests and staff…. she speaks far too loudly in a hospitality environment.

Good breakfast in good location. The pool and hot tub were appreciated and the staff was helpful in resolving a problem. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and it is close to the main route North and South.
We were in the West Wing which we learned allows dogs. An owner left what was a large loud dog in his room and it was across the hall barking non stop. Owner was located came back, cursed the dog out with loud profanity then left again, and dog started in again. I requested another room and was given the keys. Dog owner came back and dog quieted down and we didn't move. Next time we go there we will request room anyplace but West wing.

It was close to the hospital we were visiting
The floors were dirty there was a lot of pet hair , the shower was full of mildew, weed was smoked all around the property being sucked into the room by the heat pumps , people were slamming doors all hours of the night and a garbage truck emptied a large dumpster at 1 am. We were woken up every hour and our son was having surgery the next morning . Not a great stay at all

Value for money. Someone scratched my car in the parking lot. Staff were helpful in getting everything sorted. We really enjoyed our stay as a family

We have stayed here many times over the last few years, like the location. Loved the pool and hot tub until how dirty it is now and the floors are extremely dangerous!
Pool and hot tub were disgustingly dirty! The hot tub was cold! The floors in the pool room are extremely dangerous, from being very slippery! The shower has no kind of handles for safety support! Breakfast is never maintained by staff, as they are always on their cell phones and outside smoking, every 5 minutes! Always have to request eggs, pancake filling, as they were always empty! The breakfast area was never cleaned up!

Staff is very friendly
There was no sausages ( or meat) with breakfast, the hot tub looked a little scummy, maybe just used a lot that day, not sure
