The privacy, the quiet peacefulness, the outstanding view

The View Suite has literally an amazing view! We could watch wildlife right from our suite - eagles, beavers, deer,… The hosts are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. There are kayaks to use and paddling out in the evening is just beautiful! All super clean, well equipped - just the perfect stay! Plus there is a super brewery in walking distance - went there 4 nights in a row 😀
Nothing!!!!

The wonderful suite ... the private outdoor jacuzzi ... the beaver family in the pond right outside the window ... the birds flying everywhere ... kayaking in the estuary ... and of course the ever helpful and pleasant Harold ... I could go on
We should have spent even more time at Inn at the Estuary than we did

I loved everything about my stay. The location is truly a little slice of heaven. It's so tranquil and watching all the bird activity was such a treat. Harold was the perfect host. He was really helpful and let you know he was only a text or phone call away, while completely respecting your privacy. I truly can't wait for a return visit!

You can relax and let nature entertain you. We did lots of bird watching. Felt like we were in nature. It was our second time staying because it is so peaceful.

This property was such an amazing city break getaway! The place was spotless and very well equipped. The owners even left us their air fryer. The jetted bath tub was amazing!! We used it both nights with lavender salts which was left for us!

Second time staying with Harold at Inn the Estuary. It is a beautiful place with very comfortable rooms, nice little kitchens, and stunning views. The heated floors are a plus. Harold is an extremely welcoming host. Lots of wildlife to see from your suite.
The bed is a bit softer than I like. No other criticisms.

Love the location and the way the room is designed. The large windows to look at a gorgeous view is amazing!

Absolutely spotlessly clean and a breathtaking private location.
A smart tv or Netflix would’ve be nice though not essential.

highway noise, alittle noisy from the people that were above us.

There was no breakfast. Location was beautiful close to Parksville Coombs and Nanaimo .
It was great.

Secluded & tranquil with a wall of windows to lookout over the estuary! Comfie bed! Nice to have coffee & fresh milk available to use!
We had a F150 truck & lane entry very narrow & winding, no signage but helpful directions from Owners. We’ll come in our car next time! Would have loved the tub to be indoors!

It’s a one of a kind property, where both attention to details in interior and scenic views magically combined. A great place to escape the downsides of civilization while not being deprived of the benefits of the one.

The setting is wonderful. And the hosts clearly care a lot about the quality of your stay and the beautiful landscape. The view is truly remarkable and waking up to drink coffee watching hummingbirds through floor to ceiling windows is an amazing experience!

The view of the estuary and peaceful setting is unparalleled. The rooms are were well appointed with a full kitchen. Everything was immaculately clean and the owner (Harold) was fascinating to talk with.

This is a stunning and attentively designed property with serene views. Harold is a great host who makes every effort to please shares ideas regarding what to do in the area. The property is run in the style of a high end B&B. We couldn’t be happier that we chose this property as our home base for Parksville instead of staying at one of the beachside hotels. We will be recommending Inn the Estuary to all our friends!

Our second wonderful stay at The Inn on the Estuary.

The view and location was amazing. Peaceful, quiet and private.
The location, room, and owner were all very nice. Peaceful property, gorgeous view.
..but, ANTS! Ants everywhere. Ants in the cupboards, ants in the couch, the carpet, the toaster, the kettle, the countertops.... My partner and I both woke up with ants on us. There were ants in the bed, ants in our luggage... It was incredibly disappointing and uncomfortable . The host did come over quickly with some bug spray for us the next morning, but after spending the night up until 3am killing ants with paper towels while my partner slept, it was a little too late for me. Within an hour I had traced back the source of the ants to a space behind the dishwasher, and put out enough bug traps and sprays to have most of it dealt with my our checkout morning. But if I could find the problem so easily, the owners could have as well, and before we got there. Or a warning at least, that this is a known issue, and leaving some bug repellant handy so the first night is not spent up all night extermination bugs. Ultimately it was a big damper on our weekend, but I hope the next guests appreciate the time and effort we put in to fixing this ant problem during our stay, but it should NOT have been our responsibility to take care of. Ultimately we will not be back because of this. But if this issue was taken care of, is quite a beautiful place.
