Lage war gut
Hat nach Chlor gerochen, brutal heiss im Zimmer, Zimmer war schwer zu erreichen, nerviges piepsen bei der Rezeption. Extrem kleines Bad. Waschbecken war ausserhalb des Bades.

Pleasant staff, spacious room, easy access to stores and restaurants, pool and hot tub was in great shape.
Right next to a main hwy. So it was noisy.

We paid a premium rate to stay at the Ramada Inn in Abbotsford. When we arrive reception, wise, professional, but cool. The Ramada does not accept debit when we arrived in the parking lot we pulled into park and there was a person sound asleep in the driver seat of the vehicle next to us that made us feel uncomfortable, I told the receptionist that she brushed it off we got to our room as soon as we open the door there was a really bad smell. There were several dark stains on a pretty dark carpet. The stains were large, and we felt uncomfortable walking in our bare feet there were a couple of flies in our room , the room was supposed to have another piece of furniture, but somebody took it out and so there was a vacant corner which made the room look very unfinished. An empty box from the hairdryer was just left lying on the counter in the bathroom. One of the lamps was crooked on the wall. Another one was blinking on and off there’s no place to plug in your iPhone. I have stayed in a Ramada in Fort St. John before the hotel was immaculately capped. The room was amazingly clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful at every level. This was virtually completely opposite.
Pretty much everything you would expect as clients to pay a pretty high price for a short stay was unsatisfactory.

The staff were friendly.
The room was outdated and dirty. Pieces of the door in the bathroom were broken off and the soft chairs were so old and dirty that we didn’t want to sit on them. The whole hotel really needs renovating. The area was also very dodgy (homeless people camped out nearby).

I like the ease of check in minus the fact I couldn't use the debit machine.
The room itself was dirty. Continental breakfast was disturbing. There is a room for breakfast with tables, chairs and coffee, juice options. Not in operation we were to find out. Breakfast started at 7am. Upon arriving for breakfast, had to wait until someone returned to the desk as clearly not breakfast for 7am. Then was given a paper bag with misc. breakfast items. A yogurt with a fork to eat with. An orange that had shriveled up and went straight into the garbage. A breakfast sandwich (egg on hamburger bun with cheese) that was still frozen, granola bar and some mysterious bread item. The pool was an odd color, possibly needing more chemicals, good cleaning or needing a full drain and water replacement. Hot tub was ice cold. In the parking lot there was a parked car with people sleeping inside when we came down for breakfast. Was unable to check out from the room to gain a receipt - no staff as we took breakfast back to the room to try to use the microwave and when returned the front desk personnel was gone with a note saying please leave your key here. Would take two business days to have the deposit returned to the credit card. No option to pay by debit.

The size of the room.
If this is the standard a Ramada hotel has stooped to I will never trust that brand again. Carpets dirty, staff unprofessional and not at all helpful. Breakfast is a joke.
Curtains and shower curtains filthy. Couldn't wait to get out.

The pillows were decent. That’s it.
Everything. Front desk lady was rude as heck. Key cards only worked once out of all the times we left the room. Had to get a new key every time. Rooms was dirty. Hand prints on pictures. Blood stains on carpet outside bathroom. Toilet was dirty.coffee pot dirty. Mirrors dirty. Overall worst housekeepers ever. And ceiling was literally falling apart.

I was very disappointed upon entering the lobby. Everything was run down and the walk to our room smelled of a dirty motel, like old smoke and alcohol in the carpet. The smell in our room, although the doors said the entire hotel was non-smoking smelled the same. Carpets were not clean, furniture was broken, walls were dirty.

the distance to the airport was good
the room had stains on the carpet and the ceiling has very visible water damage. the heating system was not working properly, so hot we had to turn it off and got cold. the noise from the hall was very loud. (just regular door closing sounded like it was in our room)

Location was what we wanted as it was
Close to the airport.
The first room we were given was very smelly. It was by the laundry area and it was humid, smelled of mold and urine. For a non smoking place it smelled like old smoke. We couldn’t stay in that room!! The staff was very accommodating and moved us to another room. I feel the rooms are dated, need a touch up with paint, new carpet and maybe some art??? Did someone steal it?? It just needs to feel clean and up to date. The price was reasonable but I expected a bit more. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we had to leave before it started.

Sadly, there's not much to like about this Motel. The place is very run down and the rooms are not well maintained. Many things are not in working order sadly I was not able to find anything I really liked about this day.
The motel was in horrible disrepair. The first room we were given, the floor was so dirty, that my wife was afraid to take off her shoes because she might get a fungus on her feet. Only through profusely complaining to the Head Clerk did she finally relent and switch our room. She switched us to the honeymoon suite which much of the features we're not working. It feels like the place was Under New Management and they are just doing the bare minimum to keep it open. There were a lot of questionable people wandering around in the parking lot during the night and it just didn't feel like a safe motel.
