Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The Inns of Aurora exceeded my expectations regarding the professionalism of staff, the cleanliness of the properties, the Spa and restaurants in their desire to exceed any expectations that you may have had prior to arrival.
There isn't anything I would change

Spa visit was best part of our trip
The inns are well kept and offer a few additional amenities like a small sampling of wine and cheese evenings and granola bars in the morning. The spa was the best part of our trip and well worth the price of the treatments.
The inns are secluded and the only small mini store and both restaurants are owned by the Inns so not a variety of things to do. No shopping nearby or other places to eat without a drive . We had to book 2 night minimum and chose booking.com because we have an account we use often. They booked us in a king garden level which was essentially in the basement of the inn. I called ahead concerned about noise and asked if we should upgrade. The inn person said they don’t have issues and those rooms tend to be quiet. Unfortunately we were awoken our 1st night by doors opening and closing and loud wedding guests. I asked if they could move us to a higher floor our last night but they told us we would have to pay for an upgrade through booking.com. I was disappointed since the price we paid for the current room was not inexpensive. We also secured two kayaks for the day we arrived to find out we had to cancel because the pick up and drop off spot was where they had set up a wedding ceremony that same time period. It is a beautiful place and love the designs of the inns. unfortunately if feels like it is set up as an events/wedding location rather than a couples getaway spot.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being excellent, 6-7. The Marriott downtown Syracuse was as good.
The bed was comfortable . The dinner in the Aurora is was good, not great. Staff was great
No decaf coffee, no soap in the shower, cool room that did not warm up with heat adjustments, arrogant staff

Nice inn atmosphere in a pretty little town.
The tiny town and environment were lovely. The staff was accommodating, and they offer cute little touches like a fire pit and fixings for s'mores. The decor is cute. And unlike most hotels, they had enough places to hang towels.
Something felt a little bit stuffy. The shower offered only a rain head that took forever to rinse out shampoo, and no place to prop up a leg. Also off-putting, after the fact, was the $37/day "resort fee" they charged. This is a deceptive way to quote a more competitive price and then charge customers more than the quoted price, Nice at it was, this facility is not a resort, nor was there any service offered worthy of $37 a day.
