The decor was beautiful and modern. The attention to aesthetic detail was very impressive. The staff are very responsive to queries.
The food in Sungold’s really good and the rooftop’s amazing for drinks and atmosphere.
There seems to be changes and information that all staff aren’t aware of.
The $15 daily credit was an issue that staff were unaware of and some saying they weren’t aware of this or how it worked.
The sliding door for the toilet area in the room gets stuck and comes off the rails which is a pain.

Palvelu oli todella hyvää. Uima-allas tosi kiva - etenkin kesällä, kun tosi kuuma. Alakerran baari oli mukava ja siisti. Ruoka oli hyvää. Parvekkeelta upea näkymä Manhattanille.
Hissit olivat ajoittain ruuhkaisia.

Location
The way they catered to non guests who were just there for the bar

Overcharges by restaurant. Failure of management to correct charges. Bed creeks and poor quality mattress.

Room was an ok size for New York, really comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Staff were really friendly and the hotel was in a great position to explore Brooklyn/Williamsburg. Lots of great places to eat and drink close by. Views from the balcony over Manhattan were amazing!
Be prepared for Williamsburg, it is not a quiet place of a night. The area has a party vibe especially at the weekends. We knew this going into our stay and thankfully the noise wasnt all night but it was ongoing late a night. Especially if there is a party on the roof of an evening. I think the rooms could benefit with improved double glazing/insulation. The balcony doors let in quite a bit of noise.

great location, balcony on room was fantastic with a view of Manhattan
despite being 28 degrees the pool was shut and a rather rude man told me to get out. shame they didn’t tell you this when checking on. room cleaned every three days, again not explained, and could do with a deep clean given dust under bed and broken glass on floor from previous guests. noisy during day if you were trying to get a rest, with drilling in other rooms and fire alarms going off. didn’t really find the staff very helpful.

L’accueil dans la chambre : c était l’anniversaire de mon mari. Nous avions une carte « joyeux anniversaire » et une bouteille de vin. Nous avons été surclassés avec un joli balcon et la vue sur Manhattan. Splendide !!

The view from the room was amazing. I also loved how walkable the area was and close to metro stops. The room was small but modern and had the amenities we needed. The room was also extremely quiet for the area and had a sliding glass door to allow fresh air.
The room had everything that we needed for a weekend but was definitely on the small side. Also some staff were short with guests (particularly those in charge of directing guests to The Water Tower).

Can’t improve on perfection

Nice staff cool bar and communal area
Room not great ie no plugs near the coffee machine. Nowhere to put towels in bathroom. Clean ones were just on top of toilet. Safe wasn’t working. Etc

The room was stylish and well furnished and comfortable. A perfect location in Williamsburg, walking distance to everything I needed. Staff was helpful and nice. Overall highly recommend!
The room was a bit small but that's really my only complaint. There was also construction going on so I wasn't able to access my room's outside balcony, but not a big deal at all.

Great location and amenities. Close to a lot of nice places to eat and drink and easy to get around the rest of Brooklyn (or to Manhattan)
Lovely room, great bathroom and facilities and the Juliet balcony was a touch
Nothing to dislike

The rooms are tiny but cute.
Overpriced! Too expensive for what it is. Incredibly loud because of the every weekend party events at the roof pool. The people who attend the pool party wander around the guest rooms and it’s dangerous. One of those party goers pushed the fire alarm in the 5th floor and we had to evacuate the hotel for hours and after there was no TV service until the next morning. Such a nightmare!

The room looked nice. Small but nice. View was fine.
I didn’t sleep one hour of the night. There is dance music from the club upstairs till four or 5 AM. I just needed a place to sleep. And this was not the hotel for that. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in many years. I’m sure the people who were dancing had fun.

I loved my stay at the Williamsburg Hotel, the decor, the architecture, the ambiance, the views, the neighborhood everything was fantastic! Beautiful bars, & restaurants within the hotel 100/10
I don't have not one negative comment.

The view is espetacular, and location is perfect. The food at the restaurant and the pools are the highlight of the hotel for sure. You don't need to wait in lines to access the Water Tower bar and the pool bar view is breathtaking!
The waiting time for the elevators is terrible. During the weekend or at night starting from Thursday the traffic to the rooftop bars area increases a lot, affecting the room area elevator traffic as well. The elevators are so slow and so busy, that some days I had to wait for almost 20 minutes to go back to my room from the ground floor. Implementing an elevator for guest only in the room area might help mitigate this issue.

Location, rooms & roof top
Rules about when my kids could use the pool. Only up to 12.00 noon each day due to alcohol being served around the pool. This made a big difference to our enjoyment of the facilities.

Rooftop pool and cocktail bar
Room was totally different from what is pictured on the website. Some staff not very polite or helpful at times.

Very clean hotel and good service from staff
If anything, the pace of cleaning as my room wasnt done on a daily basis. But that was still good enough for my stay 👍🏼

The location is good.
The hotel feels a little old and could do with a refurb in the main areas…the lobby also is tucked away downstairs and not obvious when you arrive, I had to ask someone where it was. In my room the safe was broken and I had to wait an hour for someone to come and open it to get my things, even though I needed to leave urgently and called 3x. Eventually I had to physically go down to get someone to come. This wasn’t fixed so I didn’t have a a safe for my stay. Hotel phone was not working all the time in the room, bathroom door was broken…although they did wave the “amenities fee” on check out. I just didn’t feel that the hotel was up to it’s star rating at all, it was a disappointment.

Location (and views!) were incredible, facilities are incredible, staff were kind. Breakfast was very good. Complimentary coffee and cookies before 9am were highly appreciated. Bed was very comfy. Free WiFi.
Future guests should be aware that The Williamsburg hosted three rooftop parties throughout our five night stay (which was not disclosed to us during the booking process), all of which were very loud and audible from the rooms. *Note, they probably were very fun, and were free for guests to attend, however it wasn't what we were looking for or aware of when booking our stay. The pool was incredible, but was almost always fully booked with non-hotel guests coming and treating it like a frat party.
The staff were not as attentive as we'd hoped, our room had broken glass in it on arrival, we asked for it to be cleaned as we went out and it wasn't done with any urgency. We asked for clean sheets one night and returned to a fresh bed, only to find the sheets had just been turned upside down.

The staff here is incredible. I stayed at the hotel twice in the span of 2-3 weeks on two separate trips. I'd forgotten some clothes in my room on my first trip after checking out, and when I came back again a week later for my second stay, they went above and beyond to track them down for me. I genuinely didn't have a single bad interaction with any of the staff while staying there, and definitely will consider booking again with them on my next visit.
The location itself is wonderful. It takes me less than ten minutes to get to the subway stop on foot, which I can take the L train straight to Manhattan. Williamsburg is also coming up in the food scene, so there's a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
The standard room was great, but it was really small, so if you've got a lot of luggage or are planning to be two in one room with more than two large luggage bags, you're probably not going to have enough room to move around.
I also wasn't a huge fan of the crowding from clubgoers in front of the hotel at the end of the night. I was chatting with a friend outside in the seating area, and someone threw up right in front of me in one of the plants next to the front door. It was not a good sight.
I also was bummed to hear that the hotel was bought and would be rebranded. Keep The Williamsburg Hotel branding!!!!!!!!!!! Don't change it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good location. nice pool but no beds.
Rooms are small. guests are incredibly noisy. best rooms are nearest loud people and elevators.

Great location, great atmosphere with great bar. We had food at the bar and it was excellent. We found the staff very friendly and engaging. The rooftop bar has great views. The bed was comfortable and very full minibar!
Nothing to add, it was really good

Room service and restaurant were good.
The staff weren’t very nice. The lady who even closed me out seemed annoyed. Which is weird since I’ve worked in the service industry for a long time. At 11pm with no warning they sent two men to my room who just started knocking and saying maintenance and this frightened me, as I had no idea they were coming and I’m a small woman. I didn’t open the door and called the front desk to see if this was the case. It seemed very suspicious. The rooms were so small it felt very congested. Overall disappointing.
The smell in the hotel is not pleasant.
