Superb

Location to Duke University is excellent. Large welcoming reception/bar area. Onsite parking. Good gym with early access. Bar food was good quality and tasty.

They put us in the wrong room. They downgraded us. And when we asked for our room which we paid for we had to dispute their claim of such a room never existing. only after significant back and forth where we put in a room a bit nicer than originally. terrible experience! terrible service! never staying there again!

Absolutely outstanding! Best accomodations in Durham.

Everything about the JB Hotel was exceptional. I was greeted by friendly helpful staff, room service was prompt and the food was very good. The gym is amazing. The location to Duke University is second to none. Loved my stay and cannot wait to visit again.

Overall, can't beat the location for Duke and the desk staff were AWESOME!

I liked the room set up and the size of the bathroom. It was clean and well laid out. TV was also good. I liked the large size of the shower and the brand of shower products. Parking was so easy and the front desk and bell staff were wonderful. Room was very quiet which we loved.

The breakfast was awful. The worst thing about our stay. For the price of the room, I was disappointed that: they didn't have any bottled water in the room or - in the interests of being green - carafes to fill at a hallway water station; the sheets were a little rough but fine; and the hairdryer was sticky and needed to be replaced.

location is great but the rooms did not meet our expectations.

The location is perfect. The Restaurant was great.

The first room we stayed in was not very clean; there was hair in the bathroom for example (see picture). The second room was small and not very updated. There was a quality difference between rooms; the bathroom products, coffee etc were quite different. the rooms did not meet our expectations from a 4star hotel, considering the price.

Absolutely wonderful place set into the trees.

Proximity to the Duke Track, outdoor light filtering through hotel visibility of outdoor setting from room, lobb and eating areas. serene Cheerful front desk staff - Douglas, Alexzandria, & Madeleine. Pleasant housekeeping staff and Restaurant staff

Prices doubled when Reunion weekend began - but I was still glad to get a room -

It was too short to really judge.

Didn’t like walking from parking garage with no covered breezeway in the rain. Found dirty clothes from prior customers in bathroom in corner between sink and shower and under ottoman.
