I will be back!!!

My room was clean and very comfortable. The property took the cake with the outdoor patios. Loved every minute. I came down for coffee and I didn’t even have to pour my own cup. Everything was great!!!

Amazing, warm and comfortable, as well as delicious!

The staff communicated very well, I was able to check into my room with a code provided via text earlier than the specified check-in time. Breakfast was included and it was incredible, they have a chef that comes in and cooks breakfast, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well as home-made cookies and snacks are available at no charge pretty much any time. They have games available and outdoor areas complete with fireplace. The Grafton Lodge really was the highlight of my trip.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like.

Very peaceful and beautiful

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast every morning was delicious. The hummingbirds and butterflies were everywhere! The owners are very welcoming and attentive.

Lake Lure is car dependant and you can't really see the lake unless you are in a boat. There is a beach area for swimming.

Cute. Near to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Wonderful breakfasts, plus access to coffee, tea, chocolate, cookies during the day.

Friendly place, great location and amenities

Rich and Kim were delightful. They were flexible w breakfast time knowing we wanted to get an early start on The NC bicycle event we attended. Having the breakfast room available during the day was a plus as was the outdoor sitting areas.

Could use a variety of pillows as the ones provided were a bit hard . Mattress topper was a bit too mushy. Felt like I was sinking into a giant marsh mellow that made it hard to turn and get out of.

Our stay was wonderful and we will be back again to see the area in a different season!

We loved our stay at Grafton Lodge. Breakfast was fantastic and the company and conversation were great. As first-timers to the area, we loved the location! So close to trails and Lake Lure and Chimney Rock villages. Close to many dining locations. The room was well-equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The bed was comfortable with high-quality linens. The hosts were amicable and super helpful with advice and recommendations!

Very good.

Location was great for the various reasons we traveled to this particular area. The breakfasts were excellent. Each mornings' breakfast was appropriate for that days activities. Taste was excellent.

Not that I think it can be done, but in the particular room we were in, the orientation of the bed to the TV was not good. At home we do not have a TV in our bedroom but the only way to watch TV in this particular room was from the bed and as mentioned, the orientation was not conducive.

As my husband said the whole trip, it was awesome.

This place was gorgeous! we stayed in the cottage and we felt like we were at home! everything was phenomenal, the host were very sweet and helpful with any questions we had. The place was very tidy and they provided delicious breakfast every morning!

Can't wait to visit again

The breakfast was wonderful and the people were friendly. I love being in the mountains and being so close to the lake. The weather was beautiful. I loved sitting out on the private balcony. I also loved the coffee bar and home made cookies. Lovely, homey place.

Honestly everything was great. The only thing that was a little annoying (just to me) was the a/c unit in the room was making a small racket but I know that was probably because of the water it was putting off. My husband loves it cool so we had to have it on haha but other than that I have no complaints.

Perfect Getaway

Very cozy and comfortable bed and breakfast. The hosts are wonderful and very friendly people. The breakfasts are deliciously and freshly made every morning by the chef/owner. It's also pet friendly. I am definitely going back.
