Lobby coffee was terrible. Old Keurig that took 3 attempts to get coffee from and then it was tasteless.
There is no front desk for check in, you have to coordinate with one of the property managers. I thought the historic (old) character of the house would be charming, instead it was outdated (esp bathroom) and uncomfortable (namely the mattress).

the uniqueness of the Inn. Quiet, safe, and centrally located to what we needed.

Location was in historic district. Nice to have Fox’s Liar downstairs for evening entertainment/drink.
Room was nice size with comfortable bed and snacks/ water in room refrigerator. However, it felt a bit “tired”.

Friendly owner, good space with room and living room. Pub in basement of Inn. Easy walk to river and 6-10th St.
Highly popular bakery kitty corner to the Inn.
Inquire about best paths to walk at night, walking past on ramps and off ramps, probably not the best choice.
Know in advance if there will be live music till midnight.

There is no breakfast provided but there is a bar downstairs that was cool. The owners Chuck and Melinda were great. Melinda and her husband provided some great tips on local restaurants to check out. The room was beautiful, a little musty, like most older buildings but some air freshener would make it perfect. The bed was soft and comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Definitely plan on returning.
Not an issue with the property but the shared parking lot behind the building. The parking lot maintenance began blowing the parking lot at 6:15 am which is not the fault of the property owners but someone should address it because if we had not had an early night the evening before we would have been in a rotten mood this morning.

There was no breakfast provided but the bar in the basement was awesome and the staff there was very nice. The Inn was very cozy and felt like home.
The Wi-Fi kept going on and off but they were working on it other than that there were no problems.

Location is very to James Brown Center where we attended an event. Close enough to walk. The Fox's Lair is a bar in the basement which was a fun place with local band. We met the owners who made us feel welcome and were very friendly. While there are no restaurants in walking distance there are plenty a short drive away on Broad St. The building is an old house and is a work in progress but very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely check to see if a room is available if wee are in Augusta in the future.

The property is a neat old house turned in to a B&B (Bed and Bar). The basement is a lounge with a full bar and entertainment. We happened to be here for the comedy show. It had everything you need and was a really fun time. The stag were the most accommodating and very hospitable. We will def be back!!
Nothing. The place was great. Enjoyed it much more than a hotel.

Great place in Historic August, close to restaurants & the James Brown Arena.
We didn't realize that there is a bar in the basement that has live music until Midnight. It's great if you're into that, but if you're trying to get sleep prior to midnight it can be a bit challenging.

- good location and convenient parking. Quiet residential area
- Chuck, the owner, is very nice. Made me feel very welcomed. Happy to accomodate check-in time of my choosing, despite me being hours early. Chuck also made some restaurant suggestions that I thoroughly enjoyed. Chuck is well-traveled, interested in many things, a father of daughters- makes you feel very safe. The lady downstairs at the pub (co-owner?) is also very welcoming.
- the rooms are authentically Southern, so is the building. It‘s a true experience
- The Fox‘s Lair pub downstairs is fun. Cheap drinks, great music! Great for all (adult) ages. However, you can hear the pub upstairs from around 7PMish onwards (it was completely quiet at 10PM as Chuck had promised)! Just might have to consider if you have young children or are someone with an early bedtime
- Very comfortable bed, quiet- good to sleep
- Complementary water and snacks in the fridge
- Good size room
The only thing I didn‘t enjoy was that my room had two doors, and one of them felt less secure to me. It made me a little nervous at night for a break-in, which I gather has never occurred. There is also a security camera.
Also take note that the TV has only very restricted service, so bring a good book (the rooms have books if you forget). Good wifi though, so you could stream a movie.
Smaller bathroom- one person at a time.
