Great value for money and great food.

The breakfast which is included is excellent. Everything is fresh and beautifully presented. The location is quiet and near the river.

The location is in a residential neighborhood so aside from the on-premises restaurant there is not much nearby. It is a several minute walk from the nearest public transport route.

The staff and location was great

The single room had a community wash room like a hostel they stated the bathroom was shared with the other single room not with the floor of other rooms. The room was warm

Beautiful boutique hotel on the Salzach

The location of the boutique hotel is right by the Salzach river, and there are mountains both in front and behind: it could not be more idyllic. The room was very comfortable, with ample wardrobe space, writing-desk, wash-basin and thickly mattressed bed. The restaurant could be accessed easily from my room in the morning and the breakfast was beautifully presented and was in the continental style. Lukas, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming and even allowed me to practise my singing in a spare dining room! I had lunch and dinner in the restaurant on Saturday and the food was absolutely wonderful with classic Austrian dishes and excellent Stein beer. All of this made my first visit to Salzburg extra-special.

Coffee at breakfast is generally from a machine, but if requested, filter coffee can be provided.

Exceptional

The location of the hotel is lovely, it's on the river just south of the city centre. You can walk along the river into Salzburg in 30 mins and it is a lovely walk. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great with amazing local dishes.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but it wasn't a big problem.

Trully nice place to stay and explore the town.

We loved exceptional food offering at place, stuff kindness, free bike rental, generally cleen rooms and other places, cool vibe all arround, quiet area, nice garden.

Shared toilet and shower tub was a bit wierd an first sight, but they worked out more than fine for our stay. Squeaking door hinges. It was a bit hot under the roof level.

Very clean, friendly and efficient staff, centrally located, nice beer garden, adjacent to walking trails, all around great spot!

I wish there were more shared showers. Unfortunately, some guests took extended showers so the wait was longer than reasonable and made planning a bit difficult. Other than that, great place!

Truly Austrian experience

Comfy place, feels authentically Austrian. Super nice staff, awesome food (is it a hotel with restaurant, or restaurant with hotel?), clean and quiet.

Although not a big deal, the hot water took a long time to heat up on rush hours.

Best hotel and food!

Restaurant is delicious and convenient. Some of the best food on our entire vacation. Our compliments to the chef. Staff is extremely personable, kind, and accommodating. Parking is easy. A short and scenic 25-30 minute walk along the river and you are in the heart of downtown Salzburg. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Very enjoyable stay in this quiet, well run hotel.

A warm welcome and very efficiently run hotel in a lovely riverside location. 20 minute walk into the centre of the beautiful city of Salzburg. Breakfast and Dinner in the cozy dining room nicely prepared.

Wonderful experience, would stay here again!

Great location for the price right along the river. Quick walk into Old Town Salzburg. Loved the staff, they were all so helpful, especially Lukas who went above and beyond to look up trains for me and knew my coffee order before I even asked each day!

Very good

It was very clean and had lovely views of mountains. Rooms are small(ish) but are comfortable nonetheless. Its very convenient to have a restaurant on the ground floor. There is a parking lot right next to the guesthouse.

1. The staff seemed too busy and impatient to deal with us properly. 2. We knew this when we booked it but it's not exactly next to city centre and you would need taxis to get to central. But mountain views make up for it!

Excellent service in a beautiful location with fantastic food.

Beautiful place, incredible service and an amazing restaurant. We loved our stay and would absolutely return. The restaurant is clearly a local favourite and a must try.

The bedroom doors are not soundproofed therefore you can hear everything said in the corridors.

It was a lovely hotel with great location on the river and not far from public transportation.

It was a great place to stay, with great food and people. Very helpful staff, even when I asked for extra blanket in the middle of summer. They have free bicycles which is great to ride along the river path. They provided me a seat in the full restaurant even without reservations. I do suggest reservations as the food is great and the outdoor dining space delightful to watch the sunset from.

City break in Salzburg

Very friendly stuff, excellent breakfast, very cosy furnitured and in perfect location - 20 min by walk to the city center. For quests there are available city bikes and additional benefit is a free parking space. Really recommend for a stay in Salzburg.

Cozy guest house with free bicycles next to the river

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was small but comfortable. Delicious breakfast. I really enjoyed borrowing the free bicycles from the guest house. There are nice bicycle lanes next to the river. The hotel is located a bit away from the city center, but the area was quiet and picturesque. Good parking. You have an option of eating lunch/dinner at the property's restaurant or ordering drinks and enjoying them on the outside terrace.

The ceiling window did not have any dark blinds, so I woke up early from the morning light and struggled to fall asleep again.
