Clean room, great breakfast, nice safe neighborhood.
Didn’t have to worry about the car. Mike was very accommodating. I decided to stay longer and there was
no problems. Nice quiet place. I had a great night sleep.

It was all good. I come to the North woods to fish
most of the places up here are terrible. Old smelly or
if it’s new, way to expensive.

The property has a very musty and bleach smell.

We were greeted by a staff member who was very helpful and friendly. Check-in was fast and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were not rushed at check out.
There were no dislikes.

The team that works at the lodge was friendly and helpful if we found a need. They treated us as someone who was family. Thank you to Mary at the desk, Mike, who fixed a glitch in our TV and Mike's wife who cleaned.
Couldn't find anything I didn't like.

The coffee/breakfast should have been done and ready by 6am, like it is posted, not first setting up at 6 am. I get up early and didn't want to wake my friend trying to make coffee in the room.

The smell in the room was musty. Also, the bedding was fair. The rooms need to be updated.

The staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cereal , pastries and fruit. Good quality Honey crisp apples and bananas. Air conditioner wasn't obnoxiously loud. Bathroom was clean.
The furniture and hallway carpets are showing their age. I think this may have been a best Western in a past life.
3.0
Easy to find. Good parking. Close to other amenities. Attendant was pleasant and attentive.
Breakfast nook had very little quantity and variety.
Air conditioning did not take humidity out of air in room. Rug and bedding felt damp.

The location was great.
The carpet was filthy and not vacuumed. The bed covers were disgustingly dirty. The headboard mounted to the wall was covered with dust and dirt. The bathroom wasclean, however the showerhead was clogged and gross. I showed pictures to the staff the next morning and they said the room was filthy and agreed with my complaint. The next day I spoke to management and they just argued and said that the room was clean, even after I showed him pictures. That person said he would get back to me by 7 PM that night concerning some type of reimbursement. I never heard from him. I called the next day leaving a detailed message with my phone number about my experience there and ask them to get back to me, no one has returned my call. The charge was $289 for two nights in a town of about 1000 people. I have added the pictures of the showerhead and the tissue that I used to wipe off the top of the headboard before I Got into bed.

Problems with reservation. At 11:30 the keys to the room didn't work and nobody was at the desk.
