It was so mountain-ey! The beds and linens were amazing! The sunken living room surrounding a real fireplace was amazing! A great vibe in this place!
Maybe just no tv in the room, but with the surroundings who cares!

The property was beautifully maintained, on a running creek, with flower boxes everywhere. It was designed for guests to enjoy the large lobby, and upstairs game room, TV lounge and mountain views. There was a colorful fire pit. Breakfast was homemade pastries and anything else you might want. Water and ice were available. We arrived early in the day and Alma suggested we visit the Targhee National Forest which we didn’t know about and enjoyed for its uncrowded beauty.

Interesting place due to teepee central shared living room. Loved that there was a billiard table but it's upstairs right next to a low railing so a little scary. One step backwards could be dangerous. Area upstairs dusty and room pretty rustic but the bed was comfortable. Nice people welcomed us.
That billiard table was in dangerous spot upstairs a step away from low railing.

We loved the quaint way the rooms were set up around a central common area. It encouraged group conversation around the fire which was very pleasant. The hosts were very kind and everything for a comfortable stay was provided, including marshmallow skewers! Thanks so much for a great place to unwind on a long road trip. Would definately stay again.
No negatives.

An extrordinary unique hotel. Beautiful interior, wonderful staff. The room is small but who wants to stay in the room with the beautiful gathering areas!

The concept was nice, however that was it! A bare bones, no frills lodge!
Where to begin......NO TV or A/C in the room. We were provided a fan to use to cool the room. Did not like to step down into the room and doorway was very narrow and hard to transport luggage in and out of the room. Communal vacations are not in our repertoire. No desk inside the room for computers (however were available in the main communal area) and bathroom counter was very small and located outside the bathroom with minimal counter space. Also, breakfast was minimal, not alot of choices.

It's a very cozy location! The price was also fair. We have friends that live on State Line Road, and it was perfect place for us to stay!

The owners are great. The lodge has retained its 70's ski lodge vibe in the public areas. The rooms have been renovated and are nicely appointed like a boutique hotel.

The whole thing was impression, the staff exceptional, ands the muffins to and bread awesome. The ambience was the best I’ve ever had. For my husband and I, it was a little pricey, however, compared to the surrounding prices it was worth every penny. The view out the upstairs balcony seeing the Tetons was beautiful! Now if I could only get her blueberry muffin recipe!

The breakfast was fine, considering what you are usually getting these days for breakfast: fresh fruit and fresh baked muffin or banana bread, I would have preferred hot eggs to hard boiled but... coffee was decent; the high point of it was eating it in this magnificent teepee room with a hot fire and charming hosts.
I chose a twin bed room to save a little money, it was okay but not that confortable, i do not know how are the other rooms.
