Cleanliness and tons of towels. Bed was very comfy.'
The TV did not have local channels.... only "streaming." We REALLY wanted to watch our TV programs in the evenings and could not find them. A "step-stool" is needed in the kitchen in order to reach the second shelves in the cupboards to prevent me from climbing on the counters! ! ! ! A box of kleenex should be a given. An outdoor garbage bin certainly would have been helpful.

very quiet, comfortable and accommodating… truly a respite …close to the ocean and to the creek…restful…tastefully decorated but not overdone so it felt like “ home”

The house is fine. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable A+.
The location is at the end of a street so it is very quite.
The size of the house is good.
Kitchen is okay; except as noted below.
The bathroom with the show is very good. The shower works well and there is enough space.
Having a washer and dryer is a nice touch.
Previous comments about lack of blankets has been addressed. They now have plenty.
A long way from Canon Beach. We expected to be able to walk, but it is about a 15 minute drive. You can walk to a less scenic beach, but it is still several minutes on foot.
The master bed was great, but the twins in the second bedroom are bad; D rating.
There are not two baths - the master bedroom has a tub sitting in the middle of it and toilet against one wall - very odd. So yes, there are two toilets, but very uncomfortable to use when its out in the open like that.
There is no iron in the house so if you need to iron clothes, bring your own.
The kitchen has a coffee maker, there was some coffee and sugar in the room, but no creamer. Odd. Also the finish on the kitchen cabinet doors is peeling badly. Looks bad and disappointing at this price point.
Don't expect much from the yard and outside areas - they are clutter free and okay, but not someplace you'll want to spend time.

We liked that the beach house is on a dead end street. The walk to the beach was easy and enjoyable. A very quiet and restful experience.
There was dog hair on and in our bed.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable time. The place was cozy, quiet and clean. It’s also nicely located to get in that morning walk to the freshly made and really good bakery. Then when you get back it’s so nice to sit by the fire with tea and pastries.
The primary lock box didn’t work well and had to call for the emergency lockbox.
The wife missed having a hair drier.
It’d be handy to have a simple hints to operate the TV.
And if you’re a tea drinker bring you own tea kettle and pot.

Loved the huge fenced yard. Enjoyed the creative way the owners have made use of space.
The queen bed was uncomfortable.

the location was down a quiet lane with very little traffic. The yard was totally fenced so our dog was able to be outside exploring. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living areas were open and homey.
the gas fireplace didn't work and we had trouble finding the thermostat. It would have been helpful to have a note , perhaps by the permits on the kitchen cupboard, that told how to adjust the heat.
The cleaning fee was stiff for a one night stay, I don't remember seeing it mentioned until I was confirmming the booking and costs. For a family staying a week or so, its a fair amount, but we were only there one night and didn't use the kitchen so it was high for us.
