Cabin is wonderfully located, very peaceful and cozy, dog loved it too!
My husband banged his head upstairs a few times on the beams.
3.5 / 5.0
The location was lovely, surrounded by streams on two sides (the driveway has a small wooden bridge). The covered porch at the front was convenient & the back patio was pleasant & relaxing. The surrounding area is lush with green plants & trees. There are other houses in the area, but it still felt private.
Having the option of using the woodburning fireplace was nice as well. There is a microwave, stove/oven, & fridge/freezer stocked with ice.
If you're traveling with a dog, this property seems well suited & geared towards dogs (there are leashes, dog bowls, toys, gates/fences, dog-themed art, etc.). The property is right off of two streams & the ground is a bit soggy/muddy, so be prepared to wipe some paws.
The bed was comfortable & there were a nice amount of power outlets throughout the bedroom & cabin. The covered parking for one car was convenient. There was also an axe for chopping wood, which we used. The games & books kept us occupied while waiting out the rain storms.
Overall, I would stay here again.
The ceilings & doorways in this cabin are VERY low. If you or your companions are over 6 feet tall, beware. My boyfriend is almost 6'4" tall, & he had to duck constantly & hit his head multiple times, especially on the bathroom doorway. The ceiling in the shower is especially low. I'm 5'5", & the shower ceiling was only a few inches above my head. If you're under 6 feet tall, you'll probably be fine, but I wanted to warn people who are taller to be cautious.
Also note that there is no door to the loft bedroom area, so if you stay with 4 people, privacy will be limited. The stairs up to the loft are steep & narrow, & the step up into the loft bedroom is pretty tall. If you have mobility issues, this might be an issue.
The wifi wasn't working at first, but we were able to fix it by unplugging the router. It seemed like the only working heater was in the bathroom. We stayed at the beginning of May, so it got pretty cold at night. We used the fireplace the 2nd night, which helped.
This is a property managed by Vacasa, & they didn't respond to messages sent through Booking.com. I called the phone number listed & they gave me the Vacasa confirmation number, so I was able to connect with them after that through the Vacasa app.

So beautiful! And I loved the layout and cozyness. Great fenced area and it was amazing to fall asleep listening to the stream. Great location, private because of the trees and stream. The washer and dryer were also a plus for us!!
There's an odd blood splatter looking situation on the shade in the bathroom, the tub barely trickled out hot water and then the drain was leaking so we couldn't take a bath.. the jets looked sketch so I wouldn't use them. One light in the kitchen was out. Also super weird... there was a shrimp casserole or something left out behind the tree in the fenced area of the yard???

Great cabin. Had everything we needed & nice to be next to creek.
