The price and being able to park in front of my room so I don’t have to walk very far because I’m handicapped
The last few times we’ve stayed here we have not been able to park In any of the spots in the row where our room was. We had to park down by the lobby. There isn’t any Kleenex in the room and the toilet paper is soooo thin it’s ridiculous. I guess you get what you pay for.

Clean and well kept up. Close in enough to other things in town but not so close to be both crowded and expensive.
A box of tissue would be nice.

My room was very clean. They provided actual ground coffee and filters to make a good pot of coffee. The bed was firm and comfortable.
Not enough electrical outlets, light switch on wall is in an inconvenient position , bathroom door hits bed and only partially opens, caulking and paint peeling in the bathroom. Very much in need of refreshing.

She let me check in early.
No problem. ⁸

Very clean, well stocked no-frills hotel room. GREAT location, near the interstate and right next to a MAX line. Coffee shop around the corner, brewery across the street, the neighborhood in general had a friendly vibe. There were some drug addicts hanging out by the Fred Meyer down Interstate Avenue, but it is convenient to have a Fred Meyer half a mile away.
The air conditioner was rather loud and rattled a lot.

Great, clean little motel in a good location close to attractions and on the max line! Very friendly staff/owners. This is our go to place to stay when we visit Portland!

Location was steps away from metro. 2 grocery stores, a coffee shop and a cute little brewery 5 min walk away.

This was a VERY CLEAN, QUAINT, SMELLED SO FRESH AND GREAT LOCATION to everything.
I am actually a high maintenance person and I felt everything I could have wanted was right there when I needed it already and didn’t need to ask for anything!
We have stayed at several motels in the Portland area and this non smoking room was TRULY A NON SMOKING ROOM. Every other place I stayed at it was always a hint of smoke smell to freshly smoking, not this place. Truly this is the motel for us.
I noticed someone made the comment they didn’t know why their key card didn’t work, it’s because the demagnetized so easily as did ours too, just FYI this happens at ALL THE MOTELS!
Please consider this your final motel for your Portland stay, it’s definitely going to be ours.
This family owned business is ran by the owners who are on site and truly take care of this place with so much love!
NOTHING… WAIT, I THINK THEY SHOULD TAKE A PICTURE OF THIER PLACE AND HAVE POSTCARDS MADE AND SELL WITH STAMPS!
You could take a photo and print at Walgreens for 39cents and sell for $3 a postcard !
NOTHING THEY COUKD IMPROVE ON…

It was convenient for my purpose in Portland. It was very clean and comfy. Onsite parking. Cable. The lite rail was right out the door which was perfect for me.
Their ice machine was broken. The towels were pretty rough. The restaurants within walking distance wasn't that great...

Old decor, springy bed, but semi-comfortable.

The bathroom was cold

The bathroom door wouldn't close.

Ive stayed here several times. I like the old style motor inns. Located on the Max line or a short drive to downtown. Great value.
The mattresses are adequate but should be next for their upgrading.

Pretty clean even though it's old. I like free parking, and the location is close to I-5
The bed wasn't comfortable, the pillows are so thin and need replacement.
