The location was the best thing.
I'm calling the corporate office to see if I can get some of my money back. The place wasn't clean and I saw a roach.

clean, key card needed for access to outside doors and room, close to the highway, grocery store, lots of restaurants and a planet fitness.
fire alarm/smoke detectors randomly went off. mostly during the morning hours but once at night. also the one in my room was right over my bed. it blinks all night and was pretty distracting.

The fire alarm went off a total of 3 times during our stay. There was also a lot of talk of a “crazy” man running around the building. There was also a lot of loud banging outside my door around 3am. Not fun.

The only thing that was remotely exeptable was the the location for the reason i was there but was extremely disappointed from the moment i arrived.
Didnt like that it was more like an apt complex than hotel or lodge. It was very obvious that there were permant residence that lived there. Rooms were not clean. phones in nrooms didnt work and heater in one of the rooms didnt work and took 2 days to get fixed was only there for 5 days. Will never stay again and will make sure my family stays away

Check in young lady I believe her name was Kia was very nice and courteous
Check in time was 3 pm I arrived at 5pm and my room still wasn't clean until about 6. After midnight the fire alarm went off in the room I checked the halls no activity it finally went off. Then again around 1:45 am the fire alarm went off again and again I guess false alarm. Then at 1:57 am some random person banged on my door. I looked through the peephole didn't see anyone. I laid back down and they banded again. I didn't go back to look. Needless to say I didn't rest well at all and I had an important engagement that morning. Went tired and grumpy. I won't be returning. I would like a refund or free stay somewhere else for all that inconvenience. Denise Clark Wright email address [email protected].

I didn’t like anything.
My stay with family in this place was horrible. Day 1 we was told where our room was located and informed that the front desk workers lives on the property and if anything was needed such as forgetting a room key and being locked out we could call them. Day 2 of our stay the fire alarm was set off. We all was woken up out of our sleep at 6am, just as anyone else would do we got up and headed out the room to the nearest staircase to exit the building. Not many residents came out of their rooms including the on-site staff. We was unsure if it was safe to return into our room there also wasn’t a fire marshal that came out to clear the building for a safe entry. Later that day the elevator stopped working I was informed that it will not be repaired until the next day. On day 4 the alarm was set off again early morning at 6:45. My family and I does the the same thing again with the normal routine of going outdoors hoping someone such as a worker or a fire marshal will clear the building for safe passage, but no one did. We re-entered the the building. I spoke to the general manager that day expressing concern and she wasn’t empathetic I have multiple medical conditions one being a breathing problem, going up and down stairs forced me to have to use my inhaler. Later that day the elevator stopped working again therefore anytime I had to come out of my room to go out with my family the steps had to be used. I broke down in tears because taking the steps so much throughout the day was becoming overwhelming. I also was frustrated because I was afraid of when the alarm goes off if it was anything serious how would my family and I know. The elevator has not worked since day 4 it was now day 7 the alarm sounded off again this time by a worker the fire marshal came only because the general manager had found someone deceased in their room. Day 8 the elevator was back to working. Day 9 we’re leaving the elevator stopped working and we had to carry all luggage down the staircase.

The towels appeared clean and not scratchy, bed and linen appeared clean, and the toilet was clean. The sink was stained but, could be cleaned better with a little bleach. Water was hot and pressure was good.
First, I had to sign 4 different disclosures and warnings to finish the check in process. Some were just "don't disable the fire alarm" and "Can't refuse housekeeping." Really? It didn't appear housekeeping was a priority when the room was empty. Now that I'm checking in, I have to sign something telling me I can't refuse? Also, one of the disclaimers seemed to indicate that the staff could come in my room at anytime and ransack it, but could not be held liable for any theft. Really? Those should have been disclosed during the reservation process. There were areas of the room which clearly, did not get wiped or sanitized during turnover. Also, there were visible signs of wear and tear on the furniture and the room as a hole (paint unfinished here, paint splashes, holes in door, mold around bathroom fixtures, dirty walls, dirty refrigerator, etc). Also, there appeared to be a high amount of outdoor loitering and traffic by other tenants. Even though I asked for a non-smoking room, I had to walk through many clouds of smoke by other tenants gathering and smoking near the exits and entrances. These additional "disclosures" should be reserved for the longer term weekly tenants as I'm sure there was a purpose for them (in retrospect). No investment in common space for people to gather or socialize.
