Picturesque location, good amenities
The front desk phone went to voicemail every time we called. Out of four separate phone messages left for various requests, only one call was returned.

The location is very nice . The front desk staff is excellent.
I didn’t feel like we got the value for what we paid for our stay. There were a number of issues including not being able to log into the TV, a very poor internet connection, loose base on the toilet, and light in the bathroom that was blinking and appeared to be about to go out. Perhaps a quality check could be done before a new guest checks in since there is a six hour window between the 10am check in and the 4pm checkout.

Condo was clean and comfortable. Staff were super nice.
We had no hot water for the first day. Then couldn't get the tap turned off, our last day. Finally, ice maker would never make ice.
3.5
The grounds/common area was great! There was a nice hill for the kids to sled down. The pool area was extra special! The restaurant was closed the week that we were there due to a storm that came through the week before, so we didn't get to eat there.
The one bedroom units were dated. Some things had been replaced/remodeled, but mostly 1980's vibe. My shower had a broken handle and one of the bathroom sinks was clogged. Since there were 2 sinks I didn't complain. I just used the other one. Ice in the icemaker was dirty when I got there, but I assumed that was from the weather the week before. I understand things happen when pipes freeze up and there are a lot of units to check. I just dumped what was in there and let it cycle through. It was really disappointing that the only restaurant on the property was closed, as we were planning on that being our "go to" place for the week. But again I understand that things happen when the weather throws you a curve ball. The property provides free sleds for the kids, but they didn't ever seem to have more than 3, and those were quite used, broken, cracked. Somehow the kids made due and managed to have fun. They rarely get to see snow so they appreciated what they got to experience of it.

Very Comfortable in Great Location. Staff Was Extremely Awesome...
Restaurant Was To Busy To Visit. Couldn't Get A Seat.
3.5
easy to enter and exit
condo needed updating ….carpet was dirty….unit advertised with a fireplace but fireplace was inoperable …not worth the money

Liked the layout. I was the only one staying there, but entertained friends staying in another hotel there for dinner or wine and appetizers. That unit would be good for a family get together too.
4.5
good view, convenient, cozy
This is a nice condo but has fairly steep stairs.

Electrical issues with sockets and malfunctioning lights in one of the bedrooms.

Beautiful setting and views; Timberlake’s very good; shooting preserve quite good with friendly staff; grounds well-maintained
The construction noise in unit next door; poor TV service; unit decor dated

Everything! This is our second time at Chetola and we will return!

Attractive property with a lake, indoor pool, sauna , and an ok fitness center
Condos are clean but outdated. the sliding glass door had vertical blinds and every time we opened them a single blind fell off.

Great location and atmosphere, beautiful grounds
There were very hard pillows on the master room bed, but luckily there were soft alternatives in the closet. , The balcony slider lock did not work so we couldn't feel very secure leaving anything valuable in the room during the day. The Thermostat was locked at 72 degrees and one night the master bedroom was too hot. We tried to call the Chetola customer service number listed online multiple times and no one answered so we suffered through a hot night. The rest of the stay we had to leave the master bedroom door open at night to get proper air flow, not ideal as we were traveling with kids and other family members.
4.5
Lack of items we usually have at chetola such as shampoo, blow dryer. Limited towels.

No breakfast meal
Could not get a reservation in dining room.

Location and grounds were wonderful, well kept, easy to access shopping. Beautiful lake. Quiet, lovely.
Dirty room. Old fixtures, furniture, just ratty.
Bed had deep dents where others had slept.
No good.

No complaints

Everything, the nature view plus the water in the middle.

Fishing was good. Staff was friendly
AWUpon arrival there was curtain rods on the floor, drill and a mess on the floor. Maintenance and management did not communicate. We were to be compensated. When checking out there was no compensation. I had to ask for it. Our room had no cable we asked to have it fixed. No one showed up. Outlets didn't work. Condo was so outdated. The toilet wasn't completely attached. Pool wasn't heated. Whirlpool was being worked on. Basically it was an awful experience. I don't recommend this resort at all.

bed was hard and couch was shallow
