Room was very clean and well decorated. The bathroom was sparkling and appeared to be brand new in regard to fixtures, flooring and decor.

Very clean room with small bed and bathroom
We could hear the neighbors cough and sneeze and their conversation. Bed was soft but has huge dip on one side. Very small room but was fine for price.

Location was great! We could walk just about anywhere we wanted to go. It was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing.
Coming from Texas, we are used to sleeping with A/C, and here there wasn't any. We did find fans in the closet, but not the first night, so we had one night of difficult sleeping. But it was a wonderful stay.

Great location right next to the slopes, great cabin feel and has everything you need.
No staff on site during our stay. Shower is extremely small.

nothing. it was awesome. skiing sucked tho. icy conditions that day.

The young couple who now own and run the place are exceptional, caring and efficient. They offer smores by the fire nightly and have a cool dog. Great budget stay in an active resort town that is smack in the middle of it all. Walk to everything from here, the steakhouse, the bar(s), and the lifts.
Don’t expect it to be new and you won’t be disappointed. It’s an old motel and continues to be run mom and pop style, which deserves a heritage grant of some sort, and a badge of honor.

Had fun at an affordable price.
Loved the fireplace and provided wood & starter.
Shower was tight for a red blooded American man.

My husband and I loved our stay here. If you have back problems the bed might not be the best but it did the job for us. Everyone who works here is so kind and accommodating. We will be back! Thank you three bears:)

I loved the fact that it remains authentic. I’ve stayed in cabins 2,3,4 and 10. Unique and quaint cabins with access to basically the best restaurant (Texas Reds) shopping and skiing! Nice people run this place and they do a great job! Love staying here!

Cozy, spacious rooms, nice and welcoming staff, great location: copper lift just across the back road, main lift 6 minutes walking
The shower cabin is a too small

First, the place couldn't be accessible.
Red River is small and very easy to get around in, but this place makes what is easy that much easier.
Cabins are off the main drag enough not to hear traffic but only take a minute to access the road or sidewalk.
Layout and cleanliness of cabins are perfect, in my opinion, which is what this is.
My opinion.
I went to hike and enjoy the outdoors, and Red River is perfect for that goal.
The cabins allow easy access and it feels good not to deal with hallways and elevators.
Cabin.
Exactly.
This place is family owned, and that means a lot because I believe pride drives a person to work hard.
I felt welcomed and always felt they both husband and wife were genuine in our conversations.
I would highly recommend this location to bring family or just self to enjoy a relaxing vacation.
Hiking and skiing are easy to get to, and the surrounding scenery is amazing.
One thing I would just give a heads up is the shower as it is small.
Who selects a place to stay based on shower may need to reevaluate the purpose of a vacation. Just fyi.
The one thing I would "complain" about Red River is the price of food.
But it's in the mountains and actually I should be expectant of higher price.
But to make things a little easier, I suggest using the kitchen in the cabins. I cooked for myself multiple times and enjoyed it.

Original Cabin was connect to another and you could hear the other people. The Staff understood our concern and made immediate adjustments. Thank you so much to the team for making our weekend a good one.
Water pressure in Shower. Being a mountain town, water pressure is a little weak.

Showers are tiny lol!

Everything went very well. The apt was clean and plenty big for our stay. Access to everything in town was easy. Parking was very convenient. Beds were comfortable. Wood stove with wood provided at no extra charge was very nice on cool evenings. Would stay here again!
All was good.
