Very cozy, Leslie was there to great us when we arrived. The room was clean and cozy. We especially liked the fresh blueberry muffins and other snacks that where waiting for us.
no way to tun off the light in the refrigerator. We put a towel over it to make it dark in the room. :)

The room and house were beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Only stayed 1 night due to traveling for work but would stay again if I ever need to be in the area again.
That I wasn't able to stay longer.

Lesley was very accommodating. She left us a welcome bag in the room along with homemade muffins. It was a very cold weekend in NY & she brought up a space heater so we were comfortable. The whole place is decorated so cute. Down the street was the Heartbreak Hotel restaurant & bar for food.

The room was beautiful and so comfy, with a perfect small town inn feel and a lovely host, we loved our stay! Just across the st a bit is a great breakfast place called the breakfast club.

A lovely place. Our room was very spacious. We had a welcome pack of homemade muffins and a few other treats. There was a coffee machine with a wide slection of coffees and teas plus another wide selection of fruit teas.
Beautifully decorated in a "Shabby Chic" homely way with an extensive peaceful garden to relax in if needed.
The owners were lovely and very welcoming.
Would definitely go back again if the need arose. We were there for 2 nights for a wedding.

Beautifully appointed, clean, has nice details.
First floor can be noisy if you sleep early.

The property itself is gorgeous; plenty of space to walk around or just sit and enjoy nature. Bob and Lesley are incredibly gracious hosts who are happy to chat about local anything and their recommendations for food are fantastic! We booked the Willow Suite which has two beds and its own kitchen. The space was clean, welcoming, and exactly what we needed!
Personally, I had a hard time getting comfortable in bed, but your mileage may vary; my partner had no problem at all and he’s usually the pickier of the two of us.

Absolutely beautiful inn with wonderful hosts. My husband and I loved staying there and look forward to staying there again

Lesley made muffins, left kids a goodie bag( mix of candies and snack foods) loved the kureig ,and wine glasses. Was right across from my daughter, and granddaughter. Lots of homey touches! And, oh yes....a big old fashioned bathtub to soak in. Thank you!!
Possibly the outside, but, that was no biggie. Need warm weather to clean up the outside, and we went in April, "mud month" The town is trying to get back on it's feet. I think every year it will get more, and more charm. It reminded me of rural Vermont, which I love. All in all, a positive experience and look forward to visiting again.

I liked the art of Will Davies, the father of Leslie, one of the owners.

Hosts were very gracious and welcoming. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The homemade muffins were especially delightful!
As an older property, the building is not very soundproof. Nothing really that can be done about it, but important to know if guests find random voices/footsteps jarring.

Get what you pay for and this is well worth the money.

This stay exceeded our expectations so much as we are already planning our next stay. The host had fresh baked goods and a goodie bag for our children in the room upon arrival. I was elated by the style of the rooms, it has a vintage rustic vibe and very homey. The stay was incredible my only complaint is we didn't book a longer visit. I was there for a wedding at the barn down the road so it was the perfect location. I loved everything about the stay, this is the place to book if you are looking in that area. You will not be disappointed.
There was not anything to complain about. We were highly satisfied. You'd have to be crazy to make a complaint here. We will definitely be coming back. I would love the blueberry lemon cake recipe lol

The presence of the owners at the property make you feel at home. Historic house in a historic town. Extremely clean. Little touches make this place exceptional.
