The walk to downtown was exactly what we wanted. The main rooms and wine tasting area were beautiful.
Never have stayed at a hotel where you get no customer service unless you ring a bell or call them. I didn't mind the almost $700 I paid for 4 nights until our room was never serviced and we went without coffee for the coffee maker 2 mornings because no one bothered to clean the room or restock it which we didnt find out until returning late each night from visiting our granddaughters...when we left one morning a woman was cleaning the room across the hall so figured finally our room would get serviced but returned to it not being touched. Of course I could of called but it was late and for that kind of money should you really have to ask for customer service? Rooms were nice but knew when we walked in and found 2 pairs of ear plugs we might of made a big mistake. Restaurant two doors down is very noisy on weekends with late outdoor music and hearing every footstep from the rooms upstairs all hours of the night was not a pleasant experience. Opened our blinds on two very nice big windows was disappointing and useless because literally about 2 feet outside the windows was a large dirty wall so it felt like staying in a cave for 4 days as you see in my picture. Such a very beautiful area was disappointed not to be able to see anything. Of course not something they show in their pictures. I always love supporting small businesses but not this time unfortunately.

The location can't be beat, and the staff was absolutely lovely. We loved the wine tasting experience, as well. It was so nice drinking our wine in the beautiful lobby while we played cards and chatted. It was wonderful being such a short walk to the square, and it was very easy going in and out after hours. Also, everything--even the hallways and stairwell--smells fresh and clean, which is so appreciated!
In an ideal world, the rooms would have a little more character and feel more like the lobby, which is so beautiful.

The location was great!
If you want to sleep in, meaning after 8:30a.m., don’t stay here. Maid service started early both morning we stayed there. very frustrating….

The room was huge and very nice. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. The hotel was right on the square so a great location. It is next door to an Irish pub so we were able to order in!
Nothing! We had a great time and will be back!

The location was perfect for walking around to enjoy the lights and shopping as well as grabbing food and drinks. The hotel was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Our room was large and spacious and it was very quiet.
The beds were very uncomfortable. We had a double queen room so after the first night we switched to the other bed and it was no better. My husband and I both tossed and turned all night and woke up sore from wrestling with the bed all night.

Everytime a door shut in the building, our windows rattled. The floor in the bedroom wasn't safe. You had to leave door open & turn on fan IF you want to shower. My elderly parents & I stayed long enough to eat dinner & left. I wasted $250 on room that was not worth half of that. And, never even stayed for the entire stay. Wasted drive also, all the way from Alabama. It's sad because my family built a home in Dahlonega , many years ago & Loved it there.

No complaints.

Love the close proximity of downtown. Everything in walking distance.
A bit to high tech when it comes to the TV and thermostat. I’m sure 40 something’s have no issue, but this retired gal thinks it’s way too much trouble.

Had trouble with TV. Staff fixed issue right away, but it went out again. I unplugged TV and it rebooted.

Loved that the size of the room was above expectations. Modern for an old house. The room stayed cool all day/night long.
The bed could have had more padding. Could feel the internals in my back.

Did not know what to expect when we pulled up, the outside looked like a well kept house, but inside was super nice. Very well done, the rooms were excellent!
Closed down early and didn't have breakfast available. Had "delivery service breakfast" from outside vendor, but she called that morning to say she was not feeling well and would not be delivering.
