Absolutely incredible find

I loved every single thing about the apartment. It was complete with everything needed and the hosts were extremely available. Additionally, it was the perfect location for a female solo traveller as I felt extremely safe thanks to the shared entrance

If you are a light sleeper the street outside can be quite noisy early in the morning on weekdays

Maravillosa y espectacular estadía en Palermo

El departamento es estupendo, amplio y muy cómodo, habitaciones con vista al exterior, una terraza encantadora donde disfrutaba todos los días mi café, contemplando el paisaje y el movimiento de la ciudad. La cocina estupenda con todo lo indispensable para disfrutar de tu estancia. Pero lo que me robó el corazón, fue la calidez y cariño de los dueños de casa, Mónica y Fabio, pues no solo se limitaron a darme indicaciones del funcionamiento de cada artefacto, sino que tuvieron la delicadeza de regalarme unos exquisitos dulces sicilianos y un vino blanco de la región. Ha sido la estancia más significativa en mi viaje de mes y medio por Italia, y lo único que lamento es que el tiempo en Palermo pasó muy rápido.

Wonderful location, wonderful hosts

The apartment is lovely. It was close enough to walk almost everywhere. My hosts were kind and responsive (including when I accidentally rang their doorbell). There was a wonderful fresh fruit and vegetable stand directly below the apartment. I couldn’t have been in a better place

There was a bit of street traffic noise, but not too much

The best of Palermo hospitality!

Everything! The kindest hosts with great communication, a lovely spacious apartment with a small but charming terrace. Its in a good location, walkable to the old city and other neighbourhood. They provided us wine, fruit and water when we arrived. One of our favourite stays in Italy!

Para una excelente estadía

Su anfitrión, Andrea nos indicó el mejor medio de transporte para llegar al depto.Nos recibió Mónica (su mamá)con un vino, uvas, cafés y unos exquisitos bizcochos hechos por ella. Muy amablemente nos mostró las comodidades y nos dio información de todo tipo ,muy valiosa para recorrer Palermo. Todo queda muy cerca. El depto es cómodo, grande y muy limpio,con todo lo necesario para pasar una muy agradable estadía. Y antes de irnos Mónica nos preparó una bandeja de sus deliciosos bizcochos para el camino. Una genial!!!

Perfect apartment with wonderfully considerate hosts

The kind, charming and generous hosts greeted me with a complimentary bottle of wine, fruit and home-made pastries and offered a lot of helpful advice for my stay.The apartment was prettily furnished, immaculately clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and appliances (cooker, espresso machine etc.) and provided coffee, olive oil and other condiments, and cleaning supplies. The bathroom had a washing machine and complimentary detergent. The living room and bedroom are air-conditioned. The apartment is well-situated: close to several supermarkets, bakeries and fruit and vegetable stalls and just a ten-minute walk from the Capo market and the Teatro Massimo.

Everything was perfect.

Loved Palermo, would definitely go back.

Lovely apartment with all the comforts of home. Monica really helpful with suggestions of where to visit, etc. Great location 15 minute walk into the centre, lots of shops/bakeries nearby and 10 minutes away from the nearest station which goes directly to the airport.

I struggled to find the apartment, could well have been me though!

Magical

EXCEPTIONAL ! EXCEPTIONAL is THE word. Andrea and Monica, his mother, did welcome me on the evening of my arrival. It was around 20:00 after +/- 12:00 hours flight and trip, I was exhausted. A bottle of wine, coffee, 2 bottles of water, fruit and... typical Sicilian cakes - handmade by Monica - were waiting for me ! The apartment is beautifully decorated and one is fully at home: all what one needs is available to cook, to wash, and iron clothes. There was also shampoo, gel shower, bath towels + washing liquid. Just wonderful. A supermarket , a pizza maker are just around the corner. Lolli train station is 15 m walk: you can jump on the train at airport and get off at Lolli (35 min). Extremely practical, no traffic jam. The flat has a shared entrance with Monica and her husband's apartment but you are completely independent. The fact that they live there is definitely a plus in case you need help. For a person who travels alone like I do, this is reassuring. Once again, what absolutely needs to be underlined, is the warm welcome and reactivity. You will spend a magical stay. DO BOOK !

Would highly recommend.

It was very clean and well equipped, everything you needed in the kitchen and throughout to feel at home.The host Monica, was there to welcome us and provided good information about the apartment and getting around Palermo as well restaurant recommendations. She was very accommodating to all requests even storing our luggage, as our train wasn’t scheduled to leave until later in the afternoon. We appreciated upon check in to receive, water, coffee, wine and homemade Sicilian pastries! We also enjoyed the balcony, even tho the street below is quite busy, being up on the 6th floor we could still enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Great stay in Palermo

Adrian (the owner) met me and even allowed me to check in a bit earlier which was very good and which allowed me to enjoy the city more! The apartment was very cosy and very clean. I was even welcomed with some special sicilian candies and strawberries! Very good place to stay for several days!

Exceptional

The apartment was much larger than I expected. It's a great value. It was originally the grandmother's apartment with an independent entry. It's completly separate from the rest of the property and very private. It's on a busy street with grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, every thing you would need. It quiets down after 9:30 and is almost still by midnight. It's within walking distance of the historic city center and a short walk to the Lolli train station. The La Mantia family are very kind and generous. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is very cosy, clean and located in a very good area, very close to the city center. The owners are very friendly, polite and responsive to any questions and queries. I felt like home and for sure when I will visit Palermo again, I will return to this place! I totally recommend!

The apartment was located near shopping. Had nice views. Food prices were very reasonable and street fare even more so. There's a pizzeria next door. Was able to walk RT to Ballaro Mkt. The street action on the Avenue was fantastic. Gelato stands, sandwiches, veggie stands, bakeries and the supermarkets. Can't go wrong. Monica and Andrea said our house is your house and that's how we were treated. Very nice people.

Nothing to dislike.
