Great spot. Ana and Jose were very accommodating.
Thank you!

Firstly, it would be amiss not to say what charming and attentive hosts Jose and Ana are. Nothing was too much trouble and both displayed generosity on several occasions which was very appreciated. They really are a lovely couple. Our flight was delayed but Ana and Jose ensured they were there to greet us and very kindly had provided staples. We stayed as three families, with five children ranging from 9-17. The gardens which are secure and large in scope were ideal for the sporting activities and the children also decamped to the games room regularly to enjoy the pool table. In the summer the large gardens and seating areas under shade which were scattered about would be very welcome. The garden also has lovely fruit trees and chillies which we were encouraged to try. Inside the villa there is plenty of room and the karaoke machine came out on a nightly basis. The kitchen and outside eating area were very well equipped and a good communal space. Inside the villa, there are multiple items of art which were very interesting and also other artefacts which we moved out of the childrens reach. It is fair to say that the hot water at times was sporadic and not always warm enough. Unfortunately the weather was slightly cool on occasion which did make a difference in respect of the outside pool- however that is just bad luck. All in all a quirky, lovely and relaxed villa with very kind hosts- we would return again.

Everything went well Jose and Ana have been perfect hosts. The house is very comfy and very well equipped. We had a great time. If considering south Portugal for families or large group this is definitely a top choice

Ana was great in communicating before we arrived & responded to any questions we had within minutes. This was so reassuring & continued once we were in the property.
She & Jose were so kind in taking us to Tavira markets & supermarkets as we did not have a car, they organised wonderful seafood for us & Jose even cooked the delicious clams! Our last night they collected a roast pig take away for us & prepared all the trimmings to make it a very special meal.
We could not have wished for kinder hosts.
The property was very much a home from home & was so well equipped for cooking & entertaining. Great outdoor kitchen that was the hub, lovely big table that accommodated 12 of us, great BBQs & brilliant outdoor pizza oven that was a huge success. We are foodies & ate so well during our week there.
3 dishwashers made light work of the washing up!
We were 8 adults & 4 children ranging in age from 15 to 2 and we all enjoyed the pool, & lots of sports activities in the garden. The 2 year old loved the bouncy castle & there was plenty of shade for the not so sun lovers amongst us. It was wonderful to be able to pick oranges & plums & grapes.
The beach & Cabanas town are walkable but we found the local shops limited & expensive. Tavira is better for shopping with its food markets & big supermarkets.
All in all we had a great time & would definitely recommend this property.
Thank you Ana & Jose.

Location was wonderful / house was ideal for our large contingent / property amazing with our own orchard for fresh fruit everyday. Lastly, the hosts (Anna and Jose) enhanced what was already a wonderful experience - our own keg and fresh oysters on tap - beat that ? - not likely
