Good location
Some of the walls were dirty and not clean, and the floor was dirty as well due to my suitcase being placed on it. The kitchen drying rack and toilet water tank were missing. The staff sent me an email every day, and the last message mentioned that there were many things we needed to do ourselves. I didn’t realize that the room was on the 4th floor, which made it very difficult for me. We stayed for three days, but coffee was only provided for two days. One of the chairs had a stain on it, making it very uncomfortable.

Location, location, location. With the window open, one feels like they’re in the middle of French café life. Arles is a very walkable city and apartment is centrally located.
To get to Bernice, one had to climb 48 steps in a tight, spiral staircase. To get to the bedroom, one had to climb a 13 step ladder. None of that is bad if one is 24 or 44, but at 74 I found it a challenge. Especially with a suitcase. All I suggest is that the stair information is listed somewhere before hand. Other than that, this would be a perfect 10.

In the middle of a friendly community. Close to laundrette and the Cafe Van Gogh! You can cook in the apartment, there are plenty of shops nearby!
The only problem was the small space around the toilet, as I am quite large.

Very good location close to supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment is nice and with a small but well equipped kitchen.
This was the second time I was staying at this house, sadly the heating was broken (the plug of the electrical heating in the living room was totally broken and showed clear signs of a shortcut) and despite contacting the host on the first day about it nobody came to fix it during my stay (five days).

The location of the apartment is superb, right in the heart of the old town. Arles is a city worthy of an extended stay, rich in history, and full of cultural and landscape attractions. It is worth spending time there, although not necessarily in this apartment.

Hosts: Mr. Kevin, the owner, was out of reach during our stay. His phone was presented on booking.com as the contact, although it appeared on the answering machine only, which never answered any demand for the contact. Mrs. Marie Claire presented on booking.com as the co-owner, presented herself as the cleaning woman only, without any decisive power.
Equipment: the description of the object declares an air conditioner and a fan in it. The air conditioner was very noisy and not efficient; the fan was not present. It was provided after two days on our demand, the air conditioner needed filtering system exchange, what according to Marie Claire should appear next day. This didn't appear at all, although the air conditioner appeared to be completely dead a few hours later. The service man was expected to appear two days after our departure. The studio was not equipped with an electric kettle, and the suggestion by M.C. to use the micro way oven instead was rather an eccentric one. The wash basin faucet was out of order for the whole period, although was reported to M.C.
Other: the only way to reach the studio is the very narrow (circa 65 cm) circular steep iron staircase, not mentioned in the description. It would be quite impossible for not quite efficient persons, not to mention some disabilities cases.
Conclusion: visit Arles, it is worth it. Be careful with some apartments. Nice localization only is not enough for a nice stay.

location, air con and management/ help
very tight stairs, old coffee machine, no kettle to make tea, mezzanine ‘shelf’ bed was not mentioned- I would have preferred to have more hight/ space instead

Great location and airconditioning
What I saw through pictures and the room is a bit different.
And stair is too narrow to carry my luggage
3.5 / 5.0
The studio is in a great location and is well-maintained. It is very clean and everything works well -shower and a great hair dryer, kitchenette. The air con is a welcome addition in hot weather, but will need to be switched off at night as it can be a little noisy. The sweet apartment-studio overlooks a lovely square, but it's not at all noisy and just adds to the charm. The only real downside is the bed, which may be a sofa-bed since the apt is 'bijou' and, as a result, isn't very comfortable; if you are out all day and evening, then it is nice to come home to a comfortable bed and with a lovely light duvet. However, it was clean and the apartment has everything you would want from a bijou base. And it's incredible value for money.
A more comfortable bed would be a bonus. Air con can be noisy at times; it can be turned off of course, but when it is unseasonably hot, then its very much needed at night.

great location, friendly staff, good view and nice wine as a gift
the stairs to get to the apartment and inside of the apartment. they were narrow and somewhat unsafe. not everyone can use this stairs and I feel that this should be more clear in the apartment’s page

The view was incredible worth the small space, the lighting from the windows on the square both day and night was magical - I wish I was a painter or poet. Wonderful dinning within skipping distance and the train station very walkable. Don't bring a lot of luggage the stairs will be a challenge.
The stairs were somewhat difficult to navigate. Spiral staircase up two floors not for the faint of heart. But the climb was rewarded by the view!

Nice location
Cozy apartment
I didn't have an issue but just a caution to people who are traveling with big luggage. There is no lift and the spiral staircase can be hard to go up.

Everything was good!
2.5 / 5.0
It’s a nice old apartment with a bit of a roof top view in a good location in the centre of Arles. The hosts also are communicative and wanted to make our arrival as easy as possible, which was very nice.
Short version: the place is overpriced for what is offered. And we were fuming when asked to take out our own trash at the end of our stay. We just came from a Camping site where this is standard, but here we also don’t pay 100€+ per night.
Long version:
- had to take out our own trash at the end (also makes us wonder how much cleaning effort goes into the rest)
- no parking in the near
- entrance via a busy restaurant
- tight spiral stairs for 4 flights which are quite tough with a suit case … especially going down
- see through bathroom door right next to the bed
- bathroom exhaust is a hole in the wall towards the bedroom (smells & fumes all go to where you sleep)
- air conditioning made loud cracking noises (besides normal humming) so that we had to turn it off for the night (it’s also just right above the heads when sleeping)
- steep wooden stairway to top floor of the apartment which also has a quite low ceiling
- old house where you hear the neighbours coming and leaving
For half the price the value is fair. Somebody got creative and somehow fitted a studio in a room that does not really support this idea. They somehow made it with lots of compromises, which deserves respect, but at the same time nowhere near 100€+

Great location, peaceful space.
Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, cafes, museums and galleries, all nearby.
Wonderful host, thank you for the lovely bottle of rosé.
All in all, a great place to stay!
The air-conditioner needs a bit of service/repair.
As a general suggestion, adding a toaster, water cooker and tea pot would make this apartment even more excellent than it already is.

Location was perfect.

The flat is conveniently located and oversees a lovely little place. Its elevated position allows also for a great view over the surrounding rooftops. The flat is furthermore very clean and nicely furnished. In addition, I would like to give a shout-out to the hosts, who were very kind and accommodating.
The bathroom door is literally 30 cm from the bed and fulfils more of a symbolic function. So, you and your fellow traveller should be comfortable with a lack of privacy.
