The only thing that was good in this hotel, was the woman we saw when we were heading out. She was dressed in beige. We insisted that it wasn’t her fault
We booked a room at The King Hotel in Busan.
We arrived on the 17th between 3pm and 4pm. When we entered the hotel, nobody greeted us. One woman kept typing on her computer, and the man was on the phone. On the reservation, it was written twin beds… but when we arrived, she insisted that we booked a 3 person room… So we asked how are we going to manage since we were 4 girls… We were translating with “papago”, but she didn’t make a single effort understanding us..
We told ourselves that we could just go see the room and see if we could sort something out.
Once we got in the room, we could tell that it was cleaned very quickly (as you can see in the pictures). There were stains on the floor, the beds weren’t done, we could see hair everywhere, the bathroom was not clean at all… and so on… Then (who I think was the cleaning man) the man came in the room, just threw us the “mattress” on the floor, were we take off our shoes… Then he came with only 3 water bottles even though we were 4… Not a single word from him as well…
We looked further more into the room, we could tell that it wasn’t cleaned for about at least 2 weeks (dust, smell, stains even on the bed, …). So much for a 2 star hotel…
So after talking for a bit, we decided we couldn’t stay here… Once we got down, we wrote on “papago” (translating app) why we couldn’t stay, but unfortunately, it was not the same woman. She was very nice, and felt really sorry for us, we insisted that she had nothing to do with it..
It was kind of disappointing because we were planning on staying one more night than actually booked…
WE COULDN'T SPEND THE NIGHT THERE BECAUSE IT WAS SO DIRTY, THEY DID NOT OFFER AN ALTERNATIVE ROOM AND THEY REFUSE TO REIMBURSE US ! SHAMEFUL! On top of that, they offered to reimburse half of the amount if i take off my comment here. Is this legal?? Booking.com is aware of this and nothing is being done. I will not trust the comments anymore as i see hotels can try to manipulate comments.

good location
a little outdated - I booked for family suite that stated accommodated 9 people plus 1 child, but the suite only had 2 beds (1 king and 1 queen)- so it was misleading and we ended up booking another room to ensure we had enough beds for everyone.

There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom. We had to cover the vents in the floor and close the door. Other than that, all was good.
