Sehr schönes Hotel an guter Lage, ideal für ein paar Tage Auszeit in Lugano!

Wir waren schoon zum dritten Mal hier, und für uns ist die Lage einfach perfekt. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuss am See, beim Bahnhof Paradiso oder mit dem Auto auf der Autobahn. Die Zimmer (wir buchen immer Junior-Suiten) sind sehr geräumig und sehr bequem ausgestattet. Dank Klimaanlage haben wir himmlisch geschlafen. Was will man mehr?

Das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau, aber etwas mehr Kaffeebeutel für die Maschine auf dem Zimmer wäre nett, so dass man auch Nachmittags mal selbst einen Kaffee machen kann, wenn man vom Bummeln zurück kehrt.

A grand old hotel, but modern where it counts.

Room size very good, marble bathroom lovely, bedding perfect, breakfast magnificent. Given complimentary water and tonic. Staff very friendly helpful. View excellent.

Two rooms had a musty odor, curiously right next to one that wasn’t. Told to open door, but that had already been tried.

What was missing? NOTHING! And I am not related to anybody at the hotel. A superb experience!

Room was very comfortable, bed supportive. Marble updated bathroom was easy to use. Nice magnifying mirror. Linens replaced daily. Refrigerator good sized, and we were accorded free water and soft drinks. Balcony had wide view, and comfortable seating pads. TV placement and size fine. Pool good for actual swimming, but no shallow end, which didn’t bother me. Breakfast selection was amazing, and had choices for vegans and hearty eaters of all kinds. Might help to have designated smoking tables. Fast service at bar. Front desk staff extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. No question I and my family of 12, ages 18-87, would stay here again.

Facecloths seem to be unavailable in this and other hotels, ex Zurich.

Honestly, I wouldn’t stay here again. I don’t think it’s the best value for money as Hotel definitely needs some upgrade

All the staff will really really lovely. The breakfast was very beautiful set out and a lot of choices.

The location is quite far from the action but if you want someone be quieter this would be the place to be. The place is very old and need some renovations. Our bathroom door wouldn’t shut. Our sofa bed was broken not that we needed to use it. we like the food at the restaurant but the service at the actual restaurant of the hotel was not great at all. It took us a long time to be served. They kept ignoring us didn’t even ask us if we want to drinks. Thought that was awful.

Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit einem großen Balkon und großen Badezimmer.Ein sehr großer Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel . Zwei geräumige Lifte.

Clean room,4 star nice hotel,unli breakfast,has lift,bus stop in front of hotel

We have the best room nice balcony view with alps mountains and lake. We enjoy so much the free mini bar & unlimited delicious breakfast.All staff we encounter are very professional and nice.They provided daily housekeeping and its very clean .The bus stop is in front or back at the hotel going to Lugano Train Station. 5 mins walk to the lake. Wifi is okay, everyday they replenish the mini bar and toiletries . Room temperature has aircondistioning .

The bathtub hasn’t handle to get out its kind of dangerous for slippery but doesn’t bother us much but hopefully they will provide 1 day.

A most enjoyable and memorable stay in Lugano.

On arrival, we were upgraded by the friendly receptionist to a suite which was very comfortable with a balcony as well. Relaxing to have extra space as this was around the twentieth accommodation we had stayed in over thirty-five days. The bed most importantly was supremely comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained. Sufficient power points for all our devices. Warm shower. Complimentary water and soft drinks. One of our main objectives in Lugano was to enjoy the boat trips on the lake. The stop for this was a few minutes’ walk from the hotel with a tasty ice-cream outlet as well if we arrived early. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We ate three evening meals in the dining room. These were well prepared and staff were most attentive.

Everything was what we needed.

We enjoyed so much the Hotel installations and the staff. The breakfast was so good - in line with everything at the hotel - as well as the restaurant.

Very good hotel, immaculately clean, and both the hotel and garden area were very attractive and well cared for. 'Thank you' to the staff, who were all very welcoming, professional and helpful. Room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom and balcony. Excellent breakfast buffet, with lots of choices. Free parking in the hotel grounds is a big bonus. We would definitely be happy to book another stay at this hotel. 🤗
