Snídaně super, převážně sladká, personál ochotný, milý, vstřícný.
Lokalita pěkná, jen před hotelem menší pláž, ale dostačující, moře čisté.
Blízko do centra, pěkné město. Hotel pěkný, čistý. Vše ok.
málo zásuvek (museli jsme odpojit lampičku pro nabití mobilu), druhý jsme nabíjeli v koupelně

Less industrial food in the breakfast.

The view, it has a wonderful ocean view. It was within walking distance to the town. It was super clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice and helpful. It has free parking. It was was value for the money.
The town is an old quaint charming fishing village. But the town has a wonderful well equipped scuba diving shop.

Spacious room with a sea view. Close proximity to the beach, parking available for free. The hotel was quiet, mostly due to low season.
The balcony door/ window rather small.

It was a family run hotel so it had an intimacy about it meaning everyone got to know the staff and they got to know us the breakfast was good with delicious cappuccinos. We took a ride in a boat offered up by the hotel with the family to swim on the island across the way which was fun. Quiet and remote great swimming right outside the hotel and easy to get delicious food on foot. Went to the fisherman‘s area 10 minutes away by car which was also a nice place for a dinner under the lights by the water.
It seems most hotels it’s difficult to get laundry done in less than 48 hours so we went to the town and did it ourselves.

The hotel is right on the water. The staff is friendly and accomodating.
There is a large public piazza with lots of activity. Two places to eat, get coffee, gelato, and even granita.

We booked this hotel with the expectation that there will be a beachfront view as promised in the description. When we arrived, we saw that the view was blocked by tents set up at the square right in front of the hotel. The hotel staff who checked us in did not say anything. When we saw the tents, we went to ask the staff. He simply said: oh, the commune set it up and we are upset too, if you want to write a bad review, go ahead and do so, just mention that it is not our fault.
We just swallowed it and didn't say anything, even though we paid lots of money for the room. The tents were there for the whole three days we stayed. Because of the events, it could get quite loud at night (one night, the singing lasted well beyond midnight).
Then we needed laundry service, and asked the front desk how much it could cost, and she said about 5-10 euro. We then gave the laundry (less than 10 items in total) to the staff.
When we checked out, we were informed that the laundry cost 30 euro instead. When asked about why, they are like: oh, the external service charged us this much, so we had no choice.
We were quite upset by then and started to talk to them about all these issues. The manager then came out and started to argue with us. She kept asking what else they could have done and argued how none of this is their fault. Between the lines, it is almost as if we were the ones in the wrong. In the end, they gave us 50 euro back for the blocked view, but by that point, we were already fed up with their attitude.
Sure, none of this was your "fault", but you could have at least acknowledged the problems when they appeared and offered some solutions to mitigate the issues. You are in the hospitality business. You charge people quite some money, not only for the room but also for the service. So please at least have your customers in your considerations, rather than simply wave your hands when things go wrong.

Due to Corona and the season, it turned out that we were the only guests in the hotel. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. For breakfast, we got a freshly made ricotta cake, for instance. We had a little morning walk in the town which had more charme than we anticipated (originally, we decided for this place because cancellation would have been for free and it was close to Marzamemi). We wish the hosts good luck to master this crisis.
It's noticable that the charming hotel is slowly aging. That said, furniture and bed were comfortable and all facilities were well kept,
