Located at 5225 Collins Avenue in the South of Mid Beach directly on the beach this location is recognized for its intimacy, charm, and direct access to the beach. It is the perfect spot for singles or families, is safe and friendly. We are less than 3 miles to the center of South Beach. Local activities include delicious eateries, fine dining, tourist attractions and night life. The beach and boardwalk are just steps away from our pool area where we have two heated pools and hot tubs. HORA VACATION RENTALS manages many of the finest units at the Alexander. Apartment 1401 at The Alexander is a beautiful 1100 sq ft SIGNATURE OCEANFRONT SUITE on the 14th floor. Newly constructed in 2017, staying here you can expect:

3 bedrooms - King bed in master, 3 single twins in guest bedroom and 2 twins in 3rd guest bedroom. Twin beds can be put together to make a king double
Sofa opens to a single size flatbed for a child
Rollaway bed can be provided
2 bathrooms – the master bath has a separate stall shower and jacuzzi bathtub, guest bathroom has a stall shower

Private Poolside Cabana Available-
Our brand new upper-level poolside cabana is available to rent 10am - 8pm, during your stay. Our modern cabana features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, flat screen TV, refrigerator, full bathroom with waterfall shower (perfect for hot shower right after the beach!), lounge chairs for sunbathing, and panoramic views of the ocean. Property Amenities and Surrounding Area Activities-
Your rental includes exclusive use of entire apartment, use of fitness center, concierge and package service, bellhop, free Wi-Fi, cable TV expanded channels, valet parking (fees apply), gift shop, washer/dryer, heated swimming pool, hot tubs, pool & beach towels daily, lounges and umbrellas at pool. Pool and beach area has Tiki Bar as well as comfort food service. Room service also available as well as from Grub Hub, Uber Eats and most food delivery services. There is a public children's playground one block north with direct access from walkway behind our property. Resort offers for additional fees beach chair rentals and water sports. There is a salon and day spa located on the 4th floor. Local activities and attractions include water sports, bicycling, sailing, snorkeling, boating, deep sea fishing, parrot jungle, Seaquarium, Children's Museum, Theatre, Historic Art Deco district, Wynwood, and so much more. Conveniently located just minutes from South Beach and 20 minutes from the Miami International Airport, 15 minutes from the Port of Miami, Brickell and downtown business district. Golf courses and tennis courts nearby, glamorous night life entertainment, including LIV at the Fontainebleau Hotel, Eden Roc both only 8-9 blocks away, Lincoln Mall, Coconut Grove, the Bal Harbour Shoppe's, and Aventura Mall all minutes away. IMPORTANT INFORMATION- Our property has recently completed a $35 million renovation of the interior and exterior of the building. Both upper and lower pools, Tiki bar, restaurant, and mezzanine pool deck are now open and in full operation.

In the rare event that an unexpected emergency maintenance issue occurs before or during your stay, a unit will be assigned that is of equal or greater value to the unit reserved. This is not a common occurrence and rarely if ever occurs. If the dates you selected are not available, we may have other alternative units available at the same beachfront property -- please inquire.

The vacation rental folks are very organized, detailed and communicative. The property is exactly as listed. The view of the ocean and beach are phenomenal. The kitchen is a full kitchen and the master suite is excellent. The third bedroom is pretty small without windows and is probably best for a child or two. The pool and beach areas are great, location is good. No constructive feedback. Everything was excellent across the board. Probably will rent again.

This property is beautiful and located in a quite area in Miami Beach. There was a free trolley right outside the front entrance to take you to South Beach. I would stay here again.

Views were amazing. Room was clean and just as pictured. Check in process was hectic as they said they couldn’t find my information at first and you need to provide cc for towel/pool wrist bands. Everything else was great including the pool bar. Waiters were awesome! One pool wasn’t opened, but never felt crowded in the one. Would def recommend!!

We were 5 girls for a long wknd get away We thought it was a three bedroom apartment But it was like a one bedroom with a large closet that housed 2 twin beds without windows and no space to move in the room The other so called bedroom had no closet and was very small with three small beds And the living room had a small sofa with two seats For the price and description that it is a three bedroom apartment I thought it was a total misrepresentation We had a good time but felt cheated

Enjoyed the condo we were in, and of course the view! The Building looked like they were a couple of weeks out from finishing their rehab. The only thing that I would suggest is for the owner to maybe leave some sort of list for places to shop and eat. I’ve never been to Miami, and some suggestions would have been awesome. The condo was very clean and nice, and for the most part we enjoyed our stay.

The manager was great! The property is old, outdated and the people working there are terrible. Complete cluster. There is only one working elevator for all of the floors and there was a super long line to get on and off. The pool was cold and the hot tubs were disgusting. One was broken and the other stunk so much. I would not recommend this property.

Mark communicated quickly and was pleasant to deal with. Condo itself has the best location in the high rise and the only sunroom. Building is still under reno so there was construction noise during normal business hours. Pool staff and valets were friendly and efficient. The little market in the building was super convenient.

While the location was great, the continued construction and limited elevator availability was burdensome. We also had booked and paid for a 3 bedroom only to be told shortly before our trip that they had double booked us. While they moved us to a 2 bedroom and found a one bedroom on a different floor, it wasn’t what we had reserved and we had to pay for the one bedroom as well. We also had our door jam shut and fall off the hinges while we were there. Maintenance did come and fix it same day but it would have been nice to have that taken care of before our arrival. They also shut off usage of the trash chutes while we were there.
