In Saint Jean de Luz, renowned seaside resort on the Basque coast, 500m from the beach, near the covered market and all shops, large apartment of 130m2 completely renovated.
Located on the 3rd floor (equipped with an elevator) of a small Art Deco residence, the apartment consists of an entrance, a large living-dining area, a TV lounge, a separate kitchen , a bathroom, WC, two large bedrooms (overlooking an interior courtyard), a long balcony and upstairs, a mezzanine composed of a bedroom, a bathroom water with WC and living room (with convertible sofa).
In the basement, a cellar.
In addition, this apartment has just received an official 3 * classification by the accredited body ICH (Inspection Classification Hotel) which guarantees the tenant the quality of the accommodation and its equipment.

Lovely town, good location but misrepresented property details
Lovely town, good location but misrepresented property details
Spacious and stylish, close to shops and beach, but also right above a night-club with late hours and street noise. Third bedroom has very low beams. On arrival the bedroom floors were very dusty and sandy. We doubted whether they had been cleaned since the previous tenancy. Another problem is that the English website states 'linen provided' and we relied on this information when booking the property. A couple of weeks before our holiday the owner wrote to us to explain extra charges for bedlinen and towels. This was too late for us to find another property or get a refund as we had already paid the full balance. Our only alternative would have been to pay for extra hold luggage and bring our own sheets and towels so we were forced to pay the charge. For 6 people this represented a significant extra cost. The owner's defence was that the French website confirmed they had to be paid for. This is not fair trading as non French visitors cannot see this. We complained in writing to the owner as advised by Homeaway but he dismissed our complaint and refused to respond to further messages.

Conformément aux photos et commentaires, nous parlons ici d'un appartement de caractère, très agréable, idéalement situé dans le centre de Saint Jean de Luz, entre les halles et la gare. Quelques points d'attention : - 2 couchages sur 4 sont situés en mezzanine, comme expliqué dans le descriptif. Cela implique de se mouvoir sous des combles, ce qui n'est pas toujours commode, en particulier pour l'accès au lit. Lombalgiques s'abstenir. - la douche de la salle de bains sous les combles est elle même relativement exigue, comme me l'a fait remarqué mon fils, haut de 1,82 m - Nous recommandons de faire déplier le clic clac de la mezzanine avant emménagement, cela évitera toute mauvaise surprise. - Comme précisé , c'est au 3 étage et ça se monte à pied, avec les bagages, pour un an encore, après il y aura un ascenseur. - Il est possible de se garer gratuitement derrière la gare, à environ 300/400 mètres (c'est supposé être tranquille, nous y avons simplement constaté un matin le vol de nos essuies glace, rien de très grave) - L'immeuble est situé au dessus d'un pub, avec le bruit que cela implique les veilles de we et jour férié (sortie du pub entre 3 et 4h...) Bref, quelques petits désavantages/conseils qu'il faut intégrer au moment de votre choix, en vous souhaitant un bon séjour dans cette belle région qu'est le pays basque.

Excellent accueil et disponibilité pour toute question. Appartement fonctionnel et très agréable. Au troisième sans ascenseur cela fournit les séances sportives quotidiennes !!

appartement très correct mais défaut de compréhension pour le paiement de vos honoraires et le montant pour le propriétaire qui voulait un chèque .
