Towels were dingy in color probably because the water is brown. Outside temperature was over 110 degrees, the small air conditioner could not keep up

As soon as we got in the room, my wife started getting bit by something. We had opened the balcony door so we thought it was maybe mosquitoes or no-see-ums. We were only in the room for about an hour. We left to visit relatives and eat dinner. We were not bit at all while we were away from the hotel. Upon returning, the biting resumed, now both of us. We packed all of our bags and went to the front desk to request a refund. We were told that since it was after 4:00pm, they would not give us a refund, but would move us to another room in the infested hotel, which we declined. We had to drive 60 miles to find another hotel, which was cheaper and much nicer. The manager was very rude about the situation and lied about the bed bugs, saying they had never had they, even though we later found reviews stating they did indeed have bed bugs.

I like that it is a woman owned business. Room was cool, clean and comfortable, recently refurbished. Nice refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and blow-dryer. Breakfast was a kit for a bowl of hot oatmeal with nuts and cranberries and raisins, plus a little breakfast snack bar. Bed was very comfortable.
The room door safety latch looked like it had been recently repaired - could be done more professionally to give more feeling of security. The air conditioner was rather loud, but did a great job of cooling the room. The furniture could use a little cleaning.

I needed to wait 8 minutes outside of the lobby in 117°F for check in. All this time the receptionist was inside with door closed working on check in papers. We had breakfast included when we booked however the receptionist (?) mentioned that the breakfast is included only when booking directly with the hotel. He changed his mined and brought breakfast to our room next morning.

It cost a little more than I thought it should.

Nothing
It was loud, dirty, uncomfortable, the old A/C kicked in ALLLLL NIGHT LONG , it was so loud that it felt like there was a screen instead of a window .. just not good at all and for the price I would have thought it would be nicer

The Male Staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Front Door Lock was broken. Beds and room are old and needs remodelling. Breakfast Bar only for breakfast and stale coffee in the room.

a bit worn out expensive for the quality no breakfast and it was still $125
