House was nice & located within a few minutes to most activities. Very nice den with plenty of sitting for everyone. Deck and fenced backyard was nice area for dog. The jacuzzi was clean & very nice to sit in at end of day. The only little thing was the back shower wasn't working but, this did not ruin our stay. We would stay again without hesitation.

We stayed for two nights and treated this as a relaxing retreat. The cabin is nicely furnished, very clean, the beds are comfortable, plenty of clean towels, a nicely equipped kitchen, great hot tub. The only issue, which is not the owner’s fault, is that the water pressure in the showers is super low. Otherwise, a great stay!

This property is a perfect location for Mt. Access! We enjoy the quiet neighborhood of Moonstone! Communication with property management was excellent! We would highly recommend a family or couple to ck this property out!

My mom and I stayed at this property for a multi-day event that took place down the street. The house was well equipped and clean. They are clearly experienced with the needs of guests as there were extra amenities in all the areas where they might be needed. We were particularly pleased with the kitchen as it truly met all of our needs. As it turnes our we had to cook a very large meal to take to our event one night and weren't sure how we were going to pull it off. The house could clearly hold far more people than just us two but we loved having the ability to spread out and each have our own full bathroom. The checkin/out process was easy and clear. The touch pad lock was much appreciated, so easy. Thanks for a great stay, we'll be back next year and we hope this property will be available.

We enjoyed our stay. When we had questions the property manager got back to us right away.

Overall it was good. A few concerns though. Windows with broken locks, open windows that we couldn't shut & blinds we couldn't open. Dust. The usual surfaces are dusted but things like bathroom light fixtures, shutter door near back bathroom knickknacks/fireplace mantle, etc. I think it is just time for a deep clean & not just the quick turnover between guest clean. I tend to notice the excessive dust because it triggers my asthma so for most not an issue.

Excellent
This is a nice property. The bathrooms have been remodeled. The sheets and towels were like hotel. There is a newer hot tub on a very large deck. Large family room with a sectional sofa that was perfect fpe lounging and playing the Wii they had, old school memories. It was quiet and perfect for a week get away.

Perfect Getaway!
My husband and I LOVED staying here. It had everything we needed and then some. The home was very clean and kept us nice and warm. We didn't get to use the hot tub this time around, but we hope to return and enjoy it another time. We especially loved the location and the large family room was our favorite by far. Close to everything but far enough away to feel that it was a private, perfect sanctuary.

Well Located, Dirty Abode
The photos are old. Go in knowing you’re getting the basics, 2 furnished bedrooms, a kitchen, and 2 living/family rooms. However, they recently remodeled one of the bathrooms and I will admit it was nice despite the shower hot and cold options being reversed. Second, the layout is weird and the house is creepy. The back half of the house is an addition which was smart, but it wasn’t well executed. In the hall separating the two bedrooms, there’s ladder-stairs leading to a locked hatch in the roof. There’s a crack between the hatch door and the ceiling through which you can see stickers and decoration on the walls if you’re standing on the floor and looking up at the right angle. Pair that with the fact that you’d hear creaks from the “locked” attic, and the house is nestled between what appears to be 2 abandoned houses, and it was like we were living our own low budget version of Parasite. Third, the place is dirty. I mean DIRTY! Remnants of past visitors abound: spills on doors and door frames, the fireplace screen was full of grime, the ceiling fans and some of the lights are caked with dust, and there was lint or something on the floors. It was a mess, and I’d really like to know what the cleaning crew is doing for the astronomical per stay cleaning fee considering that in one of the communications they ask you to strip down the beds and place everything in a pile along with a host of other chores before you leave. Fourth, the hot tub was disgusting and low in water. It’s like they don’t check or clean the thing, and as something I was most looking forward to it was disappointing to use it once during our 3 night stay. It just felt like I was sitting in strangers' dirty bath water. YACK! So this brings me to my last and final issue, the communication with the management team. The ROKU to watch live TV did not work. We switched out batteries, we rebooted the system (as we were told to do) and still it did not work. They went from offering to send someone out to fix the issue (when it was convenient for them) to just dropping batteries off. It didn’t work. She did follow-up, but I never received a response to my text back informing that it still did not work. I sent an email requesting extended check out the evening before our scheduled departure and received a text at 7:50am declining because they needed time to clean for the next group. The text included a list of chores required of us. I did my best to make the most of our stay, and it's getting two stars because I like the location of the cabin in relation to everything else, but to you, fellow vacationer, I say there's better places that are less creepy so I suggest you RUN!!

Lovely and serene cabin!
We loved this cabin! Beautifully decorated and it was a wonderful deck and yard for pups (or kiddos). The cabin had all the right touches. Located in Moonridge, so you have peace and quiet, but you still have access to downtown and the trails. Jennifer, who manages the property, is very responsive (on a holiday weekend no less) and it was clear that her team took COVID-19 seriously. It was immaculately cleaned and had a very pleasant smell when we arrived. You can't go wrong with this beautiful mission-styled mountain retreat! I loved that the house was ranch-style. I have come to learn that one-level homes are much easier if you have dogs or kids. The layout is very well-appointed for family time!

Exactly what we were looking for
Just a short drive from the lake, my family and I arrived at this very cozy and warm place to stay. The house was well kept and we found everything we needed. This was exactly what we were looking for and more.

My family loves visiting the Big Bear area. We will continue to visit but will not be returning to this cabin without a few changes and a good deep cleaning of the house. Arrival at the cabin and check-in went smoothly and with great ease. Unfortunately, after parking and exiting our vehicle we were greeted with a bag of dog poop on the sidewalk leading to the front door. There was additional trash on the ground including a lighter, receipt, and plastic debris. The front fence was knocked over and the rear yard gate was only propped up and not fastened.Entering the cabin we were met with a stale musty smell and needed to open the windows and eventually purchase air freshener. The layout works and the house is big enough but the pictures aren't current. The pictures posted on the website appear to be the images from the home listing when the house was for sale in 2017. This unfortunately gives you the impression the house is nicer then it actually is.Additionally, the house was very grimy and it was evident it had not been thoroughly cleaned for sometime. There was pet hair on the area rugs and floor and long black hair throughout the house, on the floors, walls, and in the beds. The kitchen cabinets were in disarray and the pots, pans, and plates were still greasy and smelled of cooked oil. The kitchen was not stocked with condiments as stated and the tea kettle had stale, standing water in it and was dirty. As the kids were exploring the house they discovered the loft area where the ladder between the bedrooms led to. I checked out the loft prior to the kids and noticed the floor was covered in a layer of dust and the attic access was ajar and the board was placed on there backwards. This placement exposed the sharp end of about a dozen nails. Unfortunately, the kids were not allowed up there after that. Lastly, communication with Jen was lacking. We had to contact her due to the oven not working. Although she was professional her responses were slow and eventually didn't respond to my wife's last email. She tried to send a handyman over to fix the oven but we were gone and they couldn't get in. However, the next day Jen or someone else was able to get inside and place a gift certificate for pizza on the table. It was a nice jester but too little too late as we already had plans and were leaving the next day. The cabin has great potential but the pride of ownership and attention to detail isn't there. I do not recommend this cabin.

Could be a great cabin but is in need of a good deep cleaning and general home maintenance.

Great cabin close to town and the mountain
We had a great stay - everything was very easy from checking in to communicating with the management. The only complaint we had was the hot tub was not working, but after reaching out people were in contact with us quickly and it was fixed the next day!

Cute little house
I booked this house and worried it was too small for my three grown up kids and us (husband and I) but it wasn't. It was clean, cute and we loved the family room and hot tub. The property manager was very communicative so that was great. Overall it was a really good time.

Great little house. You don't have to bring hardly anything with you
The property was nice and very quiet & relaxing. cCose to everything. The only problem we had is with the bedroom TVs couldn't get the closed captioning off and they would flicker on and off other than that we had a great stay. We appreciated that they let us check out at 1 p.m. instead of 11 a.m.

Perfect for a small child
We had a great stay and would use this home again. There were a few issues that I reported to Jennifer who was very attentive.
So things you may need: Condiments, Tupperware, and foil. Pay attention to emails because the info book is not up to date.
Besides that everything worked as it said and the back patio was great. It being fenced in allowed my child to run around and have fun without us worrying about her. There was Netflix and Sling TV and the heat worked great at night.
The backroom had a door so we could close it to keep the little one from causing any trouble.
We would stay again!

This was a nice place but it felt dirty. What does cleaning crew do?
Manager's Response:
Jack, thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response:
"We thank you for staying with us and taking the time to leave us a review. It was nice to hear that you found our cabin nice. Guest feedback is very important to us. It is our chance to know how to make our cabin better for future guests. We are very sorry if the cleanliness was not up to your expectations. It was just a shame that this issue was not brought to our attention during your stay, given the constant communication we had with you prior, during and after your stay. We value our guests' comfort and if had we been given the chance, we could have corrected the issue immediately. We have already addressed this issue with our cleaning crew to make sure the cabin will be cleaned to the highest standards for future guests. Thank you and I hope you will give us a chance again in the future."
Best, the Evolve Team

Nice, relaxing, time!!
We had a lot of fun. They were honest about tv in front bedroom not really working, we appreciate it. The house was big and roomy. The guest book really helped. We went in the jacuzzi one day and it was perfect. Nice kitchen! And it was well prepared for us to make our meals. Plenty of heat too! A cabin feeling fireplace.

Spacious, lovely cabin home!
What a wonderful vacation in Big Bear for my Family! Jennifer was amazing and gained us early access on Friday and there were cookies waiting for us! She was very attentive and even checked in with us on Saturday to make sure everything was going smoothly for us! The cabin was more than big enough for the 5 of us! We definitely used the jacuzzi a lot especially after a long day of skiing and boarding. . .super cool! We also BBQed one night. . .all the necessities were there!
Very close to Big Bear, the Village and shopping! I wish we would have seen some new snow but the conditions on the mountain were good. Thank you Jennifer for making our Christmas a memorable one!

Clean, well appointed and spacious!
We have stayed at quite a few cabins in Big Bear, but Faith & Elle’s took the cake! It was extremely clean and free of any odors. It also has everything you would ever need - toiletries, pantry staples, plenty of cookware/dishes, tons of extra linens, extra pillows, games, a Nintendo wii, WiFi, the pre-heated jacuzzi, deck and the fenced backyard was awesome! The water pressure in the showers was great and got hot quick. It was a real bonus to have the washer and dryer - especially since there was lots of snow - which means wet kids clothes. The cabin didn’t feel like a rental - it really felt like you were staying in someone’s well stocked home. On top of all of that - the hosts left a kind thank you note along with a tin of Christmas cookies! The cabin was also decorated for Christmas which was so special for us and our kids. Beds were comfortable and the location is just about perfect!! It’s in a safe, treeed and well kept neighborhood that’s close to bear mountain, the zoo and just a short drive to the village. It had a great layout and felt really spacious. Additionally, the host Jennifer was kind enough to allow us to check out late upon request and had a great level of communication throughout our stay without being intrusive or over bearing. The overall experience was an absolute A++ - we will stay at this cabin again and highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking! We loved it!! ♥️

The cabin is great for a family gateway. Its clean and cozy.
My family and I stayed spend the Thanksgiving weekend and this cabin was perfect for the occasion. It had Christmas decorations, that made us feel at home. It was just a great place to stay. The location was great as well. If you are a fan of Big Bear, you know everywhere it is full of nature. Great cabin!

Perfect getaway for families
This home away from home was perfect! Clean and easy to find on a quiet street in Big Bear. Lots of extra blankets and pillows for your family during those cold winter nights. Tons of games as well as a Nintendo Wii to hookup. The hot tub was so nice at night. We cooked a couple times as well as ate in. We found all the cooking items we needed as well as rice which was awesome!
Easy check in instructions and quick communication with Jennifer when we needed it.
Would absolutely stay here again!
