About this house rental
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Splendor is a comfortable and attractive 1,600+ sq ft hacienda just a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach. The perfect location makes the affordable price all the more appealing, and this home is a favorite of fun seeking families and groups of up to 8 friends. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are in a layout that is cozy and optimal for socializing. The living room is bright, with comfy leather seating and a large flatscreen TV. The kitchen is large and modern, with granite countertops and island seating. The dining area looks out through French doors onto the pool area. Washer & dryer and wireless Internet are included. The master bedroom is plushly furnished, with a queen-size bed, rich hardwood floors, an attractive master bathroom, and French doors that open to the backyard. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third and fourth bedrooms are perfect for kids with 2 twin-size beds each. The second and third bedrooms also have flatscreen TVs. The backyard is delightful and relaxing with a tall fence that creates a very lovely, tranquil, and private space. The kidney-shaped pool is heated, there's a grassy play area, and lush palms create pockets of shade amid a tropical paradise. There's a furnished morning deck with a table and a shade umbrella, as well as several lounge chairs for the pool. Warm mornings and balmy nights can be enjoyed in peace and comfort. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the house to the beach and nearby attractions. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is one of South Florida's most romantic little beachfront towns, a sun-splashed gem with dozens of quaint restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The pier bustles with fishermen and sightseers and is a lovely place for early risers to watch the sun come up. The wreck of the SS Copenhagen is just offshore and is a popular historic dive site for scuba and snorkeling. There are outdoor events year round, including Friday Night Jazz on the Square. This is the perfect small town to soak up the tranquil South Florida vibe! House Rules: The responsible party will eSign a rental agreement, which includes filling out a list with the names and age of all occupants. Great house. Nice location, 10 min walk to beach with kids. About 30 min walk or $10 Uber to the pier with many restaurants and bars, very responsive management.

We had an awesome stay at this home and enjoyed the pool and location in a quiet residential neighborhood near the beach. It was great to have access to 2 bikes, but we would have liked more so we did not have to take turns sharing them. We would return and stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. Kids loved the pool. The house was clean. Kitchen was well furnished, everything we needed was there. Beach is within walking distance. Restaurant are a long walk (30-40 minutes), so if you don't have a car and like to go to restaurant, keep that in mind.
For us, it was not much of an issue. We like to walk.
Communication with the owner was very easy and we had quick response to our questions.
All in all, it's a great house in a quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed the area and Florida sunshine and weather. The home was not as clean as I prefer but the property manager did get cleaning staff back onsite. However I don’t believe they thought it wasn’t clean. They did things I asked out of politeness to accommodate.
The backyard pool area was beautiful. We had some issues with the pool heating up. They did call the pool guy and he cleaned out the filter.
Overall, we did have a great trip. It’s a safe, quiet neighborhood. The home could definitely use some updates and a good, deep cleaning.
The property manager was prompt to respond and accommodate us when needed.

We had a great week! The home is spacious and provided my teenagers with their own space at the end of our busy days. The kitchen and family room were great hang out spaces and the pool was an added bonus. The beds were comfortable and the home cooled nicely. The washing machine and dryer are full size. The kitchen had all that we needed. The showers had good water pressure.
The home is an 8 minute walk from the beach access, but we chose to drive 6 minutes north to pompano beach since it is august and crazy hot for walking. We also enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving by the closed pier at Lauderdale by the Sea. We made two day trips to Key Biscayne, one trip to kayak the mangroves, and one fishing excursion from Boynton Harbor. Everything was an easy drive. We would stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience staying here. With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of space for our family of 6 and the pool was a great addition to the experience. We took a short walk to the beach and had a great time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood.

Lars & Sebastian were great to work with. They took care of 2 small issues asap. Great property and location. A short Walk to the beach and only 1 mile to the downtown area. I would recommend a stay here.

Place was very nice. Well maintained except for the fact that the hallway bathroom door knob needs to be repaired or replace. Several guest got locked in and had to constantly mess with it. Other than that everything was fine and we would return for another week stay in the future. Also the beach wasn't as easy to walk to as stated unless we were accessing from the wrong area.

This place was truly a great, sunny getaway. While walking to the beach wasn't too clear, driving there was easy. A few minutes up the road is easy parking and access with lifeguard stations. The main drag of restaurants is close and the grocery store is closer. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We did all of our cooking on the large gas grill. The pool area is large and very private with the trees around. The home is in a secluded, gated, and nice community.

Pool was green and dirty when we arrived late on a Monday. we went out early on tuesday, and at night pool was even greener. Called rental agent and he sent someone over on wed. They vaccumed and added chemicals and by friday morning the pool looked great.

As always you can find things to critique but we would definitely go back. The house needs some upgrades and attention. The king bed turned out to be a queen bed and the queen bed turned out to be a full bed. The bathrooms and TVs need updating and modernizing, but the kitchen and especially the pool/patio area was really nice. Can walk to the beach but we preferred driving 5 mins down the road. The exterior of the home and landscaping were pristine. The neighborhood was quiet, private, and really nice. Would love to see the updated but would return without them.

This house was great! The location and everything was perfect for our needs. The only complaint is that house had a musky, mildewy smell. We had to buy a candle to help with the smell. The furnace/AC had a leak and they were very prompt in getting it fixed. I would recommend this house to my friends and family.

Everything went well except a couple of the issues that the mgr. handled. The problem is the crazy neighbor next door who called the police 3 times about us being loud. The police said that they could not even hear us and that she was trying to make a point. It's a shame if something can't be done about that. She should not be able to ruin a trip.

Beautiful pool area, beautiful bedrooms, parking was great, large kitchen and dining room area, wonderful TVs in all bedrooms except one. It would’ve been nice for the fourth bedroom to also have a TV. Request for maintenance were immediately worked on.

There was mold growing in the bathrooms and lip prints on all of the mirrors in the house. My children were freezing as there were no blankets on the beds. The kitchen had minimal supplies to be used in what they reported be a gourmet type kitchen. The outside was not maintained the pool was dirty branches and tree limbs were overgrown. The host was very difficult to work with and did not respond with helpful accommodations. We ended up leaving halfway through our trip because my daughter got sick I made the host aware of this and he is unwilling to refund any part of our stay. I would not stay here the pictures do not represent what he is advertising

We truly enjoyed our trip and our daughter was in love with the iguanas. The only complaint is the neighbor that yelled at our 8 year old for making noise in the pool, it was 5:45pm. The house was great and we enjoyed walking to the beach
