The reception area was nicely decorated
The beds were uncomfortable and the breakfast was basic.

clean, adequate and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and helpful. One gentleman came with me to the carpark on my departing assist me getting out of the carpark onto the street.
A little dated, but clean and value for money but I couldn’t park my car outside to check without blocking the traffic. So I drove past the hotel and parked around the next corner. I walked back, checked I and paid for the hotel car park. When I returned to move my car to the hotel carpark I had been given a parking ticket - welcome to Merida.
The carpark is very tight for a normal family saloon car. It is very difficult to manoeuvre into a parking space.

Good location
Room was not like the pictures at all. Floor was a bit dirty. Breakfast was too basic.

The photos in the website where of renovated rooms and we got an old room.
I think it would be fair to know in advance if you will have to sleep in an old room.
On the morning, we had a lot of noise very early. We would not repeat at all.
Not worth the value.

Nice place, near the center. The room was good
This was double booked (and double charged) and nobody was capable to solve it or even reply to the emails sent.

The room didn't have a window to the outside but went onto a busy hallway. You couldn't sleep with the window open.

We were given one of the new rooms, recently refurbished, for no surcharge.
Parking lot was charged and breakfast was too expensive for poor choice (just bread and instant coffee).

Great location walking distance to sites and restaurants. Clean comfortable room.
Wi-fi was unreliable.
10.0
This is very understated hotel. Appearance is deceptive from the exterior but inside it is a real gem. The room we had had been completely refurbished with an ultra modern ensuite and all was spotlessly clean. The hotel has Underground parking which is a must as there is no parking near the hotel.

location
no toilet paper, not clean, smells like cheap fragrant, noisy, cold floor no carpet or any details. totally overpriced 80 eur for this quality

Great location, very nice staff, and a very nice breakfast. Overall a solid place to stay and explore the city for a few days!
The wifi was basically non-existent in my room - this was inconvenient.
9.0
Recently renovated, modern, beautiful rooms (downstairs only!). Very clean and super friendly family-owners. The place is in a quiet street, only 3 walking minutes away from Roman bridge and very lively (until 02:00 a.m.!!!) Plaza Major. Every historic attraction about 5min. away. We didn’t book breakfast or parking, since both were also available around the corner. We stayed in Merida before, for much more money in a less attractive place. We will definitely come back for next year’s cultural festival and recommend it to friends and family!
Rooms upstairs need to undergo renovations like the rooms downstairs… but the owner already said this would happen soon…
