Overall good for the price point we paid

Honest review: We were upgraded to a new room as we booked Chalets. The room was neat & clean! Bathrooms and linens are nice and clean. Some sections of the room had to be cleaned as I saw a small spiderweb on the top of the room. The staff is friendly but may need a bit of organising skills. They delayed our room for more than 15 mins while guests who checked in after us were given rooms immediately. The reception was chaos as the people there were themselves confused. We asked for checkout and a trainee girl came to take the luggage for us - I feel I was more stronger than her to take the luggage hence I pulled it out myself and did.

There was a wedding that was happening in the resort. The staff was so engaged in these guests that they forgot others were there. The DJ was so loud that the window pane started vibrating. There was no one to help us put the luggage out during check-out as we genuinely needed help - 2 people vs 6 bags and Laptop bags. No one seemed to care during checkout as everyone was busy attending and working on the wedding. Its a good walk to the beach so the location is close to the beach but amenities-wise, it was nothing. Their restaurant was decent and had nice food for breakfast, but the cafe was closed, the games room was being painted & swimming pool was the only existing amenity they had.

We stayed for 2 nights for a bit of R&R in Goa.

Really friendly staff.

The food was ok & I think any longer than 2 nights I would have been bored at the resort because there isn't a lot going on or if there is it isn't publicised. The pool is quite small and majority of loungers are in the shade. Beach isn't quite as close as we thought, but probably didn't help that my friend I travelled with is afraid of dogs and there are a lot of loose dogs which made it seem longer.

Very good and comfortable stay. A memorable trip. Beach and pool were just awesome.

This property has just been taken over by ITC. So it will take some more time to achieve that standard. Overall the stay was comfortable. Certain issues but I think once it is 100%taken up by ITC, those will be all gone.

We had requested for complimentary decoration which they agreed they would provide but they didn’t

Same breakfast buffet everyday but overall food was good.

Staff service is very slow. We kept calling reception multiple times and then we get the service. Lot of miscommunication between the staff due to which we couldn’t get requested services

Serene Property

Spacious rooms, good view, clean linen. Was upgraded to superior room. Reception staff Mr Vincent, Nelson are great, so is Housekeeper Ms Manusha & Haston. Nice swimming pool. Fantastic buffet breakfast fit for a king- right from dryfruits, fresh cut fruits, fresh juices, shakes, variety of veg & non veg items - really great. Mr Prasad in Zodiac Restaurant is excellent in looking after the guests-overall great relaxing stay

I honestly think the property is under selling themselves they are easily a four star hotel. I have stayed in raddisons and Novotel which are 5 star hotels in Goa but this was a pleasant suprise. Absolutely worth the price.

I think they can make a reception area a little more decorative. Like adding some big water bowls with petals and floating candles that would add so much charm

The ambience. The location. The breakfast. The staff. The greenery, the parking.

The noisy group of men that checked in while we were there. They did not respect the fact that there were other guests in the hotel and literally ran amok talking loudly till midnight and then the same thing early next morning! Thankfully they left soon...

Pricey

Courteous and helpful staff and shuttle driver.

The hotel is old and needs upkeep. Had requested for an Extra Bed, the bedding was ok, not upto the standard. Toiletries were not so great.

Excellent mid range international place to say

We enjoyed our stay, nice quiet room, good faciliteis, and a great bathroom and cleaned well. Staff were very helpful, our kettle was not working and they quickly replaced it. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Being international guests, we appreciated the 4 bottles of water in the room which were always replenished and when we asked for more we were given more. Not a long walk to the beach, we did it everyday and beach the bar/restaurant linked to the hotel was fantastic too. We ate and drank there a lot.

While not far away by kilometer, it was a long trip to get to and from the airports, we flew in using the old airport and out using the new goa airport. Having better transport to/from the airports would have been better and something the hotel could look at offering instead of trying to find a taxi ourselves.

Great location, has all amenities

The property is close to Benaulim beach and had all hotel amenities we expected. Didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and beautiful. Also, the sit-out area outside our room was pretty and cosy.

The property is a bit dated and lacks modern decor but I would stay here again

clean…. breakfast was good …. spacious enough rooms

the front desk staff weren’t really trained to reach out and try and help or empathise with guests … we were attending a conference in the Marriot, which was 10 mins away and had an additional employee who had to use our room to change - at 3 pm. Just to change , not to stay …The front desk made it look like we were some riffraff trying to misuse hotel properties … We regularly attend seminars and conferences all over India and the world over but have never faced such an unnecessary situation … In any case, better sense prevailed upon them, albeit after wasting 20 mins .

Except the Location to a Venue of Wedding which we had to attend nothing is good. The Staff, Lady manager on duty were rude and blunt. No scope of customer service from them. None of the extension lines worked. Room service wasn't provided inspite of informing.

Excellent

Beautiful resort and amazing hospitality by the team members. The food quality, quantity and taste are well balanced. I highly recommend this resort for all occasions. The staff and management are very helpful and supportive. Speical thanks to Ms. Suru, Ms. Netra & Mr. Vincent from front office, Mr. Karan from Zodiac and all operational team members. Special thanks to Mr. Som Prakash Malik (GM) for managing the team and experience of the resort.
