Good location, but no housekeeping

The hotel is well located, near the entrance to Shenandoah NP. Also, there’s a Walmart and several places to eat nearby

The man at the reception mentioned something about the housekeeping lady not coming the nest day when we checked, but he didn’t mention that there would be no housekeeping whatsoever. When we arrived after a long hiking in Shenandoah we found that our room had not been cleaned

Uncomfortable

There was no breakfast. Location was good

Room had musty smell and was not very clean. Every once in a while we saw bugs. Was very glad to leave the next day. Would not recommend this hotel

Disappointing!

The restaurant that was attached was nice.

The toilet was clogged when we got there and it took hours for them to send someone to fix it. By the time I they came, I was in my pajamas and my kids were in bed. The bed linen was stained and there were insufficient wash cloths. The baseboard trim was missing and there were spots that appeared to have mold. Housekeeping did not come to tidy the room or dump the trash. When we asked about it, we were told that you had to request someone to come tidy the room. I would not stay there again!

The closeness to Luray Caverns and Main Street.

The pool was broken. No bathtub. Towel rack was broken. One lightbulb didn't work then the bathroom lightbulb stopped working. That could not be replaced until we left the room.

No frills, passable for a night or two with limited expectations.

The location was walkable to downtown Luray. The outdoor pool was nice for kids but it wasn’t the cleanest. A restaurant was available if you wanted to have breakfast at the hotel and checkin provided a 10% off coupon. The free Wi-fi was fast.

The beds were on a slight lean, head lower than foot of the bed. The carpet in the room felt wet. The rooms could use updating.

No, when we checked out there was a hand written note on the door saying due to emergency the restaurant was closed for two days and there’s no one at the front desk, dropped the keys and left.

Passable

We like the location. It's in the city of Luray and not out on the highway. It was comfortable. The staff was very attentive to our needs.

Our room, we later found out, was near the trash bins. There was a real fly problem.

Location was great, close to historic DT and Shenandoah NP. Pool is open and refreshing.

We stayed 2 nights and didn't receive any housekeeping service at all. Garbages were full and toilet paper wasn't filled up. Upon our arrival sheets on beds were not properly dried and we have to ask for new one and changed it.

Disappointed!

Nice bed and pillows! Location was great, close to Luray Caverns. Nice to have free ice.

Staff was not personable. Felt like I was putting them out, checking into my room. The outside of the facility was not clean, and the sidewalks were very messy. Inside my room, there were holes in the wall, things painted horrible. I put a towel on the towel rack, and it literally fell apart. I put it back together. Also, when I pulled out a tissue, the box and metal container the box was in came out of the wall to display a shabby hole.

We chose what we thought was a reliable name in hotels and were disappointed on multiple occasions.

The onsite restaurant was a nice feature. Appreciated the discount for guests. It was much better than a "continental" breakfast.

The room was not very clean. The air conditioner vents etc. had not been cleaned in a long time. The disinfectant used for cleaning left such a strong odor that we had to sit with the door open and AC fan running to air it out. Just not a clean place. The entire building needs maintenance or updating. We found the same problems at a different Quality Inn the next night. Seems to be a pattern of not cleaning and maintaining the building, I assume to save money. I'll pay a little more for nicer, sanitary accommodations.

Room was very clean. Location was Excellent. Friendly staff.

Had to ask to have room cleaned. Had to ask for toiletries and clean towels. On-site restaurant only open for breakfast. Waitress added gratuity to a to go order without asking.

Very clean, service was good and a good location for nearby restaurants.

Pillow was a bit stiff, and the covers/ blankets were not soft. Was expected a better mountain view with more of nature instead of the the buildings in the way.

Would book again!

convenience. Location. It was close to everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the area felt “homey”. There is a little Italian restaurant right next door and they’re food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had a sub and we still talk about it!

Good, comfortable stay for a reasonable price.

Room was nice overall. It had every amenity I would expect.

Pillows seemed small and the curtains didn’t do much to block the morning sun. Wifi was spotty.

Good location but terrible conditions and rude desk staff.

Close to activities

The room had a bad smell, the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in black mold, the shower head cover was not connected to the wall, and the neighboring room had very loud people throughout the nights (2×). When I asked Betsy at the front desk about any reduction in cost due to the problems, she replied "No, because you're already getting a reduced rate through Booking.com; you'll have to talk to them. "
