The house was really lovely, well furnished and in a perfect location. It was just a short walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Our host Philippe was at the house to meet us on arrival and was available if any help was needed. We would stay here again.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful property in such a spectacular and peaceful location, we knew that we were going to have a wonderful holiday. Everything was just perfect, fantastic location - great restaurants and superb local patisserie - all close by. We cannot thank Jenny and Philippe enough for their hospitality and hope to return in the near future. A bientot!!

After the Covid enforced break is was lovely to be back and the property was excellent - central but quiet, well appointed and clean with a very helpful monsieur. We will return next year.

La maison est très centrale de Saint-Martin de Ré, tout peut se faire à pieds ou à vélo. La maison est décorée avec goût et est très agréable et fonctionnelle. Le petit extérieur sans vis-à-vis est top. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Merci à Philippe et Jany pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. La location est 100% conforme aux photos présentées sur le site. La maison est propre, confortable, rien ne manque. La proximité avec le port de St-Martin-de-Ré est appréciable, tout peut se faire à pieds/à vélo, tout en étant au calme. Nous recommandons.

Toutes les conditions pour passer un agréable séjour sont réunies : les hôtes sont disponibles et restent néanmoins discrets, la maison est très agréable, lumineuse, aménagée avec goût et très bien équipée, et la situation est idéale (dans une impasse donc très calme et à deux pas du port et du centre). Petit espace extérieur à l'abri des regards et du vent. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Patrick et Martine

Nous avons vraiment tout apprécié de ce séjour : calme, propreté, accueil, emplacement, qualité des literies... La maison est parfaitement équipée, l'accueil est chaleureux et la proximité des sympathiques propriétaires est rassurante en cas de besoin. Les vélos sont au top pour découvrir l'île. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The description was completely accurate - very clean, modern with very good facilities. It is situated in a very quiet street, yet is only a very short walk down to the harbour. Easy parking outside though we rarely used the car. Our bikes were stored securely. Our host was on hand to welcome us and give us local information. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a holiday.

A lovely stay at a very comfortable house

The house is deceptively large and very comfortable. The owners live next door and are very helpful with any queries. The house is literally a 2 minute walk from the harbour so perfect for eating out, shopping etc and you also have 2 bicycles for use should you wish. A rather delicious patisserie Do Ré Me is around the corner for breakfast (and decent coffee!) The house is opposite the hotel Barronnie where you can get a great massage and if you have children, the parc Barbette is 4 minutes from the house where there is a playground, donkey rides, mini golf and various funfair rides. All in, this is a home from home stay with everything you need either in the house or on your doorstep.

A real find. In many ways the pictures do not do the property justice. This is a lovely, modern, compact house only minutes walk from the harbour of Saint Martin. The property has been tastefully decorated with good quality furnishings and equipment, and has everything one could possibly need for a family holiday on Ile de Re. The real highlights are the outdoor terrace, and the ability to store bicycles on site. Access to the main cycle paths along the island are only minutes away, as is a large supermarket. Above all though the owner speaks very good English and was always absolutely charming to me any my family. We left the island with many happy memories and will definitely visit again.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment! The street was very quiet and a short walk to the center of the village. The kitchen was well equipped for light cooking and the little patio was perfect for a breakfast coffee or lunch. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The owners were very nice and helpful and were there to meet us upon our arrival. We would definitely recommend the apartment and will stay there again on our next visit! *My only suggestion is to upgrade the coffee maker.

We felt very comfortable in Philippe's house. We arrived in the pouring rain and were happy that it was cosy and warm in the house. Especially the floor heating in the living area is great.The location is perfect - the house is situated in a quiet street - you are in five minutes at the harbour, baker or restaurants. The terrace is perfect to enjoy a coffee in the afternoon.We will definitely come back again and look forward to next year.

The house is in excellent condition with all things necessary to make your stay comfortable. The convenience of parking and short walk to the town centre make it an ideal location. The owner is on site and very helpful but not intrusive.

This house was perfect for us. It was 5 minutes walk from the harbour located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Philippe, the owner met us from the bus stop (about 4 minutes away from the house via a 'short cut'). The house was exactly as described on the website. It is decorated to a high specification with everything you could need for a holiday rental. It was spotlessly clean and felt very safe. The decked area out the back was an additional bonus, as was the secure area for our rental bikes.I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a quiet location but that's only 5 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of the harbour and restaurants. We will certainly be back

Notre 4ème séjour dans cette location! Maison agréable, fonctionnelle, parfaitement équipée et très propre. Propriétaires à proximité, charmants et dévoués. Une situation idyllique au calme, mais à 2" du minute du port et des commerces. Et également au centre de l'île, ce qui permet d'envisager tous déplacements à vélo.

Sehr diskrete, freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Zentrale, aber ruhige Lage. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hafen. Perfekt eingerichtet. (Schön wäre eine Liege auf der Terasse) Sehr zu empfehlen! Keine 5 Sterne, weil nur kostenpflichtige Parkplätze in der Nähe sind.

Really great house, perfectly located, five minutes from town but not noisy from it. The house has all the equipment and more and was very well maintained and well presented. The garden has sun on it all day and is very private. The house is very spacious. The Owner Phillipe was super! He made us feel very welcome and advised us on the surrounding attractions, he even bought us loads of Fresh Oysters one day that he had just caught from his boat! A very lovely man. We stayed here with our Children of 2.5 years old and 4 years old, the house was perfect for it. We would definitely recommend to friends, and are hoping to plan our next trip to stay there again. All in all a fabulous place to stay with a wonderful owner.

Very nice apartment with superior appliances and styling. Even better than what we expected. Very quiet but only 2 minutes walk to the harbor with restaurants and shops. Landlord is very friendly and helpful and - besides the beautiful weather - made our stay on Ile-de-Ré a very relaxing and pleasant experience.
