Person an der Reception war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das Frühstück war nicht sehr reichhaltig.

Sicuramente ritornerei da loro

Lo staff è stato molto accogliente e gentile, le camere pulitissime e curate nei dettagli, presenza di aria condizionata, camere insonorizzate al massimo, ascensore, frigo in camera, vicinanza alla stazione (letteralmente a 10 passi) ma con gli ottimi infissi della struttura non abbiamo sentito alcun rumore

Toller Aufenthalt in Locarno, im Garni Hotel Montaldi

Zimmer hatte ein gut funktionierende Klimaanlage die auch mit 32°C Aussentemperatur gut zurecht kam. auch ein leistungsfähiger Kühlschrank war im Zimmer, was jederzeit kühle Getränke garantierte. Unser Zimmer war im 4. Stock mit einem Balkon am Abend konnte man über den Bahnhofplatz sehen und auf den See, bei einem Glas Wein.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln für den günstigen Preis! Es hat alles tiptop gepasst.

Helpful staff, great stay, value for money

Excellent staff, delivered electric kettle and cups to the room upon request, small refrigerator. Across the street from railway station, but no real noise from that. Balcony was great, filtered view of lake. Clean. Well situated, convenient for public transport and close to centre of town.

Bed not comfortable, two singles put together with a gap in the middle divide.

Conveniently located basic hotel

Hotel is just across street from the train station and many buses, so very convenient if someone wants to explore the area by public transport. Also old town and lake are just few minutes walk away. The room is simple but has all what is needed. Breakfast is basic but ok. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate.

Unfortunately the balcony is facing quite busy road, so it is a bit noisy.

Staff very helpful and friendly Clean room, sheets, towels New bathroom with great shower Good heating and AC. Very good location. Great WiFi.

Flashing green light where the room card would normally be, but they don't use cards. But you can cover it without much effort. A slight smell of smoke in some areas. But may not be the hotel fault

The location, right near the train station, was very convenient when arriving after a complicated journey by train. The room was clean, warm, spacious, with comfortable beds, a nice warm shower, internet connection, TV. Access by lift much appreciated. A nice breakfast in a spacious, luminous dining room. And we were very happy to be able to leave our main luggage in a special closet, between the morning check-out and our afternoon train.

No explanation sheet re. the TV: it took us awhile to find TV stations, not just radio on the TV. A flashing green light all night next to the door and the loud bass music from a nearby club made it hard to get back to sleep at... 4 a.m. The flushing mecanism on the toilet was partially broken (for the "large" side)

was ok and could being very good if the air conditioner was working.

The location.

The air conditioner was not fully working . we as a like for 10min and would turn of.I mentioned in the reception and the answer was the doors should be close for working properly but sure I had all the doors close. we went out and came back later and I thought would be better but was making a weird noise and stop. I would turn on and would make the noise and stop. In the check out I show the video a made from the noise and a very nice lady gave us 10frcs as an apology but the people in the Night Shift had not interested.

Close to city center, newly renovated washroom. very clean rooms, had an amazing balcony.

Good for a 1 night stay

The view from our room was very nice. The location right off the train station was ideal.

The hotel was currently under renovation and some amenities were limited. The mattresses could have been a bit more comfortable.
