The food was absolutely amazing. The variety and cooking was perfect.
They offered both Western and Asian options.
The staff was friendly and helpful
The beach is rocky with sea grass and not swimmable at low tide

It was a beautiful facility and it was nice to have the beach right there. The staff was exceptional and everything is so clean.
The resort is great for families with children, but not for couples. It does not have enough parking spaces right by our room, so we often have to park our car to their main parking lot, and which is 1/4 mile away.

Breakfast was great, and the meals we had in the other restaurants. All of the staff were lovely, and we enjoyed the pool and the pool bar at night! The massage at the spa was amazing.
Could be updated a little in facilities.

Nice rooms and on the beach.
1 hour wait each day to get seated for breakfast. No communication by restaurant staff about seating protocol for non-Japanese speakers, so didn’t get seated when it was our turn. Additionally, the parking was 1/4 mile from the room. Much too far. Also, as I was checking out, and in a hurry to catch my flight, I was handed coupons to spend 2000 yen at the resort shop. It was too late to do anything with it.

Great facilities: beach, pools, restaurants, onsen.
Beds a touch hard

Lovely Property, with a nice beach and pool area. Nice breakfast spread.
Parking is a bit away from the main building. Though you have bus drop service but not always that convenient.

we had a wonderful time during our stay at the resort. the private beach was a definite highlight, we also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, staff was super nice and helpful.
Rooms need some renovation. our bedsheets were spotless but the blankets were worn out with lots of stains.

This was a really fun family resort! It had awesome swimming pools and a splash park which the kids loved! There were a variety of restaurants and while some of them need reservations, we always managed to find one to eat at and enjoyed the food options. The staff were really helpful and kind.

Beachside location was stunning.
Hugely overpriced, room was extremely old fashioned (1970s decor, did not look like it had been updated). Pool(s) were overrun with kids and inflatables, pretty shocking when you consider there was a completely separate kid’s pool for them to use with slides etc. It did not feel appropriate for anyone other than a family, not good for couples or those on solo trips. Food at Hanare was not great; pretentious, hugely expensive and poor. Bar staff at Star Bar were not attentive, pretty rude and hapless. Also shocking that you had to pay to use a Cabana when we spent over 100,000 Yen in one evening! We had stayed in another hotel (Meguru) in Ishigaki for two nights previous to Fusaki at a third of the price and it was much nicer, much more modern and leagues ahead in comparison. We were hugely disappointed as this was meant to be a treat stay for our honeymoon.

Great property and location
Not many staff spoke English. Hard to get information beforehand about the rooms and details

The location is great as well as the beach and outdoor pool
The breakfast is quite crowded and this is not well managed. You can wait up to 45 minutes to get access and then the staff tells you that you have to come to an end because the restaurant closes in 15 minutes.
The personnel somehow made an impression of helplessness and inflexibility to me. They set many strange rules and act in an not understandable manner like
-Only for some cocktails you are only allowed to drink directly at the bar and not at the nearby located lounge. For some cocktails it doesn’t matter
- The BBQ course only can start at 6pm or 8pm, not inbetween, because it takes 90 minutes. However, when we started at 8pm, the staff decided by themselves that the course ended at 9pm even though last order was at 9:10 and end at 9:30pm

The resort facilities are extraordinary. Great pools, restaurants, gift shops and cozy common area. Staff were generally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great with an amazing selection of food. Best buffet breakfast we have ever experienced. Buffet dinner at Bold restaurant is also highly recommended. Nice beach too.
Our room (garden villa) was old and need some urgent refurbishment. I guess the other rooms are better? The toilet in our room has a bad smell and the tub is old and un-inviting. It’s a shame because otherwise, our experience at Fusaki was excellent.

The public bath was lovely. The grounds beautiful.

great location and nice hotel location
most rooms could have view of the sea, but the hotel was designed in a weird way.
otherwise hotel management is a bit too uptight on schedules.

The hotel is great except for the cleanliness under the beds in the room and the room itself in need of refurbishment. An excellent outdoor pool with entertainment for children, a clean beach that is regularly cleaned, various activities on the sea. Not cheap, as like everywhere else, but it was funny. The children's aqua zone is always popular. Nice and clean indoor pool. Great onsen, more than you would expect from a hotel onsen, hot dry sauna and cold water bath. All public facilities are well maintained and clean.
Varied breakfast menu, good choice of salads and fruits.
The floor under the beds was dirty. It can be seen that sometimes the floor under the beds was washed, but in the past weeks it definitely did not see the cleaning. The rest was clean, no complaints about cleaning, but lumps of dirt under the beds are unacceptable in a good hotel. The bathroom in the villas is in need of repair and equipment replacement.
3.5 / 5.0
Good facilities, nice pool area, decent restaurants and a nice enough room
Poor handling during busy times (long queues to check in and for breakfast), which should be predictable and manageable
4.0 / 5.0
This a good family-oriented hotel beachside with a great pool and fun splash pad for kids. Food was generally good, with the standout being the beachside grill bbq which was absolutely amazing.
Facilities were pretty old and a little run-down, the bathroom in the villas was very simple and not really up to Japanese standards. Cleaning was infrequent, often came too late in the day (3 pm when kids were napping), and not very thorough. The walk between room and facilities were pretty long and the carts were limited to those who drove in. The bar could have had more options and the no drinking in the pool shallow loungers was really unfortunate.

the greenery and green areas inside the resort and down to the beaches dere so well kept and a highly diversity of flowering bushes and trees created such a fantastic atmosphere. There was plenty of engaging activities for children!
The room cleaning was fantastic. The only thing was that it was done between 14:00 and 17:00 each day, and the first day we expected it to be cleaned before lunch (indicated at check-in).

the waterpark for kids is great, lot of things you can buy or rent on site for beach play. it is really big. the store in the hotel is nice. two restaurants for breakfast.
overpriced for what you get. parking is a bit far, better to wait for a shuttle.
restaurants are ok, but expensive as well.
the beach is so-so. due to the net to protect from wild life, the water is shallow. other beaches will have better sand and water. the pool is nice but a bit small as there will be many people .

Fantastic beach location of pool area. Nice room
Way too many rules! Especially around the pool and no one could explain the reason for them.
Also it is a bit over-priced.

beautiful place
drinks are not good, not strong enough, not consistently made, and expensive for a weak, not very good drink (I tried 8 different cocktails and even their Mai tai and pina colada were disappointments)
4.5 / 5.0
Location. facility. restaurant, food and service. We could fully relax and enjoy our stay.
Slowly and late room cleaning service.
