Tina is a wonderful host. Her response time to questions was quick. Offered transportation options from airport and to the port. Also knew local guides for hire. All were seamless and reasonable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Athens. The apartment is very well maintained & conveniently located. Tina graciously accommodated our early arrival and late check out. As well she arranged for drivers to pick us up from the airport and take us to the ship for our cruise.

A/C was not working properly and the apartment was 34.2C/93.6F inside.
There are three A/C units inside the apartment, but neither of them was working properly to cool a room.
We closed bedroom doors and closed the bathroom doors to help cool the rooms , but it made for a difficult night of sleep.
Left the apartment early, due to the A/C issue.
Tina, the owner, did come by and said the A/C units were working properly, as she had them serviced in the spring. She said the rooms would eventually cool, but 24-hrs later and there was not much temperature difference.
As mentioned by others, there is street noise, which is louder than other cities and hotels in major cities in the USA I have stayed at.
Tina did provide a full credit for the 2nd night and discounted the first night.
If you don’t mind hearing street noise with the doors and windows closed and it’s not summer time, this is a great place to stay.

Our stay at Tinas property was fantastic.
The property is exactly as described and so close to everything. The beds were comfortable, the apartment very safe and clean and it could not be more perfect for two couples travelling together.
What stood out for us was Tina as a host. She helped both couples artiving separately book transportation from the airport and then together to the cruise ship terminal with fantastic drivers. Then she also set us up with the most amazing guide to see the acropolis.
Her communication and guidance go far beyond any hosts ive ever stayed with for a VRBO and she helped make our stay effortless. I would definitely stay here again on anther trip to Athens. Tina.... Thank you ..thank you ..thank you !!

After being tired from island hopping and catching ferries, we were very appreciative to find this accommodation so welcoming, spacious and comfortable. The proximity and view of Hadrian’s Arch unbelievable - right across the road and was beautiful to wake up to. The Acropolis is amazing to see from the other side of the apartment. Both sites are even more mesmerising lit up at night. We were in walking distance to an endless choice of restaurants and cafes. We did lots of shopping - so much cheaper in Athens than the islands. We were in a short walking distance to the museum, grocery store, shops, flea markets and restaurants for any budget range. I felt safe walking around with my family in Plaka.
Tina was the best host I have encountered. She communicated from the time we booked offering to arrange ferry and airport transfers. Tina communicated with us throughout our stay checking to see if she could assist further. Prior to our arrival, Tina arranged a wonderful tour guide, Ada to take us through the Acropolis Museum and up the Acropolis and Slopes. It was a fantastic and informative tour, Ada engaged my teenagers in the history with lots of fun facts and was very attentive to taking care of us in the heat. It was great to be given so much local knowledge from both Tina and Ada.
Thank you Tina for making our Athens trip so special and trouble free! We will cherish the memories for a lifetime!!

The host was wonderful and very responsive to our requests and needs. The property is in a nice location and walkable to everything. The view from the apartment is priceless. Only downside is noise from street from one of the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Review limited to 1500 characters so Short story: we were robbed & owner Tina showed no concern/responsibility/empathy for anything.Bottom line-we returned to apt on day 1.Clothes strewn across apt.Stolen were 6 passports, 3 US and 3 Croatian (dual citizens), €150, jewelry. No sign of forced entry. Immediately contacted Tina. Her response: so sorry this happened. I’m on vaca, not really anything I can do. Should I call the police for you. That is last helpful thing she said. All communication via text.Called x3 times-never picked up.Hours later finally found tourist police station-issued documents verifying theft. Police to apt, said thieves got in w/ key or we didn’t fully lock deadbolt so picked lock.Easy entry to bldg-poor security. We felt unsafe/violated but too late to find other place that night.Daughter terrified, slept w/ butcher knife.Asked Tina for refund of final night. She reluctantly agreed.Said it’s her only income. She refused all other help.Said not her fault, could happen to anyone. Finally conceded to change lock for safety of future guests but that took effort. Will she actually?Moved to hotel.Spent entire day at 2 embassies.US rep: thieves targeted apt w/weak security. No cameras.Easy entry. We lost 2/4 nights in Naxos.Wish I could post screenshots of our text exchange. She was horrible. You’d be shocked.Every other Greek horrified-not Tina.Insisted she had no responsibility to us.Refund of night we weren’t there was best she could do.Too bad for us. DO NOT RENT!

This was our first visit to Athens! It was everything we had hoped it would be! This property was perfect! We didn’t need to rent a car because we were literally in a short walking distance to the Acropolis, the Museum, and so many shops and restaurants. We loved sitting on the balcony at the end of the day with the Hadrian Arch in view! Thank you Tina for being a great host! 💕

We stayed here for our 2 nights in Athens and you can’t beat the location. All the hotspots were close enough to walk and lots of nice restaurants and shops close by. The unit was clean, spacious and perfect for 3 adults. Highly recommend!

A comfortable apartment and it is in a very convenient area close to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum.
It is close to transport options but it is on a very busy and noisy road which made it impossible to enjoy the balcony.
The host Tina was patient as I struggled to use to use the communication processes.

This property and host were a 5 easily but without a microwave or extra towels and cleanliness not up to standard, lower rating.

Location…. Location…. Location! We got in late and the first thing we saw was a view of the Acropolis from the kitchen window and the view from the balcony was just amazing! Tina made check in so easy. We got in late and she arranged a driver to pick us up and provide us with the keys. Very comfortable accommodations for a family of 4.

We found the property to be in an ideal location to walk to great sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The host’s communication was very prompt and also proactive with any tips on things we might like to see and help transportation options. Property was clean and very comfortable.

We loved our stay and the drivers Tina provided. The location was perfect and we walked everywhere.

The apartment was very clean and looked just like the photos on VRBO. The king size beds were very comfortable. Hadrian’s Arch is literally across the street and you can see the Acropolis from the dining room window. The location is perfect to walk to the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis and surrounding sites.
Tina was so easy to work with. She allowed us to come in early on our arrival day and even arranged a driver to pick us up from the port and take us to the airport at the end of our stay. George was professional and courteous. One recommends is to bring Earplugs as the apartment is located on a busy street.

Absolutely the perfect location to enjoy the sites. The photos say it all. The acropolis view from the back of the condo and Hadrian‘s arch is right across the street. Lovely Host. Very communicative - even arranged a driver to collect us and get us back to the airport. And we were able to check in by 10 AM because her cleaning lady was so accommodating. Exceptional choice if you are visiting Athens and specifically the heart of it in the old neighborhood of Plaka. ♥️

Great location. Pictures are accurate ,restaurants and shops a foot step away. Hop on hop off bus at door step.
They arranged taxi 5 star to condo from airport. And then to boat.

Tina’s apartment was a great spot to spend our last couple of nights in Greece after traveling to different parts of the country. Hadrian’s Arch out the front window and the Acropolis out the back! Perfectly located next to the Plaka area with sooo many great restaurants and shops, and a short walk to the Acropolis, Parliament building and Royal gardens. Tina arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and she kept in touch throughout our stay. There was a lot of street noise all night, but I guess that comes with the location. Overall a great stay.

Such a great welcome coming from a long flight with the driver meeting us at the airport to Tiny waiting for us at the condo. We arrived early and Tiny helped store our bags, walked us around the neighbor introducing us to Plaka, suggested wonderful restaurants and helpful hints for our stay. The place was better than advertised with views of Acropolis and Hadrian’s Arch. Location was 10+. So convenient to all the sites and staying in Plaka was very special. Will definitely refer to friends or anyone visiting Athens!

The apartment and amenities were good ... the location and the exceptional service from the property owner were outstanding. Great location and highly recommend this location. Be sure to take the Acropolis tour with Ada and the transportation with Yannis. Tina (property owner) was very helpful navigate our experience in Athens. Having stayed at a half dozen VRBO locations the service received by Tina, Ada, & Yannis was above anything I experienced!

We stayed 4 nights here in Athens (4 girls on a trip of a lifetime) and we couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. The location is fantastic and so close to the sites, shopping and restaurants. Tina was a wonderful host and so very responsive to messages when we had questions. The taxi driver, Yannis, she recommended was also the best. Thanks you so much for a great stay!

Our stay was great! All the reviews rave about the views. Well, they’re right! We were late getting into Athens (long story) but our host was able to reschedule our taxi without any problem at all which was so nice considering how long we had been traveling! Yes you are walking distance to all the ancient sights and the Plaka is just behind you too. Little things though like a close grocery store and a washing machine in the apartment make saving money on food and packing light much easier. Highly recommend!

There is not a better apartment for the Plaka area. The pictures don’t do justice to the actual views from your apartment. Simply the best views of the Acropolis and Hadrian’s Arch available!!! Apartment is well kept and modern.
