This home is located on the southwestern edge of the town of Coos Bay, the largest city on the Oregon Coast. In the summer, grab your flip flops and head to Sunset Bay State Park (six miles south), a beautiful half-moon bay with a sandy beach, soaring cliffs, and a nine-hole golf course. On rainy days, try your luck at The Mill Casino or Three Rivers Casino, wander the halls of the Coos Bay Museum of Art, or sample a local pint at 7 Devils Brewery.

This rental also comes equipped with crab rings, waterproof boots, and digging equipment if you feel like going on a crabbing or clam-digging adventure in the tidelands! Very nice and quiet very clean very comfortable beds This doesn’t need to be posted for everyone to see, but there were a couple little things when we pulled open the blinds One of the slats fell out and it just didn’t function very well. It got worse every time we opened and closed it. It really would’ve been nice if the yard had been mowed, it is very clean. We do appreciate that but one of us has allergies and the vents in the bathroom is extremely filthy. The drain in the sink really needs cleaned. Several of the electrical outlets did not work and one sparked so that was a concern I did wash a couple windows so we could see out more clearly. I know the salt air does things but Anyway we really enjoyed it. I don’t know why places don’t have blackout curtains in the bedroom. It’s not just your place but everywhere I stay they do not have blackout curtains in the bedrooms. It’s just a real preference of mine. I Do not like lights so early in the morning Great little place

Location was what we wanted between Charleston and Coos Bay. Friendly neighbors. Nice view of the bay. Comfortable, very nice bathroom, good shower.

The yard wasn't mowed, grass up to my calf. Cobwebs and rusty front door (needed painting). The furnishings inside were old and worn. Smelled musty! The house next door looked to be abandoned. Sketchy area. We left and did not stay. We asked for a refund but was denied. Don't stay here!!!!

Not luxurious by any means but very adequate. Clean and roomy enough for my family of 4. Owners seemed very communicative if we needed anything. Floors weren’t sticky. Neighbors seemed nice. Would stay again.

It's a bang-for-your-buck rental that doesn't try to hide its minimal renovations from the family home it once was Heat worked well and the view is pretty As every review has said, the beds are bad. It's not a matter of preference - they're just not good mattresses Floors are that hotel carpeting that feels sticky even when it's clean, with plastic baseboard molding throughout The couch is comfy, but the furniture overall just looks like the first things they came across at a reuse shop. Not bad, just cheap and random Electric plug in the covered parking is sketch and probably unsafe The customer service is prompt, but either automated or very overworked and impersonal Some coffee and aluminum foil would be a nice thing to stock

Neighborhood waa questionable. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Tv was a no go since it wanted me to sign up for Netflix. Did however see one beautiful sunset.

A nice place that is simple and accommodating. Right next to the bay so, with the windows or patio door open, you can hear the waves while eating or watching tv. Very nice place to relax.

Kitchen floor needed to be mopped. Floor was sticky. Our bare feet or socks were sticking to the floor night the night of arrival we first noticed. Rhe door locked us out the next day a code wouldn’t work. Brandon was great help. He gave me the code for the key box to get back in. Otherwise our stay was good.

The neighbor nextdoor to the right is a bit sketchy. A couple RVs in their front yard with people coming and going all the time. The place itself is pretty decent and fairly clean. Nice view of the bay. We had a cute little kitty sit outside of the sliding glass door the whole time we were there - guessing it was the neighbors? There were no checkout instructions which I'm not used to so I was kind of guessing what our checkout responsibilities were. Beds aren't too comfortable. I'd probably give this place 4 stars if it wasn't for the neighborhood.

Right on the bay, with beautiful views, lots of bird life, outstanding sunsets. The house was super clean and well-supplied. The kitchen had more utensils, dishes, pots and pans, etc than I usually see in rentals making cooking a breeze. The location is close to the beaches and state parks. I look forward to returning.

The home was nicer and well taken care of on the inside. We were pleased with the comfort of the couches in the living room and the size of the bathroom. The beds are nothing special, they are mattresses to sleep on but have no extra "pillow tops". We didn't find them uncomfortable, but also they aren't the type of bed you don't want to get out of in the morning. Other reviews mentioned the neighbors. While the nextdoor neighbors do like to collect things within every inch of their front yard, the neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. If there is still concern, be rest assured that every window has extra security to prevent them from being opened from the outside, as well as the sliding door which has 3 total "locking" devices. The only negative was one of the bedrooms has a leaking window so the room was very humid and smelled musty.

We enjoyed staying here and would book again. Wifi was good and house was clean. Neighbors were quiet. Used the provided crabbing equipment down at the Charleston dock and caught a ton of crabs pretty easily.

House was very nice, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The beds could use an update to maybe queen sizes. Wish beach was a little more “walkable”. We had a very nice stay. We would recommend this house to friends/family.

This was a really good location for us. It was so nice to wake up and look out under the bay and see the birds and the ships going by. The cottage is quiet, and well equipped, and very clean. Next time our travels bring us up to Coos Bay we will definitely stay here again. Safe travels to all.

Cottage was exactly as described. Clean, small but perfect for 4 adults. Great view of the bay, nice and quiet neighbor. We used the coffee pot, but did not really cook as we were out on the sand dunes all day. Plenty of room for parking our big truck and trailer + 1 extra passenger car. Netflix on the TV was absolutely fine. Thank you!!

The cottage was neat, clean and exactly what the photos depicted. The views were outstanding. Perfect for my small family of three with plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the easy walk to the small beach to take in the beautiful view.

Was very cute place. Nice and clean. Had neighbors cat with us when we sat out only issue was motor home and lots of Stuff in yard. Also what appeared to be homeless around at times but had no issues . Kitchen well supplied. Great washer and dryer. We got to see the gale storm coming in. Would go again and will recommend to others.
