About this house rental
This two storey stand alone house offers spacious and comfortable living.
Downstairs comprises of large living area with open dining and lounge areas. The lounge room has a large screen plasma television, a dvd player. The dining area adjoins a spacious and modern kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove, oven, dishwasher, filtered water and microwave.
Downstairs also has one bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. The laundry is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. There are also facilities to hang clothes outside if desired.
Backyard includes a recently decked area with outdoor settings and bbq.
Upstairs comprises of bedroom areas, bathroom, second toilet, large rumpus (with lounge, plasma and dvd), sunroom and two balconies. A large balcony faces the beach.
The house has reverse cycled air conditioning and ceiling fans in most rooms.
The property is very secure with high fence and electric gate. Garage has remote control. The property provides secure parking for at least 2 cars.
All linen is provided at no extra charge (single beds need to be made if used). All bathroom towels and some beach towels are provided.
Entry time on day of arrival is usually 2 pm (or negotiated) and departure time by 10 am.

The house has three bedrooms.
Downstairs has one bedroom. This room has a queen size bed and a single bunk bed. Can sleep 4 (suggested maximum 2 adults and 2 children). This room has a wall plasma tv.
Upstairs has two bedrooms. The first has a queen size bed and a double bunk bed. Can sleep 4 (suggested maximum 2 adults and 2 children).
The second bedroom upstairs with facing the sea is spacious and has one queen size bed.
(The rumpus room upstairs can be used as a fourth bedroom if desired by modifying lounge suite).
Location
The house is conveniently located on Seaview Road. It is located in between Henley Beach Jetty and Grange Jetty; approximately 1 km from either. The beach is across the road. The beach is smooth and sandy; great for walking, playing and swimming.
There are many excellent cafes, restaurants and hotels within walking distance. West Lakes Shopping Centre is a major centre a short drive away. Harbour Town is also a major brand direct outlet shopping centre also close by car.
Adelaide City is approximately 11 kms away. There is a bus stop literally outside the house which takes you into the city.
Adelaide Airport is approximately 7 kms away.

This property was brilliant for what we needed. Plenty of space for a family to spread out, clean and all the amenities that you could need plus everything was labelled (so helpful!). The location was amazing with the beach a very short distance and the shops and restaurants an easy walk away. Communication with Sue was easy and helpful. Will definitely look to stay again. The house was comfortable for 5 adults and one toddler , the stairs were a concern baby gate would have been handy , well equipped kitchen 2 lounges and tvs. Easy walk to beach lovely and quite bit longer stroll to cafes

The house was great for what we needed. Plenty of space for us all to hang out or get away from each other!!
The walk to the beach is very quick & it’s a nice walk to the pub & restaurants.
Will definitely be looking to book again.

The property was well located for our purposes of going to the city quite a bit, close to the airport, the house was comfortable, had easy access, close to good coffee, restaurants and variety of shops and of course the beach - pretty darn good all round 😊

I booked this property for my cousin‘s family, three adults and three children, but I visited several times with my family. It is a good location with a very short walk across the road and down a small street to lovely Henley Beach. Location is wonderful, particularly if you have a vehicle, as the shops are a kilometer or so away. Lots of areas to relax so that adults and kids have their own space. The adults said that they had everything they needed in the kitchen, linens etc. for a wonderful stay. Great barbecue also.

This is a large home for families, plenty of space for all.

Stayed here for Christmas. Huge property! Everyone could find their own corner to escape to. Beautiful old Adelaide 1950s architecture with mod cons like ducted air-conditioning. Extremely comfy beds - best night's sleep I've had all year. Great swimming beach accross road and easy walk to Henley Square restaurants and Grange hotel. Beautiful sunsets from huge upper deck, and view of the hills from the East rooms and rear balcony. Will stay here again!

We had a lovely time at this house. Access to the beach was easy. We could also get good coffee nearby - easy scooter ride for the children.

We had a lovely stay at Sue’s place, everything was well labelled and easy to navigate. The house is huge!! There is a lot of space so you aren’t on top of one another. We are a family of 4 but two families could comfortably stay here. The security is very good. It had everything we needed plus more. Best of all the beach was right across the road.

Upon arrival we found the home clean had everything we needed, we had elderly and frail parents, the bedroom downstairs bathroom, kitchen with a few steps served them well. The beach across the road was so convenient. We use the beach sitting chair found in the garage. Felt secure and very handy having remote electric gate and garage door. Spacious bedrooms and all the facilities needed. Even though some things need could do with being updating. We will be coming back and recommending.

This property is very well equipped and is located perfectly. It can cater for large groups and has everything that you could possibly ask for. The fact that it has multiple outdoor areas means that you can choose different locations, depending on the time of day. We will certainly stay at this property in Henley Beach again.

The property was so much more than we expected. A double length garage was excellent for storing a kayak and bikes. The size of the house made it very comfortable for a group of six adults and visitors for our stay during the Tour Down Under. High ceilings kept the house at a pleasant temperature. Instructions for the house very well laid out and practical. We are looking forward to our next stay.
