This is an amazing place to stay in a nicely restored historic building.

Staff were incredibly nice. The schloss room was beautiful and comfortable. Had a great sleep here. Breakfast plentiful and varied in a nice dining room. The hotel newsletter with weather forecast at breakfast was a nice touch. Very tasteful and relaxing decor in the room and public areas.

Overall - Very good hotel, but I wish there were blackout curtains

Good points: - Clean - Family friendly - Spacious room (Deluxe) - Excellent location - Comfortable bed - Baby bed with a nice mattress (not just the camping bed thin mattress) - Really good coffee

Negative points: - The curtains are not blocking out the light, so at 05:30 AM the room is not dark anymore- and the kids are up - Very limited lamp light in the room (even when all the lights are turned on - it's still dark. - Breakfast is very basic

Not the most comfortable hotel, and not the cheapest either

The location is very good, together with the parking spot. The room was very clean.

No airco in the room, while it definitely wasn't the first time temperatures were above 30 degrees in Quedlinburg. The bed was too small. The room too expensive.

A good hotel in Quedlinburg

A great hotel in the old part of Quedlinburg, The building is very distinctive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and well varied. The location of the hotel is very good.

The hotel has been modernized in some parts but still dated in others.

Great experience in Quedlinburg!

Best things were location and how friendly staff is. There was a very good breakfast. As well an own pub in the hotel which I didn't use. Really comfortable.

I don't have things to complain.

Over priced for passable accomomdation, but good location and excellent breakfast

Room looked tired, stained carpet, sink was cracked, bathroom didnt smell fresh, need of fresh decoration.

Nice old building. Excellent central location. Free parking not far from the hotel. Great breakfast.

The lady at reception was very thorough but had to explain a lot of complicated rules due to the pandemic. To us it seemed that while we respect that the health authorities lay out those rules, it is another matter if the hotel interpret them in a way to reduce their own work/staffing requirement. Of course the hotel has a right to minimise their staffing requirement - but it is not as comfortable for the guest to have to go to reception to get drinks from the minibar (so the staff dont have to disinfect so many surfaces in the room). Or have to book the sauna in advance so that it is turned on and available. It is not just there and can be used (which would of course be more convenient for the guest).

Comfortable, fun, adventurous

The hotel location was in the centre so excellent for both daytime and night time activities, The hotel its self was clean friendly and with plenty of amenities, the breakfast buffet catered for all tastes and was not in short supply of of anything.

Parking was very limited and and the route to the hotel its self was a bit tricky even with navigation, as there were many one way streets and roads blocked off and access to pedestrians only, this should not put people off though.

Highly recommende - if you are going to Qudlinburg

This was amazingly a high end hotel at a low end rate. This may have something to do with Quedlinburg is not a hot destination, and the town most certainly had signs of neglect from the days of the Soviet occupation. The breakfast was of the good German buffet type. We did not eat in the restaurant but the menu was short, inexpensive and attractive.

Amazing stay

clean beautiful room, Kind and friendly staff, great breakfast, close to the historic market yet in a quiet and calm beautiful alley. all in all I don’t have anything to complain about. when we wanted to leave on our last morning we still wanted to go sight seeing so they offered a locked room to store our luggage.

It was well located, breakfast was great and the staff during breakfast offered an excellent customer service.

For a Wyndham hotel, the room was very disappointing and due for a renovation/modernization.

Exceptional

Comfortable bed, the atmosphere, the central location was superb. The morning breakfast was nice and the young lady who was working was very efficient and helpful. The front desk staff was very accommodating, spoke perfect English. Very enjoyable stay.

There was nothing I didn't like really, the room was very comfortable, and the people were lovely. Perhaps the bathroom could have had more airing, but, you know, old castle not really set up for modern bathrooms.

Avoid booking room with breakfast during covid

Great location

At check-in at 5pm the room wasn’t finished yet. We were told we could only have breakfast for half an hour due to reduced number of tables because of covid. The only time slot left was 09.30 or before 08.00. Arriving at breakfast day 1 we saw that a lot of the food was gone, and it didn’t look very fresh. Arriving breakfast day 2 was like arriving the dessert, with most food gone and an almost empty buffet. Why pointing this out to the staff they answer rudely back. Some food was replaced but mostly not. To have to pay for this terrible breakfast service is absolutely not ok. We will choose another hotel next time for sure!

Good

On-site parking was very convenient. Our castle room (5th floor!) was nice, we liked that the bathroom was a separate room. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great with a good buffet - lots of character in this hotel. Close to the Altstadt.

Wifi was not good. Bathroom was a little outdated, and lighting not very good.
