Nice cottage on a farm. The owner has been really kind to me. The weather was terrible and I didn't have a car, so he offered me to show me around the area. We ended up having a 2hours tour through Trudeau pass, Montagu. The landscapes were amazing and the conversation too! Thank you!

Nothing, all was good

The calm atmosphere
There were other geusts that stay there and they were very load and did not clean the communial kitchen and tv room and occupied all the kitchen appliances. They booked more than 5 cabins according to my knowledge. They left on the Friday and leave the place and dishes all dirty and messy.

The Room was fine.
Some people only arrived past 12 at night and made a lot of noise. At 3 the same people started again so not a lot of sleep was to be had.

great location, beautiful views!
the owner if the farm, Bruce, was very helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure that I have a comfy and safe place to sleep for the night.

The house had everything that we needed.
The bathroom/shower area had no doors so it was hard to keep a level of privacy.

Rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
The pool was not well maintained as my 4 kids love to swim
5.0
The setting is lovely. A pity it's so difficult to get from one deck to the other. The linen was clean but no attempt at matching the decor.
Hard to comment on staff as we didn't see any.
The tap heads in the shower were loose on the wall, need fixing. The bedroom floor wasn't clean. Overall impression is scruffy.
6.0
Comfortable room for an overnight stay close to the N2.
Nice surroundings with sheep roaming around
I liked the chairs & table on the deck to sit & enjoy your coffee.
Bruce was a great host & went over & above to help us.
No wifi & poor internet reception.
Room was quite hot & we didn't want to open windows cos of mosquitos.

The indoor braai facility.
No bathroom soaps/shampoo like other similarly priced units.
7.0
Lights were on during load shedding
The noise because of the wooden floors and thin walls.
10.0
Plain and simple, no frills or fuss, but excellent value for money. The facilities are well designed and very clean. If what you need is a place to lay your head overnight, I highly recommend SwelleN2.

we really enjoyed the braai at night and watching the sheep.

The location is great!
The dry walls between units not always great. Noises from neighbors sometimes a bit disturbing.

No breakfast, but no problem with that
On arrival at the room, we found that each of us had a véry thin duvet, but no extra blankets were available. I immediately phoned reception to ask for blankets. I was told that they had none, but pointed out that there was a heater in the room. The heater proved totally inadequate and the 3 of us hardly had any sleep. The outside temperature was 5'C and the room temperature was below 15'C. We arrived at the facility at 7pm. We stayed there for a night during May this year and used the extra blankets in the room.
