good country-town hotel

Breakfast menu choice good, cooked to order, staff attentive, cleanliness excellent, quiet location, adequate off-street parking.

I have limited mobility and it was not ideal to be put on the third storey, although the staff member apologised for this, and I knew there was no lift when I booked at short notice. The room was ensuite, which I realise is not always easy to arrange in smaller bedrooms, but being of large build I found the toilet shower-room rather cramped and difficult to use.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Went out of their way to return something mistakenly left behind in the room.

Would have given 10 but breakfast ingredients could be better quality.

Wonderful place and a comfortable stay

The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Missing a duvet cover, other than that nothing at all.

Quiet, friendly, local village feel.

The hotel was clean, comfortable with great shower facility. Location was a really lovely village with lovely friendly people. Hotel owner was very friendly and attentive. Food from both breakfast and restaurant was great with a good choice. The bar was very unexpected and full of very friendly locals. We had a great time!!

Nice old building but let down buy the details

The breakfast was small 1 egg 1 sausage. With the other options. The room at the back was close (20 meters) to a gauge. Who start at twenty to 7 in the morning. Coffee in the room but no milk. The on site restaurant close before 8.

The Station is an old fashioned, no frills, hotel and I have stayed there many times over the years.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for our needs.

Great staff, great hotel. lovely clean and great food.

Lovely staff, lovely food in the restaurant and breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed a lovely steak on first night at a great price. Lovely clean rooms can’t fault our stay.

Be good if public bar was open later, however totally understand it’s not busy so difficult to justify keeping it open. Be nice to have a fridge in the room, this is minor staff easily gave us milk when. needed.

A very comfortable hotel.

Hotel was clean and staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was big with an effective heater and good shower facilities. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre but is in a quiet location. We had a meal in the restaurant which had a good menu and is reasonably priced and similarly there was a good selection at breakfast. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Great Deal On The Other side of Aberdeen!

The room was comfortable & the staff was sensational. Very good value.

It was very noisy when people let the doors "bang" closed going in & out of rooms.

Friendly clean tidy hotel serving excellent food. I stayed on a Friday and it was steak and grill night plus the normal menu; I had a steak that was cooked exactly to my liking
