Handy apartment for walking

The location of the apartment is perfect for coastal walks like La Merica and inland forest exploration to Las Hayas and beyond . The beds were very comfy, plenty of hot water. Apartment was spacious with a lovely terrace in the plants and trees, great sunset and hill views. See pic Very handy to have a shared use of the washing machine under the property.

We stayed in Mid February 2023, it was a bit cold in the rooms- there is a small heater and plenty of blankets. The lighting could have been better, amount of and not to dip every so often. There is a shop, Panaderia, back in the town ( only open am) best to get food there, more choice and reasonably priced. We didnt use the restaurant close to that shop but it might have been cheaper than the one next door. Bathroom could use an update.

Amazing

After a horrible experience in "Casa Escuela" (in La Calera, don`t stay there) I had to find smth fast and this place was like a peaceful heaven to me. Checkin is great since reception is in a restaurant. I loved the balcony and garden in front. Apartment was equipped even better than expected with things like a blender or hair dryer. Main people wouldn't speak English, but when I had an important question about an earlier arrival they asked somebody to talk to me. I wish I stayed longer. Sunset in nearby Mirador de los Santos was my favourite experience in La Gomera.

Central to the north-west, the south & the national park. Clean and comfortable apartment, kind and helpful hosts.

beautiful little place, we only stayed one night as we were travelling through the area. nice view, the restaurant below is super homey with good food and exceptionally kind staff. had we had more time in La Gomera, we would have stayed there longer!

stay away! they cheat tourists

The room was fine and the people seemed helpful it beware, they are overcharging people

There was an aura of “rip off” here. The food prices at El Jape restaurant were not written down and were double the normal Spanish and Canary Island prices. We organised a taxi with them to go 14 Km and thought it was to be 15 Euro but turned out to be 50 Euro. The taxi driver was obviously working in cahoots with them. Beware!

Nice owners and good location. Beautiful view

It was dirty and there was old blood stain on one towel. A lot of long black worms coming to the house from outside. It was a bit cold, but the only electric heater had a damaged cable, hidden behind the cupboard.

Nice little terrace with view on the mountains. Restaurant just next to the apartment offering nice and generous meals.

The bed was small for two people. It is located a bit outside the village, but the view compensates

It was spacious, on a bus route and near good walks.

It was at quite a high altitude so dropped cold at night. It was quite isolated so once the sun dropped you were stuck inside.

Great location and value for money and lovely host

The property is situated in a place where multiple trails start and the checkin was super easy. You go to the restaurant El Jape and take the keys and a lovely lady shows you the apartment. Easy and straightforward. The wifi is decent, but if you move to the bedroom it seems to lose connection

The wifi could be improved. It disconnects sometimes

Pleasant

The bed and the water pressure in the shower. The bus stop right outside. A number of nice hiking trails nearby. That's about all.

Poorly equipped kitchen. Extremely uncomfortable seating furniture. Cold apartment with stone floor and only heating through a single heater (on wheels) that you had to move between rooms. And it was not there to begin with, I had to ask for it.

The apartment it s good for short time. Had a relative nice studio, with a little terrace with mountain view. Good location for a couple of days and to do day trips from there if you travel with a car. The wifi didn t work in the bedroom, the sofa was very unconfortable.

UNFRIENDLY STAFF. She didn t smile , not even a welcome. We initially want to stay more days but with this kind of attitude we prefer to change the location.

Good value if a high degree of comfort is not your top priority - perfect for hikers/backpackers

The location is great for hikers, as there are numerous trails nearby. Even though it's close to the main road, it's very quiet at night, so one can rest well, also because the bed is great. The place is also very spacious and has a full kitchen.

There was only one small heater for the entire apartment, even though it got quite cold on some nights (early January). Luckily it had wheels, so at least I was able to move it around. A second heater for the bedroom should be added. More carpets would've been nice as well, since the entire floor is tiled. The couches in the living room are not very comfortable and could use an upgrade.
