The camp is located on a private beach, without other camps near by. It is close to the Israeli border and perfect for spending a night before moving on to the rest of Sinai like we did, or staying there for the whole visit. The entrance to the water is very comfortable, the camp is well maintained and the staff very helpfull

Located close to the border yet secluded and peaceful with no other camps surrounding it, this camp has a very unique atmosphere. The staff is amazing and welcoming, responsive and caring. Food and cleanliness are beyond expectations! Cant wait to visit back Ahmed, Bassant, Shirin, Sally and everyone else in the staff including the dogs! :)

Location was very nice and the most important part that there is no around properties or in other words the around properties not working so really feel insulated from the world which required to release the stress and the heal your body up
No electricity to recharge cell phones in the hut only the main huts.

My recent 4-night stay at Sakartha Camp was absolutely amazing! The staff at the camp went above and beyond to ensure that all of our needs were taken care of, from arranging transportation and getting us a local SIM card to providing delicious meals (made by the one and only Basant!) and offering helpful information about the area.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Sakratha Camp and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway :)

This is the best kept secret in Sinai!!! We had the most wonderful time just doing NOTHING, exactly as we planned! Ahmed, Basant, Shereen and all the time make an incredible effort to me you feel comfortable and at home! The camp is clean, the toilets and showers are very clean, the bungalows are comfortable, the beach is clean and the food is very tasty and fresh. We had privacy, it doesn't feel crowdy, it doesn't have loud music, it was more than perfect to relax. This is a place we highly recommend if you are looking for a quite Sinai experience, we will be back for sure!!!!

WE ADOOOORED THE STAY
the food is beyond words
the hosts are so genuine
It was a 10/10 stay would come there anytime again
the only thing that could be a problem for divers/snorkellers that there are no reefs in front of the camp. but for me it wasn’t a problem.

The warm and kind welcome of the staff and owners makes you feel at home from the start, it’s really the most peaceful and quiet experience in Sinai. The food is made fresh and delicious, the vegetables are fresh and the dinners are a lot of time traditional Egyptian food. Had an amazing and quiet time.

Solitude, silence and sandy beach - not a place to party
One of the most friendly and welcoming staff I ever met.
Rich and tasty breakfast and dinner.
The rooms/bathroom/toilets are very clean.
Located 30min drive from the Taba border crossing.
Good value for money.
This is an eco-friendly camp. This means that the shower has low water pressure and water is not being heated.
These were not problems for me, but might be an issue for others: visited end of October, shower water was hot enough and low pressure means that the shower took a bit longer.

SakraTah is not a camp- is a home! Basant, Ahmad and Shirin hosted us in the best way we could imagine. always available for any question, good vibes, good food, amazing location. calm camp that gives you the best relaxation experience of Sinai. we will definitely go back there at our next vacation.
best value for money. for us it was perfect.

the location is beautiful, the view was stunning, the breakfast was tasty
We chose this place because of the excellent reviews but we were very dissapointed. They have bed bugs there :( I got bitten all over my body.
When I told the owner and showed him my bites in the morning, he didn’t seem to be much concerned about the situation and hasn’t even once apologies or offered me any kind of recompensation for the problems caused. That was a real shock for us, I’m a business owner too and I can not imagine reacting this way to such a serious situation caused to any of my guests. We had to wash all our clothes & bags to avoid bringing it back home.
There’s a strange vibe in the camp, we didn’t feel line paying guests but more like at some school camp with rules to follow. For example we were told off for ordering food at 5:30 because the dinner time is at 7 (which means they serve it eightish..) So you have to adjust to their eating time table as there’s no other food/shop option around. Apart from the basic issues like literally no pressure in the shower in the bathroom (you need to use the shower on the beach), not clean toilet with lots of used clothes hanging on the door & very often missing toilet paper, the vegetarian dinner was very simple taste & overpriced comparing to the other food on the menu (which you can’t however order for dinner, you can only eat the food they’re cooking for everyone).
All these details one would ignore if there wasn’t the experience with bedbugs, that’s really a no! So if you can, chose some other place!!!

The staff is extremely friendly and really cares about the guests. The place itself is perfect to do absolutely nothing - something rare in today's fast pace, hypercompetitive world. Truly a relaxing experience
