We stayed for three wonderful weeks. My wife and I often travel to from the States to France where we spend time touring and also visiting with her siblings (she’s French American). For this trip we became the hosts. All of her family and our American daughter visited at some point during our three weeks. It was a wonderful spot to entertain family on the sunlit terrace and at the pool. The hosts are nearby but you’d never know it unless you need something. Very clean, well stocked, quiet and comfortable under the blue sky of Provence. We have stayed in numerous home rentals throughout the US, Caribbean and Europe and we’re rating this one the overall best.

We really enjoyed our stay in Puyricard at Le Mazet. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. There is everything at the property that you could ever need and the location and facilities are perfect. The gardens are immaculate and the property very clean and well equipped. We are planning to return next year. Highly recommended. Ensure you speak to the owners with regard to the number of rooms you expect to occupy before arrival to avoid any confusion.

Lovely setting- easily accommodated by family. We loved the outdoor spaces, especially the refreshing pool. The host were so approachable and warm. Close to Aix en Provence centre, lavender fields and Lac St Croix!

We had a great time at this wonderful house and we fully enjoyed our stay. We were 4 people and there is absolutely enough space for everybody. The pool and surrounding is gorgeous! Michel and Christiane are lovely landlords who take care about everything very carefully.

This property was perfect for our family of 6. The location was about 8 minutes from Aix-en-Provence and made for a great home base to explore all of Provence. The house was spotless, beds were very comfortable, and kitchen was equipped with all the necessities to make our own meals and enjoy the fabulous patio, wonderful view and sounds of the birds. A very relaxing setting!! The owners were wonderful and kind, were there to great us, and provided a lot of information and brochures on things to do in the region. Highly recommended! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

"Great place if you want to have relaxing and charming time in Provence. When asked by the owner about things viable for improvement – I couldn’t think of any. The house has lot of privacy, very well equipped and tastefully decorated – it really was one of our best holidays. Owner is extremely friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to my friends."

"The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything you could think of, the owners are very helpful and considerate, so the trip turned out to be exactly what we had dreamt of - even though it was a bit cold and windy in the middle of March. We were 6 adults and 1 child, and there was enough space for all of us. The place is quite easy to find, the area is amazing, and it''s really close to Aix. It was hard to remember any imperfection by the end of the trip."

"We had a wonderful stay at L''Emblave. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable and very well equipped, and the pool is lovely. The owners are charming, helpful and knowledgeable. L''Emblave is also very well situated, with local shops close by (including a small, well stocked convenience store one minute''s drive away), and the delightful town of Aix only 15 minutes by car. There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity, including the Puyricard chocolate factory (5 mins drive), the vineyard and sculpture park at Chateau Lacoste (20mins), Cezanne''s atelier (15 mins), Marseille (35 mins), Cassis and the calanques (45-60 mins), the villages of Lourmarin and Bonnieux (45 mins), and Montaigne Ste Victoire (45 mins). All in all an absolute delight from start to finish - highly recommended."

Our family of five rented Le Mazet and were thrilled with every aspect of our stay. The house is very comfortable and set in the country-side of Puryicard, with all the colours and scenery for which Provence is famous, yet close enough to the village to hear the distant church bells.The garden is magnificent and includes a large pool and cabane, extensive lawns and a small orchard. Our landlon, Michel, who lives next door with his wife, was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make us welcome and assist us whenever the need arose. He speak perfect english, which was great help to us as our French is limited, and he was very responsive to any request. We found him to be honourable a considerate landlord who keeps the property, pool and gardens beautifully. We had a truly magical 6 months a so appreciated the tranquility of this special place. We grew to love the little village of Puyricard, which is well of the tourist trail, and the beautiful town of Aix en PRovence about 10 kilometres to the south and found Le Mazt to be the perfect spot from which to explore Provence and the rest of France.
